Copy Django Project to C:/inetpub/wwwroot/yourproject

Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager. Under connections select the server, then in the center pane under Management select Configuration Editor. To Enable Static files on IIS:

Add Virtual Directory. In order to enable serving static files map a static alias to the static directory, C:/inetpub/wwwroot/yourproject/static/

Refresh the server and navigate to localhost

You have started a django project on IIS and it is working perfectly on your localhost. Now, when deploying it to web-server, the static files (CSS, JS, images,..) are not fetched. You can read here and here , but in fact, you don't want all these configurations and copying files from one directory to another...

What you want is that your IIS server will fetch the static files from the static/ directory, just as the development server (the one you run with python manage.py runserver) did.

Solution

1) inside the static/ directory, create a new file called web.config (notice, you probably have another web.config file in upper directory - don;t touch it. just leave it as is).

2) Write the following as the content of this file:

What is the Internet and why has it been invented?

The Internet is a vast network that connects all the computers. While using the internet we can share information and communication throughout the world.

How does the internet work?

The Internet moves data from one place to another through the network in a series of hops. Data moves over the internet in a manner called packet switching. It works by using a packet routing network that follows Internet Protocol (IP) and Transport Control Protocol (TCP)

The origins of the internet are rooted in the USA in the 1980s. During the cold war between North America and the soviet union (Russia). People lived in fear of long rage surprise attacks due to deadly nuclear weapons. In that situation, the U.S needed a communications system that could not be affected by a soviet nuclear attack.

Computers were large &exclusively expensive machines used by military scientists and university staff in that period.

These machines were powerful but limited in numbers, researchers required access to the technology but had to travel a great distance. To solve this problem researchers started ‘time sharing’, i.e users could simultaneously access a mainframe through a series of terminals, although only a fraction of the computer’s actual power at their command. Overcome this problem led various scientists, and engineers to research the possibility of a large-scale network

For what purpose internet was invented?

Initially, the internet was invented for military purposes and then expanded for communication purposes. The first workable prototype of the Internet came in the late 1960s with the creation of ARPANET(Advanced Research Projects Agency Network). Originally funded by the U.S. Department of Defence, ARPANET used packet switching to allow multiple computers to communicate on a single network.

In 1965, Lawrence Roberts made two separate computers in different places ‘talk’ to each other for the first time. This experimental link used a telephone line with an acoustically coupled modem and transferred digital data using packets.

When the first packet-switching network was developed, Leonard Kleinrock was the first person to use it to send a message. He used a computer at UCLA to send a message to a computer at Stanford. Kleinrock tried to type ‘login’ but the system crashed after the letters ‘L’ and ‘O’ had appeared on the Stanford monitor. A second attempt proved successful and more messages were exchanged between the two sites.

How does the data transfer across the continent?

A larger amount of data is transferred thru Fiber optic cables at a very high speed. Compare to other cables, this cable transmits the data with a high bandwidth level, is less bulky, lighter, more flexible, and carries more data. There are 2 major types of fiber optic cables: single-mode and multi-mode. The single-mode fiber uses very thin glass strands and a laser to produce light. Multi-mode fiber optic cables use LED.

The single-optic fiber cable networks usually use Wave Division Multiplexing techniques to increment data traffic that each strand can carry. Wave Division Multiplexing allows combining light in multiple different wavelengths and then later separated. This effectively transmits multiple communication streams in a single light pulse.

Nowadays most of the internet traffic flows thru undersea cables. These cables – often thousands of miles in length – are able to transmit huge amounts of data rapidly from one point to another.

A submarine cable is a fiber optic cable laid in the ocean, connecting two or more landing points. The cables are laid using ships that are modified specifically for this purpose, transporting and slowly laying the ‘wet plant’ infrastructure on the seabed. These special ships can carry thousands of kilometers of optical cable out to sea.

Some traditional method of laying optical fiber still used in most developing countries is Ducting and Trenching. This involves creating a trench through manual or mechanized soil excavation. This approach is preferred in countries where manual labor is cheap. There are around 380 underwater cables in operation around the world, spanning a length of over 1.2 million km(745,645 miles).

Hy guys in the blog we gonna learn about the Magento virtual hosting setups in the previous blog we already set up some basic things like servers implementation on Nginx, MySQL, PHP

First, we gonna be creating some virtual domain addresses for Magento.

On your Linux machine go the /etc/hosts path

By using nano command edit the hosts file

On that host file we gonna add some new

This behindfacts address it's the local virtual host for Magento.

Once the configuration is done on the host's file next we gonna configure the Nginx config file for Magento

Most of the users have this problem on new LAN connection in their network & mainly users view the below error frequently while trying to open the shared folder located on the other computer

this occurred due to several reasons "windows cannot access \\ computer name" the main thing is network problems of the LAN connections like Lack of network, not proper permissions, improper network drivers, and some corrupted registry problem.

Some Major Settings Need to check to Resolve this Issue much as possible

GO -> Control Panel ->Network & Sharing -> Advanced Sharing Settings.

-Turn on Network Discovery options

-Turn on file and printer sharing

-Use 128-bit encryption to help protect files while sharing through network

-Turn off password protected sharing

-Turn on sharing so anyone with network access can read and write files in the public folders

Use the Run command to Open "Regedit" go to the following path

"Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanWorkstation\Parameters"

How To Install Linux, Nginx, MySQL, PHP (LEMP stack) on Ubuntu

Hi guys in this blog we're learning about how to install nginx server, mysql- server, PHP

For running web applications

First thing we need to update the repository use update command line to update it

sudo apt update

And then next we need to install nginx server for running PHP file

sudo apt install nginx

From above command line helps to install Full package of nginx server

Some firewall permission is there for nginx server

sudo ufw allow 'Nginx HTTP'

Check firewall status for network ports

sudo ufw status

Finally check the nginx service status whether it is working or not

service nginx status

Check on browser by typing "localhost" on URL

The page will reflected nginx test paper that's indicated your done with basic nginx server set-up

For databases we are install mysql server from below command line

sudo apt install mysql-server

Check the mysql service wheather is correctly running or not

service mysql status

once Installation is done we need to assign password for server

sudo mysql_secure_installation

sudo mysql

SELECT user,authentication_string,plugin,host FROM mysql.user;

ALTER USER 'root'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED WITH mysql_native_password BY 'password';

FLUSH PRIVILEGES;

exit

mysql -u root -p

install the php by using the command line

sudo apt install php7.4-cli

Install the php-fpm service

sudo apt install php-fpm php-mysql

service php7.4-fpm status

In this blog we are explaining how to fix the "zsh: corrupt error" on kali Linux

first thing what is zsh error??. kail linux 2020.4 zsh is the new default shell

zsh: corrupt history file /home/kali/.zsh_history

ZSH stands for Z Shell Pronounced as zee shell.

ZSH is the upgrade version of bash script with more advanced kinds of stuff

this error happens occasionally not frequently,

its corrupt zsh history file prevention you from the 'fc'

command or searching the history.

If you wish to revert back to bash, please do the following command line from below

chsh -s /bin/bash

We Noted Some Cool things ZSH shell

-- No need to use the cd command to change the directory We just type the directory name as well its automatically pick up that directory.

-- ZSH supports plugins and themes also

-- ZSH is supported auto spell corrections and suggestions also

How to fix that error?? run the below command line to fix that error

Hi Guys many of them facing this issue on Archetype machine during foothold "mssqlclient.py" script.

me too faced that issue.

I have been tried so many method to slove that machine but unfortunately i can't find a way i keep tried so many thing in that time i heared about the docker.

I use the docker to run the python Version 3.7 in that i run the mssqlclient.py script tried to login the Credential finally its worked for me.

python3 mssqlclient.py ARCHETYPE/sql_svc@10.10.10.27 -windows-auth

Beginner can use this way to slove that machine.

We are using smart phones in all the environment such as bag, pockets, etc.. so phones get dusted daily and some micro dusted particals are stored inside the charging port.

Hi, Suddenly I Faced This Issue "CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED" Blue Screen Error While On Booting

Hi guys many of them wrongly give permission to "/usr/bin/sudo" path due to this we can't access sudo as root user that's a problem. how to fix that first remove the installed linux hardrive or SSD from your computer or laptop connected into another linux machine then open the terminal Mount hardrive or SSD directory from you connected

Go to this path "/usr/bin/sudo" & change the permission of this path with comment given below

chown root:root /usr/bin/sudo
chmod 4755 /usr/bin/sudo

Then remove the hardrive or SSD connect to machine try sudo comment boom it's working thanks guys for reading this

Hide folder By CMD

In order to hide a folder, first of all browse to the location in which the folder is residing.

Now, do a shift + Right Click and click on open command prompt window here.

Now, In command prompt (CMD) type this command

 attrib +s +h "Folder name"

As soon as you hit enter , your folder will be hidden. Now, no one can see this hidden folder , just by checking show hidden folder and files in windows PC.

To show the folder, open CMD as mentioned above and type given below command

attrib -s -h "ItemName"

1) After Plugging in you're USB or SD Card Go to Start Menu and Type "DISKPART" & run it as administrator

2) Then type "LIST DISK" & Hit Enter

3) Now you have to select the disk which has the problem by typing "SELECT DISK 1" ( 1 Indicates Disk Number ) & Hit Enter

4) Then type "CLEAN" & Hit Enter

5) Now type "CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY" & Hit Enter

6) Then Type "ACTIVE" & Hit Enter

7) Finally Type "FORMAT FS=FAT32 QUICK" & Hit Enter

*****METHOD 2: USING BOOTICE APPLICATION*****

1) Download & Extract BOOTICE From the Link Below

2) Open BOOTICE As Administrator

3) Select the disk which has the problem

4) Then Click on "PARTS MANAGE"

5) Then Click on "RE-PARTITIONING"

6) Now Select "USB-FDD Mode" & Choose The File System as FAT32 and (Give it volume label name (OPTIONAL)) and click on OK and OK Again

7) If It doesn't Work then again Select "USB-HDD Mode" and choose file system and volume label and click on OK and OK Again

*****METHOD 3 USING MINITOOL PARTITION WIZARD*****

1) Download & Install MINITOOL PARTITION WIZARD From the link below and Run it as administrator

3) Now Select the whole Disk, Right Click it and Click on DELETE ALL PARTITIONS and then Click on YES
