I'm getting started very late this week, or very early for next week, whichever way you look at it. The refrigerators are BARE. I just went through and cleaned them. It's amazing how easy it is to clean a refrigerator when it's almost empty and not really dirty.

Maintenance cleaning = cleaning when it looks clean.

This year, a bit more.

We walked through the Stations of the Cross last week. They enjoyed intoning the number of station and what it symbolized in a very loud voice as they walk from station to station outdoors. It may take a bit before we stay at each station longer for prayer!

We rented a truck and moved just about everything out of the apartment and into our house. Now all I have to do is go over and clean! I'll offer it up as penance, since cleaning is on my list of least-favorite things to do. Except dusting. Dusting with an Ostrich feather duster is fun and relaxing.

Our Lady of Lourdes this Saturday! I was given this statue by friends when I joined the church. Our Lady of Lourdes has been following me all my life. From the time when my Aunt gave me some holy water from Lourdes when I was little, to the Rosary with a bit of earth from Lourdes in it I was given at RCIA.

I've managed to have a couple projects on the hooks this week. I've adjusted to having one ongoing, never-ending project with my Rosary making. A Rosary a day keeps the devil away. Or something like that. Although I do think that is more a reference to praying than to crocheting.

I pinned the icon from said post, then proceeded to get all crafty that night.


After finally refilling the printers yellow ink cartridge, I printed out St. Joseph and trimmed him up.
