Handmade Ryan Gosling? Ahh Yes Please!

I was up late trawling the internet for nothing and everything when I came across this Handmade Ryan Gosling. No ladies its not a DIY of how to make your own Ryan Gosling (but that’s not a bad idea), its a tumblr created by Etsy seller Ashley Ray and her own personal Gosling daydreams if he were right into crafting.
Now this might come as a shock to some people but I was never into Ryan but thanks to that tumblr I think I might have changed my mind. Hop on over there and let your crafty daydreams with your Mr Gosling come to life.

Llamas Make Us Smile

Llamas are rad. I like to look at them as the super models of the animal kingdom, awkward but beautiful. Long eyelashes, a killer coat and not to mention a lovely neck which could hold a million necklaces (if that’s what they were into). If we could have any pet here at S+S headquarters the llama would be right up there next to narwhals, and bison.

Up your ziggy with a wa-wa brush!

As the festive season is slowly winding down I am however more lazy then ever and watching movies left, right and centre. Yes I should be working on new designs, or on Sanoii + Six’s up and coming jewelry adventures (yes, people were trying our hand at jewelry) but i couldn’t help myself when I saw The Hairy Bird pop up on the screen.
I heart this movie to pieces. Set in early 1960′s America it has breathtaking fashion, a story line which puts today’s “teenage” flicks to shame, and an amazing cast with my all time favourite Kirsten Dunst. There is even a few cameos, one from Sanoii’s husband Hayden Christensen (he’s the kid that Tinka rubs up on at the dance, uh huh) and Matthew Lawrence, you know the brother of Joey Lawrence, who’s the Brother in Blossom?
Now if you haven’t seen this movie I suggest you go and hassle your local video shop for it, and if you have seen it I dare you to go watch it again, and again, and again.

Dreamboat Tuesday

This particular Dreamboat Tuesday isn’t solely dedicated to a specific person, rather a genre of people. If I can call them that. . . And as Movember is coming to its sad close, I feel it’s incredibly important that we pay homage to those fine folk that no matter what month it is sport a fine spread of facial hair. Yes that’s right this week’s Dreamboat Tuesday is devoted to the bearded fellow.

You can imagine my delight when I stumbled across a tumblr (I know, I know, but bear with me) that’s sole purpose was to celebrate the beard. Hallelujah! Happily titled ‘The Bearded’ it is quite self explanatory and it is in my opinion pretty darn great.
