Always use unique, strong passphrases for each website/login you need

Remember, hackers who steal your password from one website try to use it on many others.

For example, if you visit 15 sites where you must login, you should have 15 different passwords. All of those 15 different passphrases should be at least 22-characters long, with numbers, letters, punctuation, and if possible, special characters.

Here are two examples of 22-character passphrases that are strong – but do not use these passphrases since they are displayed on the Internet.  They are:

1. tpG8iN)hY<b[kT_yLjyhL4  [without special characters]
2. R?bpb{zzY5^;j[I3+%iQ_p  [with special characters]

A free password utility called KeePass may be used to generate strong and unique passwords and keeps track of all of them so you don’t have try try to remember them or write them on sticky notes. KeePass will even do auto-logins for you, and it may be found at http://www.keepass.info/.

Be sure to use a good anti-virus tool, a good cookie-management tool, and a good spyware detection and removal tool.

Some types of viruses track what you’re typing without you being aware of it. Some cookies even store your password — in plain text.

All the politicking, grandstanding, and ass-kissing in Washington during the Constitutionally-mandated State of the Union has sickened me. I simply can’t watch it because it nauseated me so much after three minutes.

In lieu of listening to Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. attempting to blame Bush for things more than three years into his own term as president, and then trying to divert attention by the mention of Osama bin Laden, I opted to write to my elected officials, with Rep. Allyson Y. Schwartz, a democrat, as the first on my hit list for my troubling question of the day.

I wrote, asking about the United States’ lack of federal budget for nearly three years. The email read:

It’s been almost three years that the U.S. Government has had
a Federal budget. I want to know:
           A) When will a budget be finally approved; or
           B) When will you introduce federal legislation
    allowing LAWFUL AND LEGAL U.S. CITIZENS
    to live beyond there means, play games with
    non-existent funds, and write checks and obtain
    credit, while maintaining a AA credit rating,
    without penalty or criminal prosecution?
