Celebrity Update Dwayne Johnson is conformed to play as RoadBlock in Jon Chu‘s film, now officially called G.I. Joe: Cobra Strikes.

He recently confirmed it on his Twitter page about this.

G.I. Joe: Cobra Strikes is scheduled for release August 10, 2012 and is rumored to also return Lee Byung-hun (Storm Shadow), Ray Park (Snake Eyes) and Channing Tatum (Duke).

Ed Westwick to play as Tybalt in Romeo And Juliet?

Celebrity Update Ed Westwick is in final negotiation to play the role of Tybalt in an upcoming film remake of Romeo and Juliet. Gossip Girl star will play the hot tempered who is the cousin of Juliet in the story and Romeo’s rival.

Romeo + Juliet way back 1996 was played by Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes set in a modern time. This time the role of Romeo is not yet been announced on who will play but Hailee Steinfeld will play as Juliet.

Production is set to begin this summer in Italy.

Jeremy Renner officially as Jason Bourne

Celebrity Update Jeremy Renner has been formally offered the lead role in the Tony Gilroy-directed The Bourne Legacy.

Renner, who has been nominated for Oscars the past two years for his work in The Hurt Locker and The Town, is expected to sign on quickly to play a new character in the spinoff film that begins production in September.

Renner will play an operative from a covert government program that is even more dangerous than the Treadstone brainwashing program that hatched Jason Bourne.

Sandra Bullock donates $1 Million for Japan Relief

Celebrity Update award winning actress Sandra Bullock just donated $1 Million to the American Red Cross this week to help with earthquake and tsunami relief efforts in Japan.

“This contribution is vitally important as the Red Cross works to provide critical assistance and essential relief items in this time of urgent need for so many people in Japan,” the relief organization said.

Everything is seem to be amazing with this actress, talent and the heart for those who needs, she also donated when Haiti was struck with a disaster a year ago. For sure more people will really admire her.

USA Today has published this first official photo of Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson in Fast Five, the fifth installment of the “Fast and Furious” franchise hitting conventional and IMAX theaters on April 29. Stay tuned for the first trailer, launching Tuesday, December 14 at 12 noon Pacific Time.

The new movie is directed by Justin Lin (Fast and Furious, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift) and is scheduled to hit theaters on April 29th, 2011.

Kate Beckinsale is back for Underworld 4

Celebrity Update Kate Beckinsale officially will be reprising her role as the character Selene, Kate Beckinsale will take the lead in Screen Gems and Lakeshore Entertainment’s fourth installment of the Underworld franchise. evisiting the character for the third time after playing the gorgeous Death Dealer in the original Underworld and Underworld: Evolution. Beckinsale’s character was only seen in flashbacks in Underworld: Rise of the Lycans which starred Rhona Mitra.

Underworld 4 is penned by John Hlavin with revisions with J. Michael Straczynski will be produced by Lakeshore Entertainment’s Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi, and Len Wiseman.

A director is currently being sought out for the project as well as an actress to take the role of Selene’s daughter, which means the film will be a sequel to Underworld 3: The Rise of The Lycans.

Production is set to start in March of 2011 in Vancouver.
