Nothing to talk about so I just want to share this lovely pic of our lil Freya. It’s her 1st fall… lets see if she’s going to like the cold weather just like her big sister Yuna.

I really do. I was born and raised in a country with tropical weather so I’m never really used to extremely cold weather. Last winter, I really had a hard time because everytime the temperature dropped to negative I felt like my bones hurt and I couldn’t even stand up. I just wanted to lay on the bed and hide under the blanket. This coming winter, I would try to convince my husband to buy me an electric blanket. A heated blanket will definitely help warm me up as I sleep. On the other hand, my husband is never affected by the cold weather. He hates summer and longs for winter. He always tells me that I’m over reacting and it’s not really that cold. Oh well, I’ll just try to convince him that winter here in Chicago is really too much for me.

I used to have a desktop that’s really old but works perfect. I originally bought it from a thrift store for about 30 bucks. The mother board was perfect so I thought I’ll just upgrade everything else and make it function like its new. So, I upgraded my graphics card to one of the better nvidias out there. I also upgraded the sound card, added a dvd burner and a larger hard drive. Although I had troubles finding a compatible memory for it, after searching online I finally found a site that sells all kinds of memory’s including obsolete ones. After about a couple of weeks upgrading my second hand obsolete PC was running like a brand new PC.

The hardest part about moving is packing and relocating all your things. Just the thought of moving excites you but on the other hand, packing your things takes away all the excitement. For me, the most convenient way to relocate your things is by using moving pods. You can rent these pods from most moving companies. Pods are metal, weatherproof portable storage containers that can fit about the size of a room. Whether you’re moving as soon as possible or indefinitely, you can rent a moving pod and start packing your things. It’s so convenient when you can organize and pack all your things ahead of time.

P.S. I’m a little MIA for couple of days coz I’m busy tutoring Yuna and putting some decorations in our little apartment. Naaliw ako sa kakapamili sa dollar store ng pang decor sa bahay. I also have a curtain project para sa mini room namin. Maggugupit-gupit ako ng old clothes para pagdugtungin at gawing kurtina. Just figure out the bamboo curtain parang ganun kaso tela lang yung gagamitin ko. Gusto ko sana yung bamboo kaso de ko alam san bibilhin kaya naisipan ko tela nalang gagamitin ko. Wish me luck sana wag tamarin LOL.

Sa mga friends ko nga pala na nagttxt or magttxt sorry temporary cut off na yung phone line namin the other pa kaya I cant receive any txt messages. Talk to you soon guys and to all my soon to be “Kumares” miss u all!

A lot of people have eye sight problem that’s why most people spend a lot of money for eyeglasses. Eyeglasses are very important to people with this kind of problem. While eyeglasses are very helpful, they can also cause inconvenience. Most eyeglasses are very fragile and if you spent a fortune for a pair of glasses you probably don’t want to horse around and accidentally drop them.

So, for those who are more active, instead of wearing eyeglasses maybe contact lenses would be more convenient. Between eyeglasses and contact lenses, I would much rather prefer the latter. For me, they’re more fashionable and comfortable to wear.

It’s really hard to go out and drive when you don’t have car insurance. I remember a family friend who always gave us a ride, everytime he saw cops on the streets he always panicked and tried to stay away as much as possible. He also got in an accident once. While parked, another car collided with his car. It was totally not his fault but since he didn’t have insurance that time he had to take off and not settle what happened. So, you’re really in a big disadvantage if you don’t have car insurance. It’s better to walk or to take a bus rather than to take a risk driving uninsured.

It’s really amazing what the internet brings to our lives. There’s so much things we can do on the internet. Probably, when internet was first introduced to the public, we most of the time used it for entertainment purposes like chatting, sending emails etc. But now, we can do so much stuff on the net like watch movies, do researches, complete important transactions and even online trading. In a few more years, I wonder what the future of the internet would be. It would probably blow our minds away.

Three weeks ago I had a chance to keep in touch with my old pals in my hometown. I found their profile in Friendster. After that, I chatted with one of them. Among the others, he’s the only one that I can talk to about anything. He told me about his biggest problem that he wants to get rid of. I knew his problem since we were just college students. His problem needs some medical attention. He needs to go to a drug treatment center. The only thing that stopping him is that he’s ashamed to seek help. He’s afraid of the consequences he might get if his fiance finds out about his secrets. I told him to not be afraid and I also told him that it would get worse if he won’t confess to his fiance. Oh well, I just hope that he would have strength to do all he needs to do. I mean, its time for him to get some drug treatment.
