In February 2012 I had a Polyp removed from my Colon since then I’ve had a problem with nausea and vomiting that has been getting progressively worse. At first I thought that it could be the Altocid that the Doctor prescribed and I ceased using it and just used the Iron tablets, Folic Acid and Scorbex but the problem continued. I ceased using all the medication altogether even the Metformin 850mg for my diabetes and the problem has persisted. I am at my wits end because I am vomiting more than once a day now. Its mostly bile or I assume it bile but I’m not sure.

Could you guys refer me to someone who can help me, I’m due to go for another Colonoscopy in June but I’m tired of medication that is doing nothing in helping me.

I must state that I’ve had stomach problems for at least two years now and nothing seems to work in alleviating the pain I feel. I’m normally woken up each morning at about 3 and the pain has gotten so bad that I get spasms up my back now when I eat something.

My grandmother of more about 75 year is 100% healthy. She has recently (more than a year ago) experienced stiff knee joints and as a result is now using a walking stick. She feels no pain on the joints, it is just that they are stiff. People have advised that I buy her arthrochoice or arthrogaurd. I am a bit worried by the fact that these are for people suffering from arthritis and she does not have it.

Nausea would not normally be related to the operation a year ago.

The constipation is a risk factor for haemorrhoids so is presumably a long standing problem..

Persistent bleeding needs to be reviewed as either the haemorrhoids are back or there is some other cause for the bleeding.
