Lately we expanded the FSCL crew and I am proud to present you the first of hopefully a lot of new coverage by our news team.

Stets was able to get a few words out of the management of current division 2 leading team Eurostars Utd:

FSCL: Who are the most influential players in your team?

EU: "Team" is the magic word here - the base for us is a great chemistry in the team and maximum cooperation level. We don't have one or a few stars leading the team and we don’t need them, supporting each other on the pitch is our key to success.


FSCL: What was the biggest challenge for you and your team in the 1st half of the season?

EU: At this moment we are confident about our top position in Div 2, and we start to think about the new season. Two challenges for us are most important: Firstly we need to build a team for 11aside, which means that we may need few more guys in EU. Second goal is to work with our tactics and style of play. Happy football led us to the top of div 2, but we are sure it won’t be enough in division 1.


FSCL: If you get promoted what teams do you think that will provide you the biggest challenge/ most enjoyable matches?

EU: First season in div 1 will be extremely tough for us. We will face top teams and top players - that will be very hard - especially in 11aside where EU players are lacking of experience. Our goal will be to avoid relegation and we believe its possible.


FSCL: Who do you consider to be the best players in the division?

EU: Because of modesty I won’t tell you any names from EU - everyone knows we are the best. From our rivals I should mention Boazona - Spirits striker, RWU's winger Sharkswat and... damn I need to say about our winger Iamcorny - he made great progress and I’m sure soon he will be one of best wingers in FS. Best defender from our opponents is Damjano from TS Wiselka - it's really hard to play against him.


FSCL: What do you think that can improve in the league?

EU: Attic has made awesome job with the league - its perfect. Only thing that must be done - FSCL needs to be played using the FS tournament system, which is already done.


FSCL: What are your main goals for the league?

EU: As I mentioned before - we are confident about promotion, so now we focus on building complete team for div 1 (including 11aside), improving our style of play and tactics and... maybe in the future creating an academy. Those things should give us solid factors to become an important part of the top FSCL league.

Tonight we had the first official FSCL Meeting in #fscl and came to some good results.

The following changes apply instantly, please make sure you are aware of them:

Teams dropping out
Rule 5.1 If a team drops out of the running season before all matches have been played, the responsible manager will be banned from playing or a managing in any FSCL competitions for the following time:
First occurence - 4 weeks
Second occurence - 3 months
Third occurence - permanently

Replacement of dropped out teams
Rule 4.6 A team can replace a dropped out team in the running season, if this is decided through a vote by the FSCL teams playing in the affected division. A replacement is only possible in the first half of the season. The replacement team has to replay all previous fixtures of the replaced team, the previous results are void.

Dropped out teams in season 2
The following teams have dropped out and their respective managers are banned for the time of 4 weeks from all FSCL competitions:

Vermillion F C
Dragon Stars FC
Total Football Club

Please be aware that using the affected managers as players in your match is a rule violation and will result in a 3-0 default win.

---

AFC Tigers replacing VFC in 1130 League
Decided through a vote on the meeting, Tigers will replace the disbanded team Vermillion FC in the 1130 Division 1.
All VFC results are void and have to be replayed with Tigers. BetOn results stay.

All above rule changes apply both to the 1130 and the 730 league.

Former manager Attic will be stepping back from his leader position due to personal reasons, as well as former Co-Manager Cellz.
They will be replaced by SCG member and former SC Viper Manager
Erdiak as Manager and Kai as Co-Manager.

As a consequence Noiss will be replacing Erdiak as the new SC Viper manager.

Erdiak has done a great job leading SC Viper and we are confident that he will proceed his good work in his new position. Please contact him or Kai in any matters concerning SCG from now on.

FSCL Season 2 - 730 Division 3 - NEWS

As Caketaker announcend on the forums, are Total Football Club withdrawing from FSCL Season 2

All upcoming matches will be decided by 3:0 autowin.
All FSCL 730 Div3 Managers, claim for autowin!!!

Furthermore will every Player who took part of any match for TFC be banned from FSCL for the rest of this season and season 3.

Just to clarify:

Rule 1.7: If one team is unable to meet a deadline multiple times, all players that were in the squad at the start of the event will be excluded from this and the next FSCL competition.

In this case this can be a second FSCL Cup or FSCL Season 3, the time schedule for this is not fixed yet.


I read many people who thought this is a harsh punishment, and I agree. But unfortunately it's the only way to get a bit of loyality and stability into the PMC scene, which is needed to run a proper league. If we had something like a ingame contract system, things would be different, but as everybody is free now to switch clubs freely, disband teams and create new ones every day, a rule is needed to prevent extreme fluctuation between PMCs.

The first week of Season 2 just ended (and it was an amazing week of FS), and already the Season 2 of FSCL has to go into a break.

All matches are cancelled for one week for everybody to get used to the new patch.

All deadlines will be extended as well, of course.

This is necessary as the new patch brings major changes to the gameplay section. So please use the time to get familiar with the new gameplay and schedule your matches for one week later.

The patch has been announced tomorrow morning and apparently CS was unable to give me any headsup as I asked them to. I am sorry for doing this on such short notice.

The FS Champions League is growing and regarding this progress I decided to provide a new home for the league.

The first FSCL Cup comes to a big final! Two teams have made it through the group stage, the quarter finals and the semi finals to prove they are the best team around.
Now the day of truth is here, the big finals kick off today.
