I’m looking to go between 800-900 bucks… with an nvidia graphics card and at least 2GB of ram.

for kicks i looked up a machine on dell’s site and i think i had a quad core intel chip, 4gb ram, nvidia 8800GT 256MB RAM and a 500GB 7200rpm HDD. it was under 800 dollars lol.

You know I like looking up stuff, so if you give me a $ amount, I’ll give you my opinion on different components. Really good hardware has come way down in price. Of course there’s still bleeding edge stuff that’s up there, but who need that.

I think of Fergie kind of how I think of Christina Aguilera (sp?), I’m impressed with the talent, but not always with the way it’s used.

I was actually pretty impressed by the performance. I don’t know about Fergie otherwise, but she kicked it pretty good on this performance with the Heart girls.

You know, I walked in during the middle of this performance on TV, and thought, ‘Who thinks they can sing Barracuda?’, then I noticed it was Heart, lol. I was also impressed by the contestant that was singing with them, but now I know it was Fergie, no wonder she sounded too good for American Idol.

hehe i’m not sure what I want to play yet. you need to let me know if you guys are going to be playing it, this way we can get a full group running around to do stuff. i’m tired of the two-three man groups and being passed by everyone cos we can’t ever find folks to hang with!

Zuroliff has just reached 50, had to change the spelling, KaCe took xurolif before I started playing again.

I’ve been looking at the different armies for the Warhammer game, I just can’t decide on a favorite yet, I guess I’ll have to wait to see how each type playes. I think I like the High Elves better than the Dark (just by looks), and the Chaos looks cool too.

It actually looks a lot like Dark Age of Camelot (same production company - Mythic). I hope that it plays better than DAoC (which was a great MMO) - in that DAoC’s Realm vs. Realm (Mythic’s version of PvP) got wildly out of balance. They appear to be trying to fix those inconsistencies and if they do, they may have a great game on their hands.

I’ll let you know if I ever get the beta invite.

I have my name in on the beta wait list as well. The newsletters seem to have slowed down, seemed like I was getting one a month, now it seems more like one every other month. On the plus side, the progress indicated in the newsletter looks impressive. I played the table top Warhammer so I have expectations from that experience weighing in too. At least the screenshots don’t look like WoW anymore.

That’s another one of the reasons why I’m leaving WoW. My beta app has been in with Warhammer for ages, and I’m still hoping that one day I get the nod.

I’m trying to reign in my expectations as well, but I’ve got to say that damn! it looks really nice. I’ve watched some of the videos and stuff and the lead guy is a nut, but I think he understands the frustrations of most of the MMO players out there. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

I’m trying to not have to high of expectations for Warhammer Online, but it looks better everytime I check it out. They are certainly taking their time releasing it, so hopefully it will be polished when it’s released.

When I’m not in NC (like now) I’m usually on every night from 8 till about 11 or a little after. Weekends I can usually be found logged in most parts of the day and night.

Doesn’t suprise me that you’re the same social butterfly that I am. I actually haven’t even grouped with KaCe yet. Got to 22 in about a week though. I think I’ve had about 8 guild invites, didn’t know any of them, and did a set of quest with just one of them, the rest were just random tells as I was running by.
Anyway, that’d be cool, I’ll let you know. When are you usually on?

Shoot me an email with the names of yours and Kace’s toons and lemme know when you are going to be on and I’ll do that for you, no sweat.

And don’t think I group with everyone… I hang with three folks… All from work… We levelled from 1 - 70 together with no other help, including running most of the instances.
