So some kids break into a house, trash the place, I mean TRASH IT, using hammers and paint and just rip the place up. The home owner catches them and locks them in a closet until the police arrive and HE IS ARRESTED. The parents of the poor little dears claim he threatened them with the hammer they used to cause all the damage and yelled at them and that they are traumatized.

I could give less than 2 shits if they are traumatized. They were perfectly able to destroy this mans house. They can handle being thrown in a frickin' closet for the few minutes it took for the police to arrive.

A sharply divided Supreme Court on Monday said police can routinely take DNA from people they arrest, equating a DNA cheek swab to other common jailhouse procedures like fingerprinting.

"Taking and analyzing a cheek swab of the arrestee DNA is, like fingerprinting and photographing, a legitimate police booking procedure that is reasonable under the Fourth Amendment," Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote for the court's five-justice majority.

But the four dissenting justices said that the court was allowing a major change in police powers.

"Make no mistake about it: because of today's decision, your DNA can be taken and entered into a national database if you are ever arrested, rightly or wrongly, and for whatever reason," conservative Justice Antonin Scalia said in a sharp dissent which he read aloud in the courtroom.

Attorney General Eric Holder's plans to sit down with media representatives to discuss guidelines for handling investigations into leaks to the news media have run into trouble.

The Associated Press issued a statement Wednesday objecting to plans for the meetings to be off the record. "If it is not on the record, AP will not attend and instead will offer our views on how the regulations should be updated in an open letter," said Erin Madigan White, the AP's media relations manager.

The New York Times is taking the same position. "It isn't appropriate for us to attend an off-the-record meeting with the attorney general," executive editor Jill Abramson said in a statement.

CNN and Huff-Po also decline to meet OTR with scumbag Holder.
