What a way to go. 22 year old Vincent Smith II fell into a vat of boiling chocolate and died at the Camden, New Jersey Cocoa Services Inc. plant. The man who had only been on the job for a few weeks was loading chunks of chocolate into the melting vat when he slipped in.

The Camden County prosecutor’s office identified the victim as Vincent Smith II. He was a temporary worker at the Cocoa Services Inc. plant.

Smith had been in the melting pot for about 10 minutes by the time rescue crews arrived, MyFOXPhilly.com reported. Prosecutor’s spokesman Jason Laughlin says a co-worker tried to shut off the machine and two others tried to pull Smith out of the 8-foot-deep vat. He was hit and fatally injured by the agitator that mixes the chocolate. By the time he was pulled out of the tank just after 11 a.m., he was already dead.

It is not always important to look at the exact number or percentage of a poll as they are just a snap shot in time. However, what is important is to notice the trend to see whether it is up, flat or downward like Obama’s approval ratings. Once the train leaves the station and the snow ball starts heading down hill, it is almost impossible to stop.

The Gallup Job Approval polls shows an obvious continual slide of Obama’s numbers. In February 2009 Obama’s Approval/Disapproval %’s were at 70/11, flash forward to present day and they are at 56/36.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 32% of the nation’s voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-seven percent (37%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of –5.

Flopping Aces has a laundry list of numerous recent polls that are decidedly against Obama and his political positions.

Maybe they need to poll “Barak” Obama’s approval ratings, maybe that will be better news for The One.

I guess this Obama White House “spelled” the name of “Barak” Obama’s name as well as they misread the economy. In a press release announcing the arms reduction agreement between Obama and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, the doc is said to be signed by “Barak” Obama.

What’s up with the Obama administration’s spell-checkers today?

This one is almost as almost as good as this blast from the past in 2005 when MSNBC referred Nora O’Donnell as the White Ho.

It has been made official by Nashville, Tennessee police … the deaths this past weekend of Steve McNair and Sahel Kazemi has been ruled a murder/suicide. Police have determined that Kazemi shot McNair as he slept on the coach and then turned the gun on herself. The 9 mm pistol found beneath Kazemi has been determined to the weapon that killed them both.

At a news conference today Metro Police Chief Ronal Serpas stated that according to interviewed with friends and co-workers Sahel Kazemi’s life was spinning out of control. She also suspected that McNair might be involved with another woman. Jealousy drove Kazemi over the edge to do the unthinkable and murder McNair in the early morning hours of Saturday. The question that Kazemi should have asked herself was, if McNair was going to cheat on his wife, why would she not think he would cheat on her?

Several days before the slaying, Kazemi had seen someone she thought might be McNair’s new girlfriend leaving the apartment, and followed her, the chief said.

With her life and financial situation in turmoil, Kazemi was described as despondent.

Police have determined that Sahel Kazemi murdered former Titans quarterback Steve McNair last weekend with four shots while he was asleep on the couch, then sat down next to him and shot herself in the temple.

Metro Police Chief Ronal Serpas said at a press conference this afternoon that their interviews with Kazemi’s friends and coworkers showed that in the last five to seven days of her life, the 20-year-old felt her life was unraveling.

She had recently saw signs that McNair may be involved with another woman, and she might have been worried about making rent payments and payments on two cars, including a Cadillac Escalade registered in both her and McNair’s name.

According to Metro Police Chief Ronal Serpas, Kazemi had told associates that “she was going to end it all.” Police also believe Kazemi purchased the gun in the parking lot of Dave & Buster’s where she was employed.

The Tennessee Titans have opened LP Field to the public for a two day memorial to slain Steve McNair.

One may want to be careful when playing the Nazi card

When all else fails and the people are on to your gig … make you cause similar to fighting the Nazis. In typical fashion, Al Gore actually compared the battle against global warming to that of taking on Hitler and the Nazis. So let’s understand this, Al Gore just called people with a differing opinion on global warming with science to back up the facts “Nazi sympathizers”?

The former US Vice-President accused governments around the world of exploiting ignorance about the dangers of global warming to avoid taking difficult decisions.

Mr Gore admitted that it was difficult to persuade the public that the threat from climate change was as urgent as that from Hitler.

So this is what it ultimately comes to, name calling. When Gore could not pass through his false green agenda and people began to become informed on the issue of global warming, he resorts to using the Nazi card. One might say that Gore’s comparison is 180 opposite. People have become more skeptical of Gore’s global warming agenda the more that they have become informed. They are not hiding their heads in the sand and allowing Gore Global Warming appeasement. Hey Al, it’s called dissent.

It is the sign of a desperate man and the sign of a desperate cause. Former VP Al Gore actually had the audacity to compare mythical climate control to that of fighting Nazis. Hey Al, you might want to pick up a history book and learn a thing or two. I am sure the many people who fought against the Nazis appreciate this lame comparison.

Nothing like using absurd examples to make a point, but never let it be said Al Gore wasn’t prone to gross exaggeration to get the lemmings to follow along.

Blue Crab Boulevard makes two extremely valid and important points when it comes to the media and Al “green profiteer” Gore. The media is not doing their job in following the money and Gore has some serious conflicts of interest with the global warming agenda.

Where did I meet her again?

President Barack Obama will be soon appearing in a Southwest Airlines “Wanna Get Away” commercial after his latest gaffe. Is Biden rubbing off on Obama? Why does Obama feel the need to embellish on such non-starter stories? Next thing he will tell us is that he was named after Sir Edmund Hillary. Oh wait, that is another individual in his cabinet. Although, one or The One may want to remember where you actually met your wife.

Barack Obama can’t remember exactly how he met his wife, Michelle, the mother of his two daughters. But he at least remembers that they did meet, which is the thing that matters, right? So leave him alone!

Obama gave the commencement address at the New Economic School in Moscow earlier today, as one of the stops on his trip to Russia. Warming up the crowd, he ad-libbed this little gem:

I don’t know if anybody else will meet their future wife or husband in class like I did, but I’m sure that you’re all going to have wonderful careers.

How ever, as the Politico reports on the facts … this Obamaism is Not true!

But the truth is that the couple met not “in class” but at a law firm in Chicago, Sidley Austin, in 1989. Obama was a summer associate (essentially a legal intern) there and Robinson was an attorney completing her first year at the firm.

Barack Obama, The Chosen One is finding it much harder to be President than candidate Obama.

According to a recent Quinnipiac University Poll, Obama’s approval numbers have dropped considerably in Ohio. The all important Buckeye swing state now shows that The One’s approval ratings at at 49% – 44%. People elected Obama to see promised results. Not excuses that they misread the economy, spinning like they had incorrect data or blaming previous administrations.

Obama’s job as President is to be the Leader and the Commander & Chief. The buck stops with him and weather he inherited or made matters worse, it’s his gig now. It would appear Americans are already growing wearing and skeptical of Obama’s campaign promises. The fact of the matter is that Obama has not made any advances in the economy, job growth or foreign policy since he has been in office except to make apologies.

President Barack Obama gets a lackluster 49 - 44 percent approval rating in Ohio, considered by many to be the most important swing state in a presidential election, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today. This is President Obama’s lowest approval rating in any national or statewide Quinnipiac University poll since he was inaugurated and is down from 62 - 31 percent in a May 6 survey.

By a small 48 - 46 percent margin, voters disapprove of the way Obama is handling the economy, the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University poll finds. This is down from a 57 - 36 percent approval May 6. A total of 66 percent of Ohio voters are “somewhat dissatisfied” or “very dissatisfied” with the way things are going in the state, while 33 percent are “very satisfied” or “somewhat satisfied,” numbers that haven’t changed since Obama was elected.

The PoliGazette provides even more polling that shows Obama’s numbers are dropping nationwide.

During President Barack Obama’s much publicized trip to Moscow to push the reset button with relations with Russia, The Chosen One made yet another speaking gaffe. Obama referred to Prime Minister Vladimir Putin as President in error.

In a slip of the tongue, U.S. President Barack Obama described Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on Monday as president, echoing the widely held view that he remains Russia’s most powerful man.

Putin surrendered the presidency to protege Dmitry Medvedev last May to take the lesser post of prime minister, but most political analysts say Putin remains Russia’s ultimate decision maker.

Obama is supposed to be so much smarter than GWB, right? Or will Obama once again blame his mistake on GWB or his teleprompter? One can only sit back and imagine the media’s mockery of Bush if he had done this.

You would hear comments like ignorant, misinformed, stupid, uneducated cowboy and fool. The media headline would have read, “President Bush Doesn’t Know Putin’s Title” or would it be”GWB Doesn’t Know Didly”.  However, when Obama makes yet another verbal gaffe it is because he is tired or some pathetic excuse dreamed up by the apologists. Instead, the Great Orator makes another gaffe which all people tend to do, except when it’s a Democrat like Obama, it is swept under the rug.

Who says it’s difficult to find material for political humor for the Late Night Talk Shows on Obama?

When Barack Obama was elected President the American people gave him the benefit of the doubt and supported the newly elected Commander & Chief. They wanted to see this President succeed in hopes that he would provide an alternative change, one that no one could really define, to the situation with the US economy and foreign policy.

According to a recent Rasmussen poll, Barack Obama’s “Approval Rating Index” has dropped drastically from the date he took office. Since January 2009 Obama has gone from a +23 to a +2 in the strongly approve vs. Strongly disapprove index. Even the over all approval rating for Obama that was once +28 is now only at +9.

Like every knee jerk reaction in dealing with a problem, Americans did not think out the plan or the ramifications of what Obama “change” really meant. All they knew was that Barack Obama had a cute and catchy political slogan, “Change You Can Believe In.” However, since Obama took office, Americans have seen no positive change in the economy or in foreign policy in dealing with Iran, South Korea or Russia.

Even the media and Helen Thomas, the king makers, have turned on Obama recently stating that not even the Nixon White House tried to control the media like The Chosen One has.

With spending out of control and Obama and the Democrats talking about another stimulus package, universal healthcare and “cap & trade” taxes … how much more are the American people going to tolerate? They have already stated that they misread the economy, yet they continue to make matters worse by increasing the National debt to the heights never before seen. Unemployment has reached 9.5% and will soon be over 10% and still Obama and his minions misread the economy.

The people voted for change and many never gave it a thought what the result would be of the law of unintended consequences. It couldn’t possibly get worse could it? I guess we know the answer know don’t we!

According to police spokesman Don Aaron, Steve McNair was not with Sahel Kazemi when she bought the semiautomatic pistol that was found at the scene.It would appear that whoever sold the gun to Sahel Kazemi will be doing jail time.

The Nashville police confirmed Monday night that the handgun found in the apartment where Steve McNair was found shot to death Saturday was purchased Thursday by Sahel Kazemi, the 20-year-old woman who was found dead alongside him.

The police spokesman Don Aaron said that Kazemi bought the gun Thursday night from someone he did not name.

The handgun in question was retrieved from under the body of Sahel Kazemi at the crime scene. Steve McNair’s death has been officially ruled a homicide as he was shot two times in the head and two times in the chest. Police have yet to officially classify Kazemi’s death.

The gun was found under Kazemi’s body, but according to Aaron, tests to determine if gunshot residue was on Kazemi’s hands were not complete.

There are three questions that need to be answered to most likely call this tragic event a murder-suicide.

• 1. Is there gun powder residue on the hands of Sahel Kazemi?
• 2. What was the angle of entry of Sahel Kazemi gunshot to her head and here there powder burns and residue on her scalp?
• 3. When the friend entered the apartment/condo did he unlock the door from a lock in the door knob or a dead bolt?

UPDATE I: Three of the four shots wounds to McNair fired from a distance

It appears that two of the three questions above have been answered.

According to The Tennessean, three of the four gunshot wounds that killed former Tennessee Titan QB Steve McNair were fired from a distance of more than 3 feet away. One shot was to McNair’s temple was fired at close range as per the autopsy report.

Also, Sahel Kazemi’s gunshot wound to her head was a contact shot. This means that the gun was touching her head when fired. Even though police have not made it official, all signs are pointing to a murder suicide.“All the autopsy tells us is that her wound is potentially self inflicted,” Levy said. “In these cases, the cause of death is obvious. The manner of death a little trickier. We like to have as many factors as possible before we make a determination.”

Levy said while the case is certainly consistent with a murder-suicide scenario, there are several things that are atypical: men are usually the perpetrator, and there is typically a history of domestic violence in the relationship or mental issues in the shooter. So far, neither factor is present, Levy said.
