DJWS grew up on a farm in Ohio, but spent his school years in and around Detroit. He began DJing at 17 years old in Japan.

DJWS made techno on Vinyl that sold around the world. He made some popular remixes that showed up on the internet.

DJWS collaborated with Lady Gaga to make her latest album “Born This Way.”. He is currently working on a number of musical projects you will enjoy, and will be DJing in a city near you soon.

DJ and producer NDKj aka Andrea Quirico was born in 1981 in Novara (Italy). He became fascinated with electronical music – especially techno – at a young age and soon started djing himself.
In 2007, he found with his friend Marcello Concialdi,the Heatflow Records. In 2009 he releases “Dishes Ep” into his label Heatflow records and it becomes a smashing hit! “Main Course”for months in Beatport Tech-House top10, that was charted by Steve Angello and Markantonio!! “Funkest Star” in Beatport Tech_house TOP10,played from the best world dj’s: Richie Hawtin,Dubfire,Marco Carola,Mauro Picotto,Joris Voorn,Markantonio,Joseph Capriati,Someone Else,Thomas Gold,Audiojack,Paco Osuna,Dominik Eulberg,Riva Starr,Anthony Pappa,SuperFlu,Wehbba,Matt Star,Michel DeHey,Tomy DeClerque and  others. Now he works with several labels like Cr2,Spinnin Records and Factomania and many others. Recently remixed the world famous dj/producer DJ Chus and he’s collaborating with Factomania artists like Wally Lopez,Ismael Rivas and Ivan Pica.
Officially remixed the big old house hit “Keep on jumpin” of Todd Terry, Nominated by Wally Lopez as Breakthrough DJ/Producer of 2010 with Carlo Lio and Jay Lumen. Reached TOP 10 again with the track “Running Out” with Wally Lopez ,released on Strictly Rhythm.

This weekend Saturday Night Sessions podcast is featuring an original legend from the Los Angeles underground, Swedish Egil.

Is he really Swedish?  The answer is unmistakably yes.  Egil’s career began as a club DJ in Scandinavia and Europe. In the 80s, Egil created an overnight buzz on L.A. radio on KROQ-FM, breaking many alternative artists including NIRVANA, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, and UB40.  He continued his manic devotion to new music in the 90s as Music Director at MARS-FM, then as founder of GROOVE RADIO, dedicated to club and DJ culture with artists such as MOBY, FATBOY SLIM, and THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS.  Today, Swedish Egil is soaring ever higher on GROOVERADIO.COM and as DJ/Artist spinning at top clubs and events, and remixing records for Paul Oakenfold’s PERFECTO label.  You can also catch Egil’s distinctive radio voice nationwide on Sirius XM Radio and as co-host of weekly mixshow “Powertools” (Power 106FM Los Angeles).

If you were to get out a map and track the history of house music – with endless lines sprouting from New York, Chicago and Detroit to points all over the world – you’d have to make a big, red circle around Miami, Florida, and start drawing. Miami was never ground zero to a full-fledged subcultural movement. But it is where Oscar Gaetan, better known as Oscar G, has lived every day of his life. And that fact alone makes it a hub on the global underground.

An award-winning songwriter, producer, and DJ, Oscar is one of dance music’s brightest and most enduring stars. As part of seminal production teams Liberty City, Murk, and Funky Green Dogs, he boasts hits – Billboard chart-toppers as well as underground smashes – in every decade, every trend, and every market. “Some Lovin’,” “Fired Up,” and “Dark Beat” are more than just tracks: They are moments, shared by clubbers worldwide. They’re the kind of moments Oscar still creates at Space Miami, his hometown superclub, where he’s been a resident DJ for a staggering eight years – coming full circle after a globetrotting career.

Oscar and longtime friend and production partner Ralph Falcon grew up in a Miami enlivened by the fresh spirit of hip-hop. “Break dancing, graffiti and the music that went along with it: That’s really what got me into DJ-ing in the first place,” he says. By the age of 12, he was already spinning at school dances.

Oscar and Ralph started working together at the end of high school, blending the sounds of their youth with the beginnings of house, like Ten City and Blaze; and the darker Euro bands of the time, like Depeche Mode and New Order. “We were always big on doing our own sound, with our own feeling and vibe in every aspect of it; from the way we mixed things to the sounds we chose,” says Oscar. “I remember being obsessed with that for years, and then people started to listen.”

The early years bore some of the work for which they’re still best known, like often imitated, never duplicated vocals “Some Lovin’,” “If You Really Love Someone,” and “Reach For Me” (Tribal). Upon their release in 1993, the pair became instant superstars. “Europe kind of grabbed us,” says Oscar, so they spent a good amount of time touring overseas, eventually visiting every major and minor outpost of the global dance scene, including Zouk Singapore, Ministry Of Sound London, and Stereo Montreal.

“Fired Up!” (Twisted), their biggest hit ever, followed in 1996. It topped the Billboard Dance chart, and even cracked the Top 100, peaking at No. 80. They would go on to remix countless major pop artists, from Madonna to Cher to Donna Summer; and appear on mainstream outlets like MTV and Top Of The Pops. The boys also cut two complete Funky Green Dogs albums for major label MCA, “Star” (1999) and “Super California” (2001). But their own measures of success were still decidedly underground: “Once Junior Vasquez played our records at Sound Factory [in New York], we felt like we could retire, and at that point we were like 20,” says Oscar.

In March 2000, Space opened in downtown Miami with Oscar as the Saturday night resident, just as the world was paying its annual visit for Winter Music Conference. The club – with its cavernous main room, pummeling German sound system and nitrogen blasts – was the talk of dance world, and the legend of Oscar’s residency began to grow.

The year 2003 was a big one. Oscar released the “Live @ Space” (Star 69) compilation, and won the Club World Award for “Best Resident DJ” (which he won again in 2007). Murk set a new Billboard Dance chart record, with five No. 1’s in a single year: Four singles from their self-titled artist album on Tommy Boy Records, and “Dark Beat” (Twisted), tribal house’s first real vocal anthem, which found its way from dance floors onto mainstream radio. “We came up with ‘Dark Beat’ in about 15 minutes. Whenever things come that quickly, you know there’s something to them,” says Oscar. “But we didn’t think radio or anthem; we were thinking more like, ‘Oh man, Danny Tenaglia’s gonna be all over this!’”

In 2006, Oscar became one of Pacha New York’s only non-NY-based monthly residents, strengthening his bond with his home-away-from-home, and its rich dance history. He released a second installment in the Space series in 2007, starting new relationships with Nervous Records in the U.S. and CR2 in the U.K. CR2 also snapped up the Murk catalog, and commissioned new remixes of the classic tracks, including Paul Woolford’s takes on “If You Really Love Someone” and “Reach For Me.” And in 2008, after nearly two decades making music, Oscar released out his first solo album, “Innov8” (Nervous).

Even though his passion for music creation is undeniable, it’s in his DJ booth where Oscar feels most at home. “On the music side, I’ve felt pretty energized lately, because the changes in the industry really enable you to be a lot more experimental and take more chances,” he says. “But DJ-ing to me always comes first: I really believe in it as an art form. Having a residency like Space, with a regular crowd, it’s the ultimate.”

Originally from Los Angeles, DJ Kam started his music career as a local house party DJ in the early 90′s at a young age and progressed to the Hollywood club scene in 1994. He has performed at the most renowned nightclubs & festivals in the world, for promotion companies and labels including: Go Ventures, Funky Tekno Tribe, Radio Music Awards, Saturday Night Sessions, Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi just to name a few. You can find live dj sets and remixes regularly featured on Cable TV, XM/SIRIUS Satellite, Internet & FM Radio Broadcasts in addition to multiple original label releases since 97 on Vinyl, CD and Digital Downloads. Kam feels mixing & producing allows him the opportunity to take the listener on an audio journey. He is currently in the studio producing a unique blend of house beats for upcoming releases on Saturday Night Sessions.

First getting our attention with his Laurent Garnier inspired redux of “Man With The Red Face” with Mark Knight, Funkagenda’s sound attracts musical partnerships a spectrum of genres, remixing artists including Basement Jaxx, Moby, Fat Boy Slim and Dirty Vegas. For the past three years, the DJ and producer Treasure Fingers has been making it rain in the disco with innovative remixes and original tracks. Saturday Night Sessions returned to Miami for the Winter Music Conference with its 1st club event after a series of successful private parties in past years. SNS artists such as Junior Sanchez, Harry “Choo Choo” Romero, DJ Reza, Breakdown and others played for an intimate audience that would not let the music end until 1 hour after closing. What a year 2009 turned out to be. DJ Reza has come a long way as a producer, DJ and promoter over the past 15 years with this past year being especially hectic. Saturday Night Sessions has become one of the most hyped club nights in Los Angeles and around the nation, the label has seen 5 releases in its 1st year on sale digitally and Reza has seen his profile rise internationally with gigs in Europe. Reflecting on the past year, Rezalution takes the inspirational energy from ’09 and sets the stage for 2010 to be even more exciting.

Most DJ mixes sound like they were constructed out of common building blocks. The shapes and colors of individual pieces may vary slightly, but there is never any question that any and all of them would interlock snugly, in just about any configuration. But not this one. This is something else. Something special. This Is™ Sander Kleinenberg.

“I have always battled the idea of genres and labeling that goes on in today’s world,” says Kleinenberg. How does he do it? “By trying to be versatile. Versatility makes a DJ strong. It makes it easier for a DJ to adjust to different rooms, different countries, different atmospheres in general.” The internationally renown Dutch DJ and producer certainly knows how to do just that, having captivated audiences at venues including Pacha (Ibiza), Ministry of Sound (London), Crobar (NYC), Redlight (Paris) and Panama (Amsterdam). This globe trotting artist has been at the forefront of dance music for the last decade and will make his LA massive debut at Together As One 2010 on New Year’s Eve.

Sander has given us a mix that showcases his versatility to effortlessly go between house, techno and progressive. Equally effective in an intimate club or at larger festivals, his mix for us showcases his smooth and sexy style for 56 minutes. His newest single “This Is Our Night” has been a Saturday Night Sessions favorite this year and we are happy to have Sander for his first proper Los Angeles massive performance.

For the past 4 years TV ROCK have set the benchmark in Australia for dance music, selling over 250,000 singles and picking up 2 ARIA (Australian Record Industry Association) awards in the process. Their debut single ‘Flaunt It’ spent the longest time in Australian chart history inside the top 10 beating Silverchair for the honor. Their singles have also appeared on over 2,000,000 compilations sold around the world.

TV ROCK is made up by dance heavyweights Grant Smillie and Ivan Gough. In recent months in addition to destroying dancefloors in Australia and Asia the TV ROCKERS have played to millions closing the Australian MTV Music Awards and travelling the world playing gigs.

Steve Angello‘s home away from home, Los Angeles, has become a creative inspiration for the Swedish born DJ/producer. Despite having played pretty much every club on the American circuit, he says Avalon in Hollywood remains his favourite club spot. “The vibe in there is just ridiculous! It’s the only club that goes past 4AM. When the light comes in at 6AM, I still have 4 hours to go. And then I can jump in my car and go home”. His extended DJ sets and guest appearances with other members from the Swedish House Mafia have created a huge buzz in the club scene.

Barry Weaver and Thee-O were recently invited to perform together at one of the longest running clubs in Los Angeles, Monday Night Social. With over 40 years of combined DJ experience, Barry and Thee-O played a 3 hr. back to back set of techno, house and minimal with acapellas and scratching. Ali Ghanavi has been working hard at pushing the Saturday Night Sessions sound in San Diego and around the west coast. Ali’s 64 minute mix of driving electro progressive is filled with some of the most appealing tunes of the moment and is the 1st in a 4 part series.

The newest addition to Saturday Night Sessions, Thee-O is one of the most well known DJs in Southern California and has proven himself a talented producer with releases and remixes on Perfecto Records, System Recordings and many other labels. Thee-O put together a smooth mix of tech house for the large San Francisco crowd at ETD.Love on Valentine’s Day and we recorded it for the Saturday Night Sessions podcast.
