I am so enjoying photographing families this spring! I recently had the chance to shoot a mini-session with the Harte family (Katherine is a talented photographer over in Austin!) when I traveled to the grand state of Texas to attend a workshop and visit a darling friend of mine who is engaged and whose wedding I’ll shoot later this year (…more on that later!). I LOVE AUSTIN–such a unique and quirky city!–and I so enjoyed meeting Katherine and her charming little family!

I don’t shoot many maternity sessions, but Philip + Hillary were so fun to photograph and Ella, their gentle, goofy dog is officially the best behaved dog I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. :) I love these sun-soaked images, the affection between these two, and the sweet anticipation of little baby Harrison (who arrived only a few weeks later!).

Brittany and Harrison were married earlier this summer at Rock Quarry Farm, their outdoor wedding and barn reception chock full of southern charm and oh-so-much-joy. I’m delighted to call these two friends, and I’m so thankful I had the chance to get to know them more and more over these past few months…and then to see them become husband and wife (!!!)! I also loooooved shooting at Rock Quarry Farm, with it’s lush outdoor setting, the farm’s sweet yellow lab Cody (…you know I couldn’t resist petting that ridiculous dog!), and the quaint reception barn full of twinkling lights–I had such a fun time exploring the grounds! So, so happy for these two.
