Cadet 2nd Lt Durr has released a list of the items that will be needed for the 24 hour pack for the upcoming FTX. These items would be needed for a person on a search and rescue gound team to subsist for 24 hours out in the field. The squadron FTX will be held May 18th - 20th and Chief Durr suggested that you obtain these items a few at a time. Any backpack that will hold these items will be approved. We have a few squadron backpacks that can be lent out but they are expected to go fast. Most of these items can be found either at a sporting goods store or at Target or Wal-Mart.

The 24 and 72 Hour Pack

Items marked with an “R” are required for all personnel attending the FTX.

a. 24 hour pack
       1) On your person:
                a) Complete BDU uniform with camouflage BDU cap.
