The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) has found numerous early galaxies and black holes that are too big and complex for their age. Cosmologists are rethinking many long standing models of the early universe. JWST is proving to be a monumental success and a testament to public funding for science and exploration.

SpaceX catches the Starship booster!

SpaceX achieved another historic milestone today with Starship’s 5th test flight by returning the massive booster back to the launch site and catching it in the arms of their launch tower “mechazilla.” This is an astounding achievement, and they nailed it on the first attempt.

One of Charlie’s summer projects is his band with fellow Bloomington Jefferson and Kennedy alumni. Here is their performance at Justice Jam, a benefit concert and silent auction to raise money to fight human trafficking. Quiet Hours was voted favorite band of the concert, providing an opportunity to play again at the Anoka County Fair in July.

Sam DeToffol plays Tevye the milkman, father of five daughters and husband of Golde, in Bloomington Jefferson Theatre Company’s outstanding production of Fiddler on the Roof. This talented and dedicated cast performs the show at Jefferson High School from April 18 to 28, 2024.

Sam was honored to receive the Hennepin Theatre Trust Spotlight Education award for “Outstanding Performance in a Leading Role” as Tevye.
