In honor of it being Wedding Month, I’d like to talk about, you guessed it, weddings! Not just any weddings, but Disney weddings. You knew I was going to go there, didn’t you? While most of you readers are Orlando natives and the novelty has worn off, there are many Disney fanatics out there that just can’t stop going back again and again. Those are the people that plan their weddings around the park, which is just 11 miles from Savannah at Park Central.

Known as the “Most Magical Place on Earth,” the Magic Kingdom touts a number of wedding locations, from the Wedding Pavilion to one of the four theme parks and over a dozen resort locations. You can make your entrance in Cinderella’s horse-drawn coach, have trumpeters celebrate your arrival and more if you wish. Getting married under the spires of Cinderella’s Castle is an option, too.

Each year, 2,300 couples enact their own fairy tales, celebrating with family, friends and who knows, maybe a Disney character or two? As the Genie in Aladdin says, Disney shows you that “Your wish is [their] command.”
