That particular card and how I read your interpretation of it denotes patience. While I am not arguing with the advice or it being one of the rules, I see that card both of initiation and self-sacrifice of the self to the self. Think Odin on Yggdrasil….

I recently learned how important is to distinguish assumptions from facts. I knew the definitions, of course, but telling the difference in real world situations can be tricky.
The difference between an assumption and a fact: The definition of assumption is this – “A thing that is accepted as true or as certain to happen, without proof”.
When you assume something, NEVER share it with anyone. Don’t trust even your closest friends with an assumption – I don’t care if it is your spouse – unless you need their advice to get to the facts. When you act upon an assumption, the actions may result in disaster.
Keeping you mouth shut takes a lot less Energy than damage control. I tell you this from experience. Once something gets out and into the hands of other people, it morphs into a thing of its own and takes on its own Energy. Maybe the closest thing to a perpetual motion machine that there is. Its name is Rumor, and it is a Beast. Never pour water into the rumor mill. If you do, you are as much a part of the problem as anyone else. Even honest assumptions get twisted in the game of “telephone” that we all play. But, as I was taught recently, Life is NOT a dress rehearsal, nor is it a game.
The definition of fact can be boiled down to one word. Truth. So when you are sure you do have hard facts, the Truth, and you make the choice between acting or not (even doing nothing is an action) use reason and logic to help your Instinct decide on your course of action. They will not fail you. Good intentions are for the weak. Apply this wisdom – that was hard gained by me over the last month – and you will see results.
