The Monthly RAK Queen

Who doesn’t want to be a queen for a month??

This is how this will work. You sign up and add your name to the “hat”.

We will begin with pulling a name .She will be our monthly Queen…with that she will be receiving the Royal treasure we all send her for one (1) month. You can send several small things over the months time or A box (big envelope) of treasures all at once. However you choose to do it. She (the current queen (and one of the admins) will keep track of all the names of those that send to her.

The current Queen at month’s end will choose a name from those that sent to her and the will pick a new queen. (she cannot be queen again for at least 2 months rotation).

Each month will start a new round and anyone can join in at any time. However lets say you join the list in the middle of the month you will NOT be eligible to be queen the next month. You will have to wait a month.

THIS GAME TAKE A FULL COMMITMENT!!!!!! You cannot sign up become queen and quit. This is not fair to those that wait to hopefully be picked as queen. Your MUST SEND to be sent to.!!!! Plain and simple…there is no $$$ amount but fair is fair..You should send what you want to receive.

The queen will have to keep in contact with the list as well as the admin .So that we know who she received from and so forth and so on.

All these ladies have sign on to spoil our queen for that month. Lets say jenny is our queen for July.She receives from Deborah Susan Ashley and Melissa. But Cathie and Linda didn’t send for whatever reason.

They Cathie and Linda can NOT be in next month queen drawing. So they can wait till the August queen is picked send to her and they will be eligible for Septembers pick. You have to send to the current queen to be in for the next months queen pick.

This will go from the 1 st of the month to the 30th. NO over hang dates. No extra time. We will all have a month to get a gift to our queen so no excuses are needed.

On a side note this is a great way to pass something on we might have bought and didn’t use. Or received from a RAK and didn’t use.Or Make some goodies.

For my White on white with a hint of color, I embossed a piece of scrap paper.

I used my embossing die cut from magnia doodle for the heart vine, and a die cut of the butterfly.

I also added a string of pearls and Pink Bridal Vail .

Ive made a few different items that i want to share with you :-)

Ive used my RRR of the month :-) which i just love this months PINKS WOWzERS is all i can say ,
I added a circle with a stamped MOTHER , The stamp is from one of my favorite stamp creators. www.k.andrewsdesigns.com
I used clear Valium paper stamps with white butterfly's over some pink Bazzill basics paper

This is Project the Mom and bear were made using lshd designs, This is a start of a album .

And for my last project to share ive made a Mothers day card using scraptastical keations
flowers collection ..

I'm sharing a card that i made using my stamps of life stamps, I used bubblegum4 me & candy2share stamp sets ..
I stamped my gum machine a few times and then cut out the top and bottom. cut the gum and added 3d dots, i added a stickpin and 5 cents :-)

Yes its me :-) Ive missed crafting and posting, But i finally got into my craft room and created a few cards to share with you all .. My First card is a card that i made for a RAK friend.

Christmas Decorations

Hello Friends,

Its almost Christmas and I've taken the time this year to decorate my house , I made a few items that were fairly easy to make and i wanted to share my ideas..

I made this wreath with vines and dried cranberry's added a large handmade bow

This photo isn't the greatest but my vine wreath came out adorable, i again used tree vines and then some hand made candy canes and a little snowman with a bow..

This is where my pots normally hang, I decorated the whole thing this year, added a wreath with cranberries and hanging bows. I added a few small decorated trees. I also decorated my lighted jar. It looks fabulous at night.

This is so simple and just adorable its my next project

For this is just painted some tree limbs and added again cranberries and leaves with lights ..

This is just a old butter churn that i added bulbs and lights with a bit of ribbon to..

I hope that your all able to enjoy the spirt of Christmas, I know its a hard time of the year for most. The kids all want something that's expensive and gets more costly as they get older. I think that Christmas shouldn't be about the gift giving and should just be about family. This we need to bring back. I hope that your all able to get with family this year and just be thankful that you have each other.

Hello My Crafty Friends,

Its been so super long since Ive been able to sit in my craft room and play around, But i did :-) and this is what i made.

Its a Cookie Cutter wreath Ive used just a bunch of small Christmas cookie cutters and glued them into a circle. Then added a bunch of my RRR from really reasonable ribbon. My favorite ribbon store , I handmade the bow and added a white bird with a few presents that i found in my Christmas stuff.

Im thinking of selling these on my eBay and or esty page .. what do YOU think ?

Would you buy them ? Im thinking they would make a super cute Christmas gift for $ 15.00

Its that time of the year that we all want to help a family in need and i know that their are so many other there this year. But year after year i collect donations for { Davids House } whats David's house you ask , ...

Well its is the dream of a young boy named David Cyr, who passed away from leukemia in 1984 at the age of five. For three and a half years, David was treated at Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital in Hanover, NH. Visiting David during his hospitalizations was easy for his parents who lived only 20 minutes away. But during this time his family met others who didn't have that option; instead they slept in their cars, in the waiting room, or in a chair at bedside to be close to their child. When David's doctor told the Cyrs that David had just months to live, his father, Dick, asked the doctor, "Why isn't there a place for families like ours to stay?" The doctor told him there had been talk about a house in this area, but nothing had ever come of it. Dick replied, "We're going to build a place, and we're going to call it David's House." One week after David passed away, his parents and their friends began raising funds for David's House. The first money was David's own: $300.78 in birthday money and his dad's spare change that David had stashed away throughout the house. Whenever Dick asked him what he was saving for, David always replied, "For a special reason, Dad." That special reason has now served over 10,000 families from around the world!

David's House provides a home-away-from-home and support for families with children receiving treatment through Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.

Hello Sisters and Friends ,

The Rak Secret Sisters have been choosen and im here to remind you ladies of the very simple rules..

This is our second pairing for Secret Sisters in the RAK Group, and we would like it to be a success!
While the majority enjoyed sending & receiving last time, there were quite a few that ended up feeling ignored or unappreciated, so we want this time around to be FUN for EVERYONE! With that being said, we are implementing a few rules.......

1. You must send your SS a "Hello" card within the first 2 weeks. Anyone that does not send something to their SS during this time, will be removed.

2. You are to be in contact (whether by snail mail, email, text messages) with your Sister on a regular basis. If you fail to acknowledge your SS on her birthday, holiday, or other special day, you will be removed.

3. You all must let Deb or myself (Colleen), know if you have not received anything or heard from your secret sister. We can't fix the problem if we don't know about it.

4. When you receive something from your SS, acknowledge it in the Rak group on facebook! This lets your SS know it arrived and also let's us know that you received something too :) Plus, everyone likes to see what everyone else gets!! :)

So lets have fun and Make Sisters for life ..

Hello Sisters and My crafty friends ,

This is where you will sign up to be added to the secret Rak Sister Group. The RULES are simple send your sister a handmade item on birthdays, Holidays , Anniversary's, ANY DAY ..ect Its easy
Make a RSS email addy and send your RSS a secret message or text message saying "just thinking of you" Its FREE and will make your sisters day. :~)

You will be Required to send your sister a HEY I'm your sister CARD within the first two weeks of getting your sister , If you do not send your sister a card with-in those first two weeks you WILL be REMOVED and a new sister will be provided .. Same goes with holidays and birthdays.. You will be provided with your sisters address and dates of specials days. You will also be REQUIRED to let your sister know that you received a card or message with-in the Rak group simply saying "THANKS" and yes i received something..

When sending your Sister a secret Package you will sign the RETURN address with your secret Rak sisters mailing address ..

Please remember to sign your secret SISTERS card or what ever your sending { RSS }

So lets make SISTERS for life .. Sign up now ! Sisters will be sent out by PM'S on November 1St

Hello my crafty friends , I wanted to update you all on my back surgery. The surgery went well i ended up with 2 rods in my back to fuse to a good disk & took out the bad ones. I'm in a whole lot of pain, but it's surgery pain and not disk pain sO I'm praying for this surgery to have taken away my back pain. It's hard to tell right now if it worked. Please take a moment to pray for a speedy recovery for me. I'm home now and thank god for my family and my wonderful husband that's taking care of my every need and wants, poor guy will be Praying it's a fast recovery. So that it folks I'm very groggy and have trouble keeping my eyes open this last week. Even though I needed lots of rest I hate being bed ridden.
