The Visual Story Network is a coalition of missional and creative Christians, seeking to (1) advocate for the need for visual story, (2) provide opportunities to connect and collaborate, (3) equip God’s people to create and use visual story, and (4) promote best practices and products.

How can I keep up to date with changes on this website?

There are several ways to do this:

Email Updates - To receive website updates by email, scroll down to the 'Subscribe' block on the right of the Scripture Engagement home page. Enter your email address and click the Subscribe button. You will receive an email asking you to confirm this.

RSS Feed - To subscribe to the RSS feed for the site, here is the feed address. You can use this to get updates in feed readers such as Google Reader.

Facebook - Become a fan of Scripture Engagement on Facebook and you will receive updates of new posts on your Facebook home page.

Beine examines how people’s view of holy writ influences their understanding and use of translated sacred writings. He looks particularly at the main beliefs about holy writ among the major world religions of Asia—Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism—comparing them with the Christian view. Further, he relates a case study of the Newar people of Nepal.

The initiative brings together nearly a hundred agencies to raise the level of biblical literacy across the UK, through the following four tracks:

This workshop focused on equipping believers to resist those pressures toward practices that conflict with their allegiance to God, and to overcome the internal tensions created so they might respond in ways that are scripturally grounded while still being culturally meaningful.
