Once a session is underway, I prefer to follow the client's inner wisdom. I may get an impulse to apply any of a number of techniques, but I often find myself wondering what other ways there may be to proceed, and what - in the whole wide mystery of human nature and spirit - what might I be precluding if I arbitrarily choose, for example, a behavior modification approach. That is, I prefer to ask, if I honor and facilitate the stream of spirit moving in the client's heart, where is it asking to go? In another vein, what about this business, wherein so many therapists assume that an issue derives from a childhood experience? Is it always so, or is it perhaps that it is only partly so, or is there another avenue, more optimal, that might pay off in a better way? There are times when a client has already worked through that hook, and needs a fresh approach. The issue could have more to do with, for example, a former incarnation pushing through. Or an off-kilter meshing of the four bodies/sheathes of the human spiritual constitution (physical, etheric, astral and egoic levels of our being) - of which there can be several variations. Over all, the human being, and life itself, is hugely mysterious - and the quest becomes, how to genuinely hold that mystery as a doorway that invites new exploration. We use only a tiny part of our minds and souls in this living process.

It is useful to view "evolution" from the anthroposophical indication. Here, Rudolf Steiner asserts that, contrary to the popular conception, evolution does not follow a steadily rising line of complexity (picture a graph with the line rising form bottom left to top right, representing degree of complexity) - but, rather, a curve that drops back down as time progresses. The example Steiner cites for this is the difference between an animal eye and a human eye. Most animals have a more complex eye, but the human eye is more evolved.

Using this inspiration when looking at holistic counseling, and combining the sentiment with the feeling that modern counseling can become too convoluted, or require a degree of "expertise" that doesn't feel right, the focus takes on a more responsive role.

I don't really want to be someone who charges $200 an hour, and feels induced to extend counseling sessions, and that whole line of working, but rather, entertain the central question, how can I maximize an empowerment of the clients, and as much as possible remove myself from the process, as soon as possible.

I have believed, for some time, that we all harbor inner resources and abilities that are, as yet, still sleeping, and that the time is upon us to increasingly waken these resources. And I am referring now to resources that extend far beyond what we are currently using, both generally, and in holistic counseling. And induce the awakening of these latent resources, we need to practice engaging some open-ended arenas, including leaving open doors, and lots of silences, and coming to places where we are not actually clear about how to proceed, and yet be okay with that. I don't want to run what I feel is a program for clarity, only to find out I have missed an opportunity to wait it out at the gates of the mystery we call the human being. So, I also want to remain unclear, when it serves Process, so to speak - to be willing to explore and discover, from a place of not-knowing.

The time is drawing near when counselors who are not rigorously grounded in spiritual reality will be considered redundant, of little value to client needs. This is because the world is becoming increasingly spiritualized in its focus. It is simply time to awaken, to take of the blinders of materialism, and get on with true life.
The mere thought of it causes nausea and disgust. The fact remains that urine therapy has been around for as long as man has. There is no evidence that it has ever harmed anyone and many firmly believe that is has helped and even healed them in some way. One of the former Prime Ministers of India proclaimed on American National T.V. that he drank 500 ml. of his own urine every morning and he believed it was the very reason he lived healthy to age 100. Yogi`s and some Buddhist monks which are among the oldest living people of the world, drink urine to heal and purify their bodies. Medicine Buddhist Monks will smell and taste the urine of patients to determine illness and for the purpose of determining treatment. Drugs come with a long list of side effects while urine therapy has no known ill effects.

Every day we can turn on the T.V. and hear reports of how drugs and medicine have been found to have terrible side effects. Somehow however, we have learned to tune those things out in the hope that we can take some magical pill and all our problems will disappear. At the same time, when we hear someone speaking about natural remedies including urine therapy, we think... what nonsense.

Urine therapy in the Morning

It is time to wake up and smell the Urine. Anyone who does drink their own urine can instantly tell if they ate healthy the day before, or ate processed junk food. The proof is in the smell and taste of the pee. If you ate healthy the day before then the smell will be minimal and the taste will be like slightly warm water with just a hint of mineral salts in it. If however, you ate fast food or some other kind of junk, then your pee will have a very strong odor and the taste will sting with a rancid overwhelming flavor.

Just the Facts About Pee!

The fact is, we have known for some time that pee is a sterile fluid with many minerals, vitamins, hormones and other components that have been passed by the body simply because the body was unable to make use of them at that particular time. It may be that the body had enough of those at the time or it may be that a less than optimal bodily function was unable to make use of them in spite of their being needed by the body.

By consuming the pee, it re-introduces those things in a form readily absorbable by the body. More and more people around the world are being "Sold" on the idea that only drugs are real and only these chemical medicines can aid the body in healing. But before you blindly follow someone who stands to profit from your choice, consider the facts.

Have you ever known someone on drugs who was healthy?

I have never known anyone who was on drugs or in need of surgery that was healthy. But I have known many who ate natural foods, took herbs, practiced urine therapy, meditation and spiritual practices along with other traditional medicines and practices that were very healthy. That`s a fact!
Much like all expert witnesses, these dental experts explain concepts and will also interpret facts regarding a particular case. They use their knowledge to determine all kinds of information based on the dental records. They are used in civil and defense cases, dental professionals usually testify regarding dental records, forensic evidence and other specialized areas in the industry. It is very typical for dental pro witnesses to be contacted in civil malpractice matters. In these situations, the plaintiff's law firm might call upon a witness to explain just how another dentist's measures were harmful. For example, if the dental office did not adhere to proper treatment process or missed an evident complication, the dentistry expert witness will show you this to the assess and/or even jury. Conversely, your defense may use the particular expert to explain the reason why the dentist served properly or had not been negligent. In either predicament, each side trusts that the expert's testimony carries sufficient clout to help acquire the case.

Tooth expert witnesses furthermore appear in municipal court for greater cases involving product or service liability. In these cases, a hurt party may file suit a manufacturer as well as supplier of products alleged to do harm. A dental specialist could testify regarding either side in the case by assisting the plaintiff's boasts with medical understanding or by supporting the defense present that no damage was caused.

Lawyers also employ dental care expert witnesses inside criminal trials. In situations where dental evidence is vital, the witness will offer you an expert thoughts and opinions to try to swing the jury or even judge. For instance, take into account an assault test where the supposed perpetrator bit your victim.

The district attorney would use the pro to compare dentistry records of the charged with the chew pattern. The protection also could use a specialist to dispute the particular prosecutor's witness, provide an alternative description of the episode, or claim that the particular injury was not serious.

In more intricate criminal cases, a new forensic dental pro, for example, might be called in order to testify about human being remains where detection of a sufferer is only achievable through dental data. The expert could also recreate dental characteristics, such as mouth structure, or support bolster an argument regarding cause of dying based on autopsy results or criminal offense scene evidence. Forensic dentist experts are generally highly specialized specialists; not every dentistry expert witness is actually qualified to state on these complicated criminal matters.

These specialist serve as the actual expert witness used in court. A number of dental experts merely provide background information pertaining to attorneys or give a written, sworn affirmation about the proof in a scenario. Some just give accounts in an out of court deposition. Your expert may also help law enforcement officials investigators build their particular case by advising specific lines of questioning. The specialist also may present dental examinations or even interpret records, as well as attorneys will use the data in court without having necessarily calling your dental expert to be able to testify in person.
Unfortunately, many student-athletes sustain concussions as a result of falls, collisions or physical contact during sports such as football, basketball, hockey, gymnastics, field hockey and even cheerleading. A concussion is not just a bump on the head. It is a mild traumatic brain injury that immediately and temporarily disrupts the normal functioning of the brain.

During practice or a game, the coach or athletic trainer may notice that the player is not acting "quite right" - the student athlete may:
   * be dazed
* forget plays
* lose balance
* appear awkward
* become confused

The student athlete may even have a brief loss of consciousness or be unable to remember what happened just before the fall or collision.

These are all warning signs that the player may have a concussion so it is important for the athlete to be examined by a physician. Athletic and recreational staff, as well as parents, school nurses, and educators need to watch the student over time for further symptoms of concussion including:

* dizziness
* grogginess
* headaches
* nausea
* difficulty with memory
* problems with concentration
* confusion

Any student-athlete who is being examined for a possible concussion should be immediately taken out of practice of the game and closely monitored. While most symptoms of concussion resolve quickly, late signs of concussion may emerge over time and include:

* persistent headache
* irritability
* ringing in the ears
* lightheadedness
* blurry vision
* anxiety
* poor attention
* restlessness
* depressed mood
* memory problems
* fatigue

Any of these changes can make it difficult for the student to function in school, complete homework, and keep up with peers. If any of these warning signs or symptoms continue after the student returns to class, it is important for school staff to develop a plan to reduce the student's workload. The brain needs time to rest and heal after a concussion.
It is unthinkable to a child to even have to go through a process of surgery let alone knowing why he has to do it.

What if you really have to do surgery? In that case, you have no choice but to prepare the child. You have to follow a certain game plan and do it in a manner that will get him ready to face his fate.

Since this experience is going to be a totally new one, he can be forgiven for any uncertainty. Surround him with familiar objects and people
   Think about that favorite stuffed animal that they are fond of playing with. Just get them something that will ease the tension.

For the child to face the situation in the correct manner, you need to prepare him with the correct info. Think about the child's age and figure out which way would be best to put the information through.

There is certain apparatus that will be used. Tell the child about these and tell him to expect being touched by the medical staff in charge, all in an appropriate manner.

Keep it as honest as it can be. Find a decent way to bring the child to understand the procedures without it sounding like astrophysics 101. Connecting each of the procedure with previous similar sounding experiences will help a lot.

You have to prepare for life after the surgery. You need to assure the child of your support afterwards. You will need to be there even by the time the whole procedure is complete. It is not cruising downhill for any child. However, your presence and support can make a very big difference.

The importance of a mosquito killer and uses of acrylic mirror can be found in the author's site.
This study has been running at least two years to record the progress of children during swimming lessons. "Preliminary data that we get provides quite positive developments," he said. "Even children who join the swim school look growing better in life."

Acrylamide is an organic compound with chemical formula C5H5NO. These compounds can be formed on high carbohydrate foods such as corn, potatoes, cassava, fried, grilled or baked at the temperatures above 120 Celsius. Some foods such as potato chips or other potato-based products such as fried potatoes, cereals, bakery products, and products made from corn or corn flour are believed to produce the Acrylamide.

Jorgensen said the research also monitors 60 young swimmers who are selected at random from a number of schools in Australia to support the research. Based on the study, children who are taught swimming since childhood has a higher IQ than children who are not taught to swim. Interested? Then teach your children how to swim from now.
In a perfect world, our bodies get all the necessary nutrients from our food. Unfortunately, most people do not get everything they need from a modern diet. Although the acquisition of high quality organic foods can help solve this problem, even that is often not enough. Additionally, it is especially difficult to maintain the proper vitamin intake if you have any allergies or are subject to any dietary restrictions. Even just having a poor appetite can be a great disadvantage when it comes to getting adequate amounts of all the essential nutrients the body needs. The ingestion of caffeine drinks, alcohol and nicotine also depletes one of necessary and important nutrients. Because of the low quality of many of our non-organic fruits and vegetables, most of us will benefit greatly from daily vitamin and mineral supplementation. One of the most beneficial nutrients is Vitamin B12, which can substantially increase energy levels and boost immune system functioning. Other nutrients that are also important to maintain good health are vitamin A, C, D and E. Additionally, supplements such as colostrum and selenium can also contribute greatly to your overall health and wellness. If you would like more information on setting up a regime to take vitamins it's a good idea to consult your physician.
Why is setting up a regime to take a good vitamin and mineral supplement so important? Many medical problems are caused not by bacteria and viruses, or even real physiological problems. They are often the result of poor nutrition. Over an extended period of time, a diet devoid of nutrients leads to a variety of deficiency diseases that usually require medical care and in some cases, hospitalization and can actually lead to death.

Traditionally, the most obvious answer to a lack of adequate nutrients in the diet would be a balanced diet. Unfortunately, in today's world, this is almost impossible. We live in a world dominated by fast food and store-bought, packaged food. Clearly, good nutrition has taken a back seat to taste, convenience and money.

Modern science has discovered all the necessary nutrients that our body needs to function at an optimal level. All of the nutritional products on the market today have made it possible to supplement our diet with advanced nutritional support. For example, compare the convenience of swallowing a capsule to preparing and eating an entire plate of vegetables! Still, it is unlikely that you will get all the nutrition you need through food alone.

What are some of the negative consequences of not taking in enough of each vitamin? Deficiency diseases are a direct result of a lack of specific nutrients. For instance, a lack of vitamin C can lead to scurvy. This disease leaves the individual with a weakened immune system and non-healing wounds. A feeling of general weakness or malaise is associated with low iron levels in the blood. A lack of vitamin D can cause rickets, which in turn causes brittle bones and promotes bone diseases like osteoporosis, later in life.

Bearing this in mind, the need to ensure adequate amounts of each vitamin is quite clear. In our modern world of convenience foods, it is often very difficult to acquire an adequate and balanced amount of nutrition from a single meal, much less to repeat that three times a day, on a consistent daily basis. This is what the companies had in mind when they came up with vitamin and mineral supplements.

Another extremely beneficial supplement to take on a daily basis is omega 3 fatty acids. The risk of cardiac death is significantly reduced by taking omega 3 fatty acids. Omega 3 protects the heart by lowering cholesterol and triglycerides levels. The brain also functions most optimally when it has a good supply of omega three oils. In addition, fatty acids also help to protect us from developing depression. If expectant mothers supplement their diets with enough omega 3s, they will protect their children from vision and nerve complications during and after pregnancy.

It is therefore vital that we all take advantage of the advances in health science and invest in our own health through a daily regime of nutritional supplementation. Not only will this supplementation increase our well being today, it will also prevent us from developing a number of deficiency diseases in the future. It has been statistically proven that people who practice good nutrition throughout their lives, including a regular regime of vitamins, live longer and have a higher quality of life when they get older.
Make sure you that you are aware and understand them even before you decide to hit the road:

1. Know the car very well. Before you bring the car out of the rental company familiarize yourself with the features, especially the safety amenities, such as hazard lights, seatbelts, and locks. Australians are very strict about road safety. You will also likely meet accidents and injuries if you don't check them out before you hit the road.

2. Apply for a driver's license. We are not talking about the domestic license you're using. You need to apply one in Australia, and you have to carry it with you at all times. The police doesn't accept international driver's permit either. If you wish to drive, ensure you can process your driver's license before you arrive in the country. Of course you need to bring along your valid driver's license.
   3. Follow the driving rules. There are tons of them, but let's talk about the most essential. First, keep yourself and your kids safe. It doesn't matter where you're driving. The seatbelts must be properly worn at all times. If the seatbelts appear to be much bigger for the kids, you can hire or purchase a child restraint. The police love to surprise drivers once in a while. The last thing you want to happen is to receive a violation ticket.

You also have to be mindful of your speed. On the average, you are allowed to drive up to 60 kilometers per hour when you're in the city and 100 kilometers per hour when you're in distant towns and less crowded regions unless the signs say otherwise. The police can follow you discreetly, so you better watch out from being apprehended for overspeeding. You also need to slow down when the weather happens to be bad.

As much as possible, don't drink and drive. That's the best way to keep yourself safe. However, if you cannot help that, know that the legal alcohol limit in the country is 0.5 mg per blood liter. You may find yourself spending a night in jail and your license revoked if you fail the breathing test.

4. Carry a map with you at all times. Australia is a large country, and you get the feeling of getting lost once you reach the farther regions such as the Australian Outback. It pays to have an up-to-date map with you, as well as a GPS in your vehicle or on your mobile phone.

5. Be watchful of the wildlife. Roadkill is common in Australia, especially along the highways, and it's normally committed by tourist drivers. When you're driving in places where wildlife is abundant, it pays to slow down.

6. Keep left. Always drive on the left lane unless you're going to overtake another vehicle, which means you have to go to the right. However, you can never overtake and go right with tramcars.
Today a lot of diseases are spreading due their mistakes, they are not paying attention towards their health which taking them to weakness in many cases. For this mistake many countries are not developing. If the persons should improve them taking different steps in their every day life then it can be very good for them. Today every one wants luxurious life, me also, but every one has to think about others not for his life only and this thinking led a country successful in every part of life. The past generations or our forefathers are successful in their dealings because they work for their country with the true heart and always be happy in this cause. A person cant be fit for whole of his life as if he was not healthy and healthy life led to a successful life as a man was able to do work for his country. If the young generation of today would work with the same enthusiasm then we will never be put down by any one in this world. A successful nation is respected in whole of the world as it is considered as a super power because his people are giving attention to his nation and that thing took them to a higher place in world. Every person have a skill in it and it can be used if he is fit and able to use it so health is the ladder of success of every nation.

Stress for Dentist and Patient

Here I'm going to look at one of them. What is this something that is common to both dentist and patient at the time of treatment without which both would simply die? The answer I am thinking of is that both need to breathe.

Breath - the single most important fact of our life. Breath is a resource. Breath is energy. Breath brings oxygen to the places that need to heal. And breath is a free natural resource that can be used right there in the surgery for the benefit of both dentist and patient alike.
   An obvious truth you might say but as such it has gone largely unrecognised as a help to the dentist and their patient. That is maybe unless maybe you are a dentist and a practitioner of mindfulness meditation. Then you might have used the breath to calm your patients. Or if you're like me, a meditator myself of some 30 years standing, you may have just naturally used your breath to settle yourself in the dentist's chair and take your mind off an unpleasant dental intervention. In fact this has sometimes meant I have been able to successfully avoid an injection for a superficial filling.

But there is more to be gained from these facts of life than this. Today the practice of mindfulness is gathering pace throughout the world as an alternative to drugs treatment for the treatment of stress, pain, illness and depression. But it can be used and applied by anyone. Anyone who can breathe can practise Mindfulness.

However it would appear that dentistry profession has been slow to catch on to mindfulness compared to other medical competencies although the Faculty of Dentistry at Dalhousie University has incorporated it into the curriculum for undergraduates.

So what is Mindfulness? Mindfulness is awareness, recollection, bringing the mind which has become scattered and lost in 'thought-worlds' back to that moment of now, awareness, to that moment we are aware that we are aware, that precious moment which distinguishes us as humans from other life forms. To this moment, the only moment in fact, the present moment. Coming into the present like this is something we all do, something innate, something which makes us human. Something that gives us a little gap of consciousness before we go back into a new 'thought world' and in a way back into unconsciousness.

OK so how might this be important for a dentist?. A dentist is busy, stressed, under time pressure all the livelong day. Many dentists are suffering from stress; this is well-documented. That precious moment of awareness can be used by the dentist to make a qualitative difference while he or she is working. We come back into the moment, we relax, we are present, it feels good, we remember our posture. Our breath links us to the earth and can be used consciously to bring ease and refreshment to our body.

Mindfulness of breathing is learning to use the breath to link us to our whole body so we are not just using our head brain but the whole of our 'body brain' while we work. This is actually hugely important to our health. It is in a way a small adjustment but a hugely qualitative one in controlling our stress levels.

This is very much the territory of what I teach on my groundbreaking course Mindfulness and Dentistry. Mindfulness is proving to be an important strategy for avoiding stress generally but it has interesting applications in the dentistry field.

Once the dentist has mastered mindfulness for himself or herself he or she can use it with patients to help them to settle, relax and sometimes avoid sedation. This is done using simple verbal skills to create relaxation. Thus the patient can have a more relaxing experience in the surgery and leave happier, maybe even healthier.
Science has identified around 2200 different groups of free radicals (oxidants) in our bodies & Sarcoidosis victims have much higher oxidative stress levels than people without Sarc.
1. ROS - reactive oxygen species are responsible for the tissue damage in interstitial lung diseases (ILDs) such as lung fibrosis or sarcoidosis. This is a lead in the development of new therapies and of suggesting optimal antioxidant dietary regimes.
   2. A potential role of oxidative stress in the step by step development of a disease and the chain of events leading to diffuse lung diseases (DLD) has been demonstrated. Increased oxidant levels and decreased antioxidant defences can contribute to the progression of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, sarcoidosis, pneumoconiosis and pulmonary fibrosis associated with systemic sclerosis.

3. Future studies should explore the clinical relevance of the relation of oxidative stress, antioxidant therapy and cardiac dysfunction in sarcoidosis.

4. Sarcoidosis patients might benefit from antioxidant supplementation not only by empowering the relatively low protection against ROS but also by reducing inflammation. OK, I just have to ask you to read this statement 1 more time & ask yourself why Dr.s & specialists don't recommend antioxidant supplementation!!! Jack was NEVER informed of these results. Thank goodness I stumbled on them through my own research AFTER his specialists stopped treating him.

5. Oxidative mechanisms are currently discussed as playing a crucial role in the pathogenesis of inflammatory lung diseases. Oxidative stress increases in sarcoidosis might be due to both increase in lipid peroxidation and decrease in antioxidant status (PON1).
And the older you get the more difficult it seems to become. We live in a world where we all want instant results and want to speak a new language quickly. However, learning a new language will take many months of dedicated effort. You have to learn the alphabet system of the language, which may be different from yours. If learning languages like Chinese, Japanese or Korean will require considerable more effort before you can read and write the language. You have to learn the sound system of the language. Then, you have to learn the words which take a long time as you will require about 1000 words vocabulary to begin to be fluent in the language. Next, you have to learn the particular properties of the words because the properties will tell you how to put them together in a sentence. You do this by hearing them used correctly in sentences, preferably, by a native speaker of that language. It is best to not learn too much grammar at first as you will become bogged down in all the grammatical rules and not enjoy learning and using the language. When you were a child and learned to speak you did not learn the grammar of the language first. You learnt simple single syllable words such as mum, dad, good, bad, cat, dog, etc. You then learnt words with two syllables. Then you learnt some more words that enabled you to be more expressive. You started to put some words together eg you are bad, mum is good, I like dog, etc. You learnt adjectives and added them to your sentences eg I like small dog, I like hot food. You did not learn to read and write until you could speak fluently. And you did not learn grammatical rules until you could read and write the basics of the language.

Why do most foreign language courses start by teaching the grammatical rules of the language. This is the most difficult and unnatural way to learn a language. It is also boring for students and not much fun. One of the key elements in learning a language is motivation and staying motivated until you become proficient enough to communicate with native language speakers. Learning a language has to be fun and interesting or students simply lose interest and fail to learn.

The German language software approach is to mimic the way we learned to speak our native language when learning German. The absolute best way to learn German is by listening and repeating what you hear. After all, that's how you learned the language you speak now. The software makes use of interactive learning activities and highly entertaining word games that result in greater memory retention of what has been learned. These fun games greatly help students stay highly motivated while learning the language resulting in a quicker, easier and more productive learning experience.
These vermin can find their way into your home on your clothing, your luggage, your shoes... and bringing just one pregnant bedbug into your home or office can result in an infestation. People who travel are at exceptionally high risk of bringing bedbugs home.

If you're traveling, it's important to leave your luggage at the door or on a table or rack near the door while you inspect your room. Never, ever set your luggage... at any time... on a bed. And be sure not to place your luggage on a couch or chair until you've inspected the couch or chair.
   Bedbugs are most often found in and near the bed. It's important to check behind the headboard, throw back the sheets and blankets and inspect them, and also examine the mattress and box spring. You should run a credit card along the seams of the mattress where they love to hide. Also check bureaus and tables within 10 to 15 feet of the bed, especially underneath the drawers. Bedbugs are also found in remote controls, clocks, behind paintings and generally anywhere near the bed.

If you find any signs of bedbugs... including excrement, the bugs themselves, or skins they've shed... immediately ask for another room away from the room you're inspecting.

You should have special protectors for your suitcase and specially designed drawer liners to protect your clothing from bedbugs.

As you prepare to return home, put all your laundry in dissolvable laundry bags. When you arrive, place the bags and your clothes directly in the washer in the hottest possible water and then in the dryer. Of course, if your clothes are labelled for dry cleaning only, then you can take the laundry bags as soon as possible to the dry cleaner.

Bed bugs die in extreme heat and extreme cold, so items which can not be washed in the washer can be placed in the deep freeze for up to 4 weeks. This should kill the bed bugs and their eggs. The freezer is great for books, passports, papers, etc., that you won't be needing for a period of time.

The farmer will call up the package courier and book in the parcel. He will then deliver it to the courier company depot if it is nearby or arrange for a company representative to collect it from his farm. The package then starts its very long journey.

   The package will then be stored at a local hub until it can be delivered to an airport in London to be packed onto a freight plane to Australia. Planes are the quickest way of moving parcels quickly over large distances.

The plane arrives in Perth, Australia, and the freight is unloaded and stored in a local depot until an internal flight to Melbourne is ready. Already, thousands of miles have been covered, but there are still hundreds more to go.

On arrival in Melbourne, the package is again unloaded and sent to another local hub to await collection by van to take it to the outlying town and on to the final destination farm at the end of a long and dusty track.

Although this package delivery is fictitious, it could easily represent a journey a parcel could make by Worldwide courier. Covering thousands of miles is now possible in a very short time, and packages are sent all over the world regularly in a way we almost take for granted now. Worldwide or international courier services are a vital component of today's modern world, so next time you send something by courier, take a minute to think of the amazing journey your parcel may make before reaching its final destination.
Removing the stress of driving and map reading from the experience allows the traveller to sit back, relax and enjoy the sights.

There are a great many tour operators offering a wide range of packages and routes to suit any budget. Unfortunately, the routes tend to be set and may not always visit specific areas of interest to the traveller. But side trips can always be arranged if there is a set stop nearby and the time available to make the extra trip worth while.
   When planning a tour, browse through the various tour information sections to pick out the routes that take in places that appeal most to a traveller. Many popular tour routes will travel through New York, Boston, Washington, then over the border into Canada and with stops in Toronto, Montreal and Niagara Falls.

With overnight stays and time to explore in many places the opportunities for sight seeing and shopping are endless. New York offers Broadway and the many entertaining live shows, as well as Central Park and Fifth Avenue with Macy and Bloomingdale stores for browsing and some expensive shopping. The views when crossing the bridge into Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty are excellent.

Washington offers many famous and historical buildings to visit, including the White House and many of the Government and State buildings display magnificent architectural features. The history and current day politics make this an important and busy city well worth visiting.

Boston is an elegant and beautiful city which has a European flavour. There is no shortage of historical buildings and beautiful parks to visit and a wide variety of international cuisines to choose from.

Over the border into Canada and Toronto is an exciting and exhilarating city and is any shoppers paradise. It offers an eclectic range of shopping experiences with the many markets and individual traders offering everything you can think off.

Montreal is based on an island in the St Laurence River and has an interesting history and reputation which was built up during the prohibition years. Its many historical buildings and sites are worth a visit. Montreal is in the Quebec province and is famous for its French connections.

Niagara Falls which is one of the worlds most famous tourist attractions sits on the border between New York and Toronto. The falls consist of three separate water falls, each one as spectacular as the next. A visit not to be missed.

These are only a very few of the cities and historical and interesting sites that the United States and Canada have to offer and only cover a very small fraction of both countries. Travellers could spend many of their annual holidays periods on a travel tour bus and still not have seen or visited all of the places or interest in these two massive countries.
So what is safe to eat? This is a very common question from travelers and it's hard to say without looking at each situation.

You must eat with caution whilst traveling abroad. Our stomachs are not immune to certain bugs in new countries and this can contribute to illnesses. When traveling abroad make sure you maintain your hygiene basics and monitor how your food is prepared. Here are some basic to avoid getting food poisoned and sick;
   * Make sure to carry Antibacterial wipes or gel with you at all times. I remember traveling in India and Thailand a few years ago and couldn't find a place to wash my hands prior to eating. This precautionary measure must be adhered to anywhere, not just in another country. You don't need to buy the biggest bottle of gel however take about 100 ml so that you can take it on board the airplane. If for some reason you have forgotten to buy some antibacterial make sure you use clean eating utensils and not your hands.
* Have a look at the kitchen and work spaces your food is being prepared in. Does it look safe? In this situation use your basic knowledge of food preparation and decide whether its safe. If you are scared of getting sick then I would definitely avoid street vendors and side carts. Having said this some of the best culinary experiences come from street foods.
* Are the locals eating there? If there are lots of locals eating from the store and there is a high turnover of food, it's usually a safe bet. This tells me that the food doesn't have long to sit around multiplying in bacteria and therefore safer than other places.
* No ice! I would avoid asking for ice with your beverages. There are many countries that do not use water treatment facilities for their main water supply. From time to time ice has caused many travelers to become ill. Ask for NO ice, and make sure your drink was sealed prior to buying. The only exception to this is generally in larger hotel chains or heavily frequented tourist locations where ice is made from bottled or filtered water.
* If you can't peel it, fry it or steam it then don't eat it. Eating raw fruits and vegetable is highly recommended by western society however when traveling try to avoid it as much as possible. Fruits and vegetables may have been cleaned in contaminated water therefore could be unsafe to eat. If you are eating fruit, make sure you can peel it. So Bananas, mandarins, avocados, etc are generally fine if you clean them yourselves. And yes, I would avoid eating raw salads unless it is from a larger chain hotel.
* Should I or shouldn't I eat meat while traveling? If meat is being cooked in front of you, and you are sure that it is cooked through then it should be fine. If in doubt, then don't eat meat.
* Travel with insurance. There is nothing more important than travel insurance when going to foreign places. This way you are assured that you will be looked after in the event that you get sick. Please check and double-check that you are covered prior to departing home.

Now don't let all these points scare you off eating exotic foods while traveling. The food is just as much a part of your cultural experience as the tourist locations. Just take caution when eating and you will have a great trip with lots of tasty memories.
Tips Traveling Abroad
Stash the Cash and Lose the Jewelry. Don't be a target. It is one thing to show off to your your new diamond necklace and earrings or gold watch at your local gala events but when you are traveling "Bling Bling" makes you the perfect 'mark' for criminals. Think of your jewelry as a lighthouse or beacon that sends a signal directly to criminal. Try and blend in as much as you can within reason and leave the 'good stuff' back home to keep it and you safe. Another important factor to keep safe is to keep your cash in the bank and use your debit/credit card whenever possible. Money as you know can make people do crazy things and when criminals get their eyes on your 'wad' of cash watch out. Carrying minimal amounts of cash for tipping and incidentals is essential for keeping you safe. Make a copy of your passport and if need be your VISA requirements and give a it to a loved one or someone you trust who is not be going on the trip. If something happens where it gets lost or stolen, the information can be sent to the local embassy with one phone call. Remember some countries require Tourist Visa's even if you are going to another country for just a day.

Check Immunization Requirements. You want to make sure that you are finding out what kind of shots you, and your family need before you go on your trip. Some countries require you start your shots weeks or even months before you travel to that country.

Medications. Be sure to take any over the counter medications with you because there's no guarantee that you'll be able to get them abroad. And if you are taking prescription medicine, take double the amount that you will need for the trip with you, and take one with you in your carry on luggage.
