Edinburgh audiences were the first in the UK to see “WALL-E”, “Toy Story 3”, “Ratatouille” and “Brave” and EIFF are delighted to continue their relationship with Disney•Pixar.

Ever since college-bound Mike Wazowski (voice of Billy Crystal) was a little monster, he has dreamed of becoming a Scarer—and he knows better than anyone that the best Scarers come from Monsters University (MU). But during his first semester at MU, Mike’s plans are derailed when he crosses paths with hotshot James P. Sullivan, “Sulley” (voice of John Goodman), a natural-born Scarer. The pair’s out-of-control competitive spirit gets them both kicked out of the University’s elite Scare Program. To make matters worse, they realise they will have to work together, along with an odd bunch of misfit monsters, if they ever hope to make things right.

Screaming with laughter and oozing with heart, Disney•Pixar’s “Monsters University” is directed by Dan Scanlon (“Cars,” “Mater and the Ghostlight,” “Tracy”).

Tickets are £3 per pupil, teachers free, and can be booked by contacting the EIFF Education Team (Nicola or Breige) on 0131 228 6382 or by emailing education@cmi-scotland.co.uk.

An exciting, new interactive performance for younger primary school audiences ages six and upwards.

The Day I Swapped My Dad for Two Goldfish is a humorous, theatrical adventure, which is a little bit about being a sibling, and a little bit about being a genius. It is a new stage adaptation of the popular children’s picture-book by bestselling author and illustrator, Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean.

Tom and his little sister think Dad is so boring that they swap him for two goldfish! When Mum finds out, she’s not best pleased and Tom and his little sister have to ’GO GET DAD BACK!’ Pupils and their teachers are invited to help Tom and his sister on their mission to get Dad back.

Unfortunately though, it’s not that simple. Nathan doesn’t have Dad any more. He swapped him for Vashti’s electric guitar. And Vashti swapped Dad, with Blinky, for a Gorilla mask. And Blinky swapped Dad, with Patti, for Galveston the rabbit. And Patti lives a very, very long way away.

D.
What other PE teachers had to say…

“Fantastic course, I feel much more confident and know that YDance are there to support”
Amy Allison, Bathgate, 3rd September 2012

“I am not a dancer at all but I was comfortable throughout both days – very enjoyable.”
Katy Cook, Bannerman High School, 3rd September 2012

“These courses are amazing! Staff so nice and helpful”
Maggie Brown, Knox Academy, 4th September 2012

“Very good course, Yvonne and laura were really patient and helped explain all elements of the course. Thank you!”
Siobhan McConville, Peebles High School, 4th September 2012

”A lot of focus and correct technique which is exactly what I needed. Other courses I have attended in dance just teach a dance and don’t focus on the technique. Brilliant course, great tutors”
Lindy Moonie, Broxburn Academy, 4th September 2012

“Again, fab session, well informed, great content, technique, choreographed dance. Thanks – great inspiration”
