The overall aim of the NFP is to help alleviate qualitative and quantitative shortages of skilled manpower within a wide range of governmental, private and non-governmental organisations. This is done by offering fellowships to mid-career professionals to improve the capacity of their employing organisations. The fellowship is a supplement to the candidate’s salary and a contribution towards the expenses related to the course or study programme. NFP sub-programmes The NFP offers you three sub-programmes to choose from: Master's degree programmesFellowships are available for a selected number of master’s degree programmes. These programmes have a duration of between 12 and 24 months. A master’s degree programme leads to a Dutch master's degree.You can apply for an NFP Master's degree fellowship for one of the master's degree&amp;nbsp;programmes&amp;nbsp;listed on the NFP course list 2012-2013.Download the NFP brochure including the course list&amp;nbsp;(1.5 MB) Short coursesFellowships are available for a selected number of Short courses offered by Dutch institutions that provide professional training at post-secondary level. Description This scholarship is specifically designed to ensure the recipient is at the University of Aberdeen and graduates in the years where a number of key anniversaries relating to these historic links will be commemorated: * 4 April 2013 - the 200th of Forbes’ birth. * 31 May 2013 - the 110th of Morrison’s death. * 3 February 2013 - the 175th of Forbes holding the first Presbyterian service in Melbourne. * 3 February 2014 - the 185th of Morrison’s birth. * June 2016 - the 140th of Morrison receiving a Dr of Law from the University of Aberdeen and the 160th of Morrison’s appointment as Headmaster (Scotch College). * 12 August 2016 - the 165th of Forbes’ death. * 2016 - the 165th of the founding of the Scotch College. The scholarship will cover full tuition fees for the duration of the degree plus a contribution towards living expenses of £6000 per year (c. They will also receive a maintenance stipend of £8,000 per year (to be received upon arrival at Cardiff University). One of the three available scholarships will be awarded specifically to a student studying on Cardiff University’s one-year International Foundation Programme, and will include a fee waiver for the cost of the International Foundation Programme, as well as the entire undergraduate degree (up to a maximum of £15,000 each year). This scholarship will also include the maintenance stipend of of £8,000 per year (to be received upon arrival at Cardiff University). The closing date for applications is 31 March 2012 for the academic year 2012/2013 (proposed starting date is 1 July 2012). The scholarships are offered annually. The final selection and announcement of the scholarship awards by the Baden-Wuerttemberg Foundation will be made in June 2012. The application for the scholarship requires a written application, but you can scan and e-mail all documents. The university does not send out rejection letters. The applications forms will not be returned and we ask that you send us only copies of all documents. Additionally, applicants have to log in and upload their documents in the new portal for the Baden-Wuerttemberg Scholarship. Students will receive a bursary of 1.120€ for expenses plus the reimbursement of travel expenses. Each student will be matched with a specific laboratory based on the student’s interest and background. The student will be working under the supervision of the group/unit leader or a member of the research group. The participants will attend a series of seminars given by faculty members and researchers from the CNIO. Students will be required to present the results of their summer projects in a special session to be held at the end of the programme. Fellowships will be awarded on a competitive basis taking into consideration the student’s academic record and their letters of motivation. Morgan Stanley Japan will award two $7,500 scholarships to US students who who are studying in Japan for the academic year 2012-2013. Eligible students include juniors and seniors at US universities with an interest in policy, economics, or international finance who have been accepted for study in Japan. Co-sponsors of the scholarships are the US-Japan Bridging Foundation and the American Association of Teachers of Japanese, which will coordinate the collection of applications and the initial selection process. The final selection of scholarship recipients will be made by Morgan Stanley management in Tokyo. To compete for the Morgan Stanley Japan scholarships, students must comply with the following procedure: Submit a complete application for the Bridging Scholarship to the Bridging Project Clearinghouse (AATJ, UCB 366, 1424 Broadway, University of Colorado, Boulder, CO 80309-0366). In order to assist foreign countries in training national employees, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation allocates public scholarships for the academic year 2012/2013 to allow foreign citizens and Russians living abroad to study at federal state higher professional education institutions at the expense of federal budget allocations in bachelor, specialist, master degree and post-graduate (aspitantura, internatura, ordinatura or doctorantura) programs as well as additional professional education programs (internship or professional development). The sending party presents for each recommended candidate a set of documents based on which a decision is made by the interagency working group The obligatory set of documents includes: 1. Primary application form of the candidate filled in the interactive mode in order to accelerate the preliminary processing procedure carried out by the hosting educational institutions. 2. Candidate's application form with a color photograph attached. 3. Copy of the passport (easy readable pages with basic data for issuing an invitation; passport must be valid at least 18 months after the start date of the entry visa for study purposes). 4. Copy of the birth certificate with translation into Russian. 5. Copy of medical certificate proving the absence of medical contradictions for study issued by an official health-care authority of the candidate's country of residence. 6. Copy of the medical certificate proving that the candidate does not have HIV and AIDS issued by an official health-care authority of the candidate's country of residence. 7. Copy of the document on education with transcript of the courses taken and the (final) examination notes (points) in them. Hereby please consider the following. For enrollment into bachelor or specialist degree programs a document on education needs to be provided that is recognized in the Russian Federation as state document on secondary (full) general education or on secondary vocational education. For enrollment into master degree programs a document needs to be provided that is recognized in the Russian Federation as a bachelor diploma (at least 4 years of study) or a specialist diploma (at least 5 years of study). For study in the post-graduate programs (aspirantura, internatura, ordinatura) a document needs to be provided that is recognized in the Russian Federation as a specialist diploma (at least 5 years) or a master diploma (at least 2 years after a 4-year bachelor study). Only persons having graduated from Russian higher educational institutions are admitted to study in ordinatura. To be enrolled for a doctorantura program a document on education needs to be provided that is recognized as certificate of the Russian Federation on the academic degree of a candidate of sciences. 8. For study in postgraduate education programs the candidate additionally needs to provide: for aspirantura (internatura, ordinatura) programs - an essay on the topic of the future research in Russian (1-2 printed pages) and the list of scientific publications is relevant; for doctorantura programs - an essay on the topic of the future research in Russian and the list of scientific publications. Advantage is given to candidates with higher notes (points) in the major subjects of the chosen program. The copies of all documents should have a duly certified translation into Russian. The candidates' sets of documents are sent by the sending party to the Department for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation by May 15, 2012 with an official cover letter of the national ministry or Russian embassy and the list of candidates. The Ministry of Education, Lifelong Learning and Religious Affairs has announced scholarships for foreign citizens of 27 countries. Greek Government Scholarships are open to citizens of the following countries: Azerbaijan, Albania, Armenia, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Estonia, Ireland, Israel, Croatia, Cyprus, Latvia, Luxembourg, Mexico, Norway, Netherlands, Hungary, Ukraine, Peru, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Syria, Turkey and Czech Republic. Financial allowances to undergraduate and postgraduate students/scholars a) Monthly allowance: • 400€, for scholarship holders carrying out undergraduate studies and • 450€, for scholarship holders carrying out postgraduate studies or research. b) One-off allowance for settlement expenses: • 500€, for those who shall settle in Athens and • 550€, for those who shall settle in the province. The scholarship holders whose scholarship is being renewed are not entitled to this amount. c) One-off amount of 150€ annually for covering transportation expenses within the country for postgraduate students or researchers who are obliged to move from their place of residence, in order to carry out the research program approved by our Office and as long as there is a justified proposal by their supervisor. d) Exemption from tuition fees only for undergraduate studies. e) It is clarified that scholarship holders for postgraduate studies or research who wish to follow the Greek language courses as well, shall not be exempted from tuition fees. Additionally, they should select the postgraduate programs offered without tuition fees from the list they will find at www.minedu.gov.gr under the indication "State Budget". In case their choice is not included in the free programs they should cover tuition fees on their own. f) Free medical treatment in case of an emergency, only in Public Hospitals. Scholarship Terms 1. In General Interested persons should address the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Ministry of Education of their country of origin- in very few cases the Greek embassy in their country- which are competent for collecting the applications, selecting the proposed candidates and forwarding the files to our Office. The proposals made by each country’s competent authorities, along with the files of the proposed candidates should arrive to our Office no later than April 30th 2012. However, it is noted that each country shall determine by itself the closing dates for application submission which do not coincide to the final closing date of file consignment to Greece and interested persons should address the services of their own country. All available information regarding the initial submission service abroad can be found to the Ministry's website under scholarships to foreign nationals within the framework of Bilateral Educational Programs. Our Office shall notify the competent authorities with the scholarship approval decision for the proposed persons no later than May 31st 2012 for summer seminars and no later than June 31st 2012 for undergraduate and postgraduate studies (on the condition that candidates’ files are complete). Scholarship holders who have been accepted should immediately upon their arrival in Greece present themselves to our Office in order for their scholarship to commence, and- if they reside in the province- they should inform about their arrival, their address and their telephone number in Greece.
