Sasha was born in Bangor, Wales on September 4, 1969, but spent most of his youth with his mother in the Welsh town of Sandycroft, Flintshire, North Wales. Sasha's mother, taught French at Hawarden High School. Sasha's early musical taste was primarily Top 40 pop music like The The and The Police. After an "idyllic childhood", he passed the entrance exam for Epsom College at age 17. However, he did not like Epsom and left before completing his Advanced Level (an academic qualification in England, Wales and Northern Ireland). Instead of continuing his schooling, Sasha moved to Bangor to live with his father and stepmother. Sasha's stepmother forced him to take piano lessons which, although he disliked them at the time, Sasha ultimately found to be beneficial to his music career.

René Vaitl (www.renevaitl.com) is one of the most respected House DJs from Germany, who played all around the globe, as well as regularly at prominent fashion events from "Dior" to "Chanel" or "Diesel".

René Vaitl's residencies include the infamous glamour club "P1" in Munich (1991 - 1995), Germany's legendary "KW- das Heizkraftwerk" (1996-2003), "Mandarin Lounge", Munich's first internationally acclaimed House club (1995-1997) and since 2000 Ibiza's notorious club temple "Pacha" in Munich. He plays at the legendary "World League" events next to international guest DJs ranging from Sven Väth, Loco Dice, Dubfire and M.A.N.D.Y. to Laurent Garnier and from David Morales, Tiefschwarz, Paul van Dyk and DJ Koze to Carl Cox. And René Vaitl is also frequently performing at Sven Väth's mega club "Cocoon".

René Vaitl compiled and mixed all CDs of the respected Pacha compilation series "Pacha - World's most famous Club Sound" & "Pacha Summer" , which stormed the official German album sales charts and #1 at the album charts of iTunes several times.

In support, Israeli house/techno icon Guy Gerber plays Live making his Edinburgh debut, fresh from headlining the world biggest underground events including the likes of Circo Loco and Cocoon, to helping produce P Diddys latest artist album. 

For over 10 years The Liquidroom has been entertaining music fans in and around Scotland by hosting gigs and events 7 days a week , 365 days a year. We are proud to have worked with artists from every music genre ; from Hip Hop to Rock, Country to Pop and we have seen Dj's from around the globe grace our stage for some phenomenal club nights. We pride ourselves on being a venue that is open to all which is available to hire, as well as in-house promotion being key to our events calendar. After being closed for refurbishment for almost 2 years, we are happy to be back bigger and better than ever. Technically we have installed a bespoke and state of the art sound and lighting system yet unseen in any venue of our size in the UK. We look forward to another ten years of hosting some of Scotland's best music events and club nights.

(In essence) So this means that Tomorrowland will take place on Friday 22, Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 July 2011, with the festival ground fully opened on all three days. The camping ground will already be opened on Thursday 21 July in the morning and a few hours later the warming up camping party will open the festivities in the afternoon.

Extrema outdoor takes place on every 3rd Saturday of July at the beautiful recreational lake Aquabest in Eindhoven. The steadily sold out dance festival developed to one of the most successful ones of the Lowlands and has been praised for both her intimate ambiance as well as her deco and the solid line-up.
The annual Extrema Outdoor Festival in Holland has announced their lineup for 2011. The lineup features some of the biggest electro and prog house artists (Afrojack, Steve Aoki, Armand Van Helden, Sasha, Sander Kleinenberg), as well as the top techno and underground house DJs (Sven Vath, Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Carl Craig).



1. FutureFunk
The glowing sun kisses your face, your bare feet caress the grass, your hands float in the air... The FutureFunk is traditionally packed with a variety of international headliners and our country's electrohouse top artists. Prepare for exploding climaxes and busting dance moves.

2. Cocoon
Sven Väth's posse is back for more! This time in a new open circus tent. Rollin' bass lines, crushy shakers and sweating craziness! International techno heroes from minimal via house to the more heavy stuff will take care of a deep 'n damp atmosphere. P-A-R-T-Y.

3. This Is
Yeah, yeah, yeah! This is... the event brand and record label founded by the Dutch dj/producer Sander Kleinenberg. Visual aspects are just as important as the unique progressive This Is sound. The area returns to the Lakeside, as we all love it.

4. Rauw
Crazy? Yes. Awesome? Absolutely. Explosive, extreme and dangerously sexy - this sums up one of Holland's most exciting club concept Rauw. Tantalizing tunes, cutting edge sounds, raw power, raw passion and raw, unadulterated fun. Extrema just loves Joost van Bellen. Period.

5. Planet E
Extrema welcomes Planet E! At the beach club, right on the beach, surrounded by palm trees the legendary Detroit techno label boss Carl Craig drums up his royal inner circle of friends to celebrate 20 years of pure musical history.

Sasha will be performing at Pacha Ibiza in 'Pure Pacha all gone Pete Tong' (Friday, September 23th 2011) alonside Pete Tong and Jon Cowan.
As a global clubbing brand, Pacha is head and shoulders above the rest, but the undisputed jewel in its crown is still the original Pacha Ibiza, on the outskirts of Ibiza Town. Stealing headlines last season on the White Isle by poaching Luciano and Cadenza for its Sunday nights, it also proved that the club, renowned for its rich VIP guests and lithe, jewelencrusted dancers, as much as residences from the likes of Swedish House Mafia, could still attract underground talent.


PETE TONG is Britain's best-loved dance DJ. He doesn't need an award to prove his popularity and he won't act cool to keep his credibility. The host of Radio 1's ground-breaking Essential Selection show for a staggering eight years, he works within the mainstream, but is respected by the underground. 
Born in Dartford, educated in Rochester and inspired by the underground soul scene of the late seventies (and the music of the time...by the likes of Funkadelic, James Brown & Evelyn "Champagne" King) Pete's first DJ job was at a wedding.


Sasha, born Alexander Coe, is a Welsh DJ and record producer. He is best known for partnering with English DJ, John Digweed, as Sasha + Digweed. The pair released several mix albums together, including the Northern Exposure series. 
Sasha is recognized as one of the worlds' most innovative icons of the electronic genre. He propels listeners into the future of electronic music by constructing innovative and forward-thinking concept albums and live events that blur the boundaries between artist and DJ.


Jon's love of the music sprang from all-nighters on the floor at Aahz in Orlando. While looking for ways to continue hearing fresh tunes, the Miami Beach born entrepreneur and Hotelier, launched a production company called Generic Soul. He soon began constructing highly respected underground parties all over South Florida.  Moving to Dublin, Ireland in '95 broadened his world and upon his return in 1996, Jon launched Bliss Productions. The production company and fully-fledged label with major label distribution had a roster that rivaled the largest and most impressive UK Indy electronic/dance companies.  Bliss initially grew in South Florida through shows at the Shadow Lounge with inaugural resident, Dave Seaman. The gigs quickly gathered momentum when Bliss moved to Groovejet and let the brakes off. Dave played monthly alongside a host of guests. Among them, Jon Cowan launched his own DJ career with a surreptitious supporting slot. "My first real gig was playing alongside one of the progressive forefathers on a Saturday night at Groovejet," laughs Jon. "How can you beat that? It was definitely a privilege and a learning experience, too." From there Jon went on to tour the world with such success that he landed  residencies at the UK superclub Renaissance and U2 front man Bono's club, the Kitchen in Dublin, Ireland.

Creamfields Abu Dhabi will once again give electronic music fans of all ages an unforgettable night, as Yas Arena on Yas Island - a new location for this year's event - is packed with over 20 international and regional DJs. Over the coming weeks, Flash will announce a number of other global super stars to join David Guetta on the bill. 

Creamfields Abu Dhabi, a multi-act outdoor dance festival that holds annual events in 15 countries, will be held on 9 December 2010 with David Guetta as the headlining act.

Creamfields began in the UK in 1988 and has established itself as a major UK dance festival. It takes place at the Old Airfield in Liverpool on the August bank holiday weekend, this one-day event is the closing party of the summer, with numerous live acts and top-flight DJs. The brand has expanded internationally with festivals held in Andalucia (Spain) Buenos Aires, Istanbul, Mexico City, Moscow, Prague, and Rio De Janeiro amongst many others.

One of the most famous and certainly one of the best, Ministry of Sound still cuts it up like no one else and is never short of a top class act to mix your night up.

The Venue
Located in a disused bus depot, the venue was initially chosen to deliver a warehouse feel, reminiscent of early '90s dance scene. From the outside, it's a massive concrete structure with the only the pounding bass seeping through the walls to hint at what awaits within.

With three rooms to choose from, Ministry of Sound has managed to keep that awesome warehouse feel, matched perfectly with a touch of glamour. The main bar is the best place to stock up on drink or rest those weary feet with raised sofas at the rear. A long metallic balcony stretches across the ceiling, offering a perfect vantage point for people-watching and, if you're glam enough, access to the VIP area.

The Baby Box packs a punch for its size: doused in disco balls and an array of lights, it always offers a cracking atmosphere, but it's The Box where all the action really happens. One of the best sound systems, minimal decor, and outrageous lighting ensures this room epitomises the dance scene that's made Ministry famous. All the big names have played this room and it's easy to see why they keep coming back for more.

The Atmosphere
From the hairs on the back of your neck to the soles of your feet when you leave, every inch of your body feels The Ministry of Sound experience. The punters just want to dance all night and only the best DJs make the Ministry grade, so every night is set to be a good one. The only let down is the queuing outside, but then this is pretty standard wherever you go.

The Music
It's urban on Fridays and house on Saturdays - pick your poison and the club will do the rest. With the likes of Pete Tong, EZ and Roger Sanchez at the helm, it's a fairly high pedigree in the booth - all you have to do is check out the listings and attend the right night for your taste.

The Drink
Despite its superclub status, the drinks are priced just above average. Five pounds will buy you a vodka coke, but the selection of beers and spirits is good. The main bar is long, and always well staffed; so service is rapid, which lets you get back to business on the floor.

The Last Word
It's easy to see why Ministry of Sound survives where others have fallen. World class talent, a venue in a league of its own, and a certain je ne ces quois makes this club a true superclub.

The celebration of 10 years will reach the most diverse line up so far.

Creamfields has put together a rather eclectic lineup, with techno, house and more commercial sounds all well represented. Fatboy Slim, David Guetta, Faithless, Paul Van Dyk, Carl Cox and Ritchie Hawtin ending the 2010 with one of the final stops on his world tour, while Marco Carola, Cassy and Dubfire round out the techno contingent. There'll also be plenty of house on offer: Progressive heavyweights Sasha,  Steve Lawler, Loco Dice and Buenos Aires favourite Hernan Cattaneo have you covered, along with Swedish House Mafia member Steve Angello.

Labyrinth Productions & Pioneer Dj Laboratory are proud to present an all new concept @ Café d'Anvers called Maximum. For their first edition  the one and only Sasha is heading the right light district in Antwerp. 
1989, the year everything changed: the fall of communism, the distruction of the Berlin Wall, the condemnation of Salman Rushdies Satanic Verses. But also good things happened: The Simpsons started their tv career and, closer to home, a medieval church in Antwerp's red light district was transformed into a new radical nightclub opened: Café d'Anvers.
Café d'Anvers is undoubtedly one of the most legendary clubs in the history of Belgian nightlife. Ever since it opened its doors in 1989, the biggest names from around the planet stood behind the decks.
