Another year has gone. 2021 comes to the end. The year of surprises, struggle, success and wins.

Christmas is today, and New Year is just around the corner. Let’s celebrate these! Let’s make new and better plans for future year.

SAP Expert had its ups and downs this year too. This year was not like any other. Despite being busy almost throughout the year, there were no business trips, the mandatory element of consulting life of the past. What will be next?

2022 will bring us brighter days, even more interesting projects, even more love! I promise!

Not many SAP Consultants spend it like before. We got used to travel, to work in the office, to celebrate with colleagues in small teams.

More often than not SAP consultants are now working from home and are not even being offered a return to the office.

But nobody cancelled holiday season. The holidays are different around the world, but most of us still celebrate something: New Year, Christmas, Hanuka and so on. It is common practice for people to give each other gifts during the celebration. Even if you don’t get presents from someone else, why not make yourself a small present?

What has been considered by many generations as the best present? Of course books! Paper books may now seem a thing from the past, but still there’s nothing equal to holding a nice smelling new book. As a last resort, you can have a Kindle with a selection of electronic version of the book.

The best book for SAP consultants, of course, is a book about SAP. It can be a book about SAP career, which SAP Expert wrote you about earlier. Or you may be interested in a more specialist book with in-depth knowledge for particular SAP functionality – and SAP Expert prepared you a list of best buys.

Of course, there is a trend to take the staff back into the offices at least to some extent. But how widespread is it?

SAP Expert asked the readers of this blog about their current situation as it stands now, in autumn 2021. Let’s now see the results of the poll.

No surprise, the majority of SAP consultants still continue working remotely. Some eighty percent were not even offered a return to the office yet.
