In line with my support to 60 earth Hour which will happen on March 28, 2009 (8:30pm - 9:30pm - Philippine time), I have here some facts regarding global warming which comes from national geographic:

Average temperatures have climbed 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit (0.8 degree Celsius) around the world since 1880, much of this in recent decades, according to NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies.
The rate of warming is increasing. The 20th century's last two decades were the hottest in 400 years and possibly the warmest for several millennia, according to a number of climate studies. And the United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) reports that 11 of the past 12 years are among the dozen warmest since 1850.
The Arctic is feeling the effects the most. Average temperatures in Alaska, western Canada, and eastern Russia have risen at twice the global average, according to the multinational Arctic Climate Impact Assessment report compiled between 2000 and 2004.

The effect of global warming is alarming, if we are not going to take any actions regarding this matter it could be too late not only for us but for the next generation. Process of recovery from this effect will takes time, some says that the period for earth to recover is 20x slower than the speed of destruction caused by Global warming. Let us support 60 EARTH HOUR ... let us support planet EARTH.

For the first time in history, people of all ages, nationalities, race and background have the opportunity to use their light switch as their vote – Switching off your lights is a vote for Earth, or leaving them on is a vote for global warming. WWF are urging the world to VOTE EARTH and reach the target of 1 billion votes, which will be presented to world leaders at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009.

I just wanna share with you guys some of the things I used in maintaining my client pc on my internet cafe. Since I am operating 10 hours a day and 7 days a week day it is needed to perform maintenance at least once a month to prolong the life of the unit. So here it is:

Disc Defragmentation. Fragmentation occurs when the operating system breaks files into pieces of packets. Defragmentation allows you to organize the files inside your physical drives, it is the process of scanning the files and rejoining the split packets back into one.
Proper cleaning of unit. Basically when cleaning your pc's hardware make sure to unplug first the cord from the outlet and dry your hands. I usually clean the parts by using a paint brush and a pencil eraser, gently brush the the motherboard with the brush until all dirts remove. Use eraser in cleaning the TIP of any removable parts (Memory, VC, SC) inside the unit, make sure to do it gently.
Update your spy and adware program removal. I use Spybot search and Destroy, for me it is the best spy and adware removal program and it's FREE.

To highs and lows of our life ... We are ONE!
I would like to dedicate this article on my relatives who helps my mom this past election. The sacrifice they made to assist my mom in her door to door campaign, the hardship they did in giving flyers and by taking all the criticism from other people. But all of it was paid off and unexpectedly my mom gets the second place. Thank God.

I believe that God provide instrument to help us especially on those times that we are down. I believe that God gave our family the relatives that we have right now whom who care and love us very much. He used them as an instrument in helping my mom during the election period. Thank you God … And thanks to all the people who support and assist us.

I discover that not all people are true despite the gratitude and
help you render to them they can turn back on you

Lately I found out that some people whom you loved and cared so much will turn out against and say libelous words to you. So unfair because when they need assistance back then my family is always open and ready to help them regardless of what aspect would that be. But this last Barangay election one of my relative run as Barangay councilor and declare competition with my mom. Even though my mom asked her gently to stop running and instead wait for her term to end, she refuses and says that she is ENVY on what mom is receiving as a councilor. How can she do this to us? But my mom believe that all of us has the right to dream and the right to fulfill it that is why just let her do what she likes and explain the scenario to me. Ok, for me it would be ok for her to run because in the first place I believe that my mom will get a vote on those people whom she cared and helped during her term.

During the campaign period I was disappointed and busted on their campaign tactics. From what I heard from other people my Tita says negative things about my mom which is not true. It hurts me a lot about the things that they say about my mom because honestly she didn’t say a word against them or about them, during public gathering and speech what she says to the people is her achievements, works and her dream to our Barangay. For me their act was so wrong and to think that my mom is also their relative how come they do that to us. It is easy for them to turn back on my family, why? Envy? I can’t believe it. I am very angry on what they did and at that point of time my respect to them was gone.

They never see the thing that my mom gave to them and I am not asking for something in return what I want is respect. We are doing nothing bad for them to back fight on us so if they can’t treat us as their relative well they can treat us as people. But I believe that everything was lost: respect and connection, honestly speaking as of now I am very angry on them and the reason why there is still little respect on me for them is because of my Tito who passed away. Hopefully everything will be settled in God’s time.

I am planning to establish an internet cafe here in our area to earn extra income. I already plot the things that we need and even research the best way and techniques to build an internet cafe. When it seems that everything is quite ready and good enough reality hits me I don’t have enough money to build it, base on my computation I need P400,000.00 to start the business, geeehhhh!!! big money. What sad me a lot is that no one agree or support my plan and they think it is just a waste of time and effort.

Time-of-use (TOU RATE)
Last June, 2007 Meralco launches their new rate scheme called Time-of-use or TOU rate program, it is a special offer of Meralco to consumer whose electric consumption is higher that 750kw for 12 month average peak.

TOU rate is a new pricing of Meralco that is concerned on the time the customer uses the electricity. during peak periods the demand for electricity is high because of that power plants including those who run on expensive fuel are needed to generate more electricity that results to high price of electricity unlike in off-peak period. TOU rate gives the customer a chance to reduce their bill by consuming electricity at off-peak period.

Sometimes in our life we feel troubled, down, hopeless and depress at those moments we wish God gave us strength and power to move on and be able to surpass all of it. Sometimes we overlooked on something important, a thing that could change our life forever. Opportunity … for some it is their chance to have a stable financial aspect and for some a choice to live life to the fullest. We see opportunity in its lighter and brighter side but had you ever encounter opportunity on it harder side.

I believe that opportunity is inevitable, something that we carry all the time and may occur anytime and anywhere. All of us have problem, difficulties and pain sometime we feel that the cross we are carrying is too heavy for us to move on. I believe that those instances and events in our life is an opportunity in its hard and tough side. I believe it is our opportunity to prove that we can surpass all of those difficulties; it is our opportunity to grow tougher. If sometimes we wish that God could gave us strength to carry our cross, maybe He gave us the opportunity to carry our cross and He will make sure that everything will be fine.

Sometimes there are opportunities in life that we miss. It could be for our self or for others: We miss our opportunity to give our extra blessings to others who has nothing and sometimes we miss our opportunity to see something good on something bad.

I believe that in life there is no late, we might not yet see our opportunity to change. I hope through my article I could give you the opportunity to see trials in its different side and live life to the fullest.

Microsoft word keyboard shortcut
Sometimes using mouse makes our works quite hard and complicated wherein you have to point the object you want select. But what if you are trying to select a word on a 20 – 30 paragraph sentences it would be hard by just using mouse it will be much harder when you use scroll keys. Here are some basic keyboard shortcut tips in maximizing the function of your Microsoft office.

If you want to shift from one to another you can use this keyboard command:

My first father’s day
Nag celebrate kami ng father’s day sa SM city Pampangga, excited ako kasi eto kauna unahang father’s day ko. Lahat naka ayos at naka handa na, ang gwapo nga ng anak ko lalo na nung dinamitan naming siya ng bago niyang damit. Pagkatapos naming magsimba kumain muna kami nila mama sa jollibee crossing. Yun nga lang hindi pwede si mama na umalis eh kaya kaming tatlo lang ni Daisy at Raycee ang pwede. Napaka saya ko hindi lang dahil sa kasama ko sila kasi dahil mahal na mahal nila ako at ganun din ako sa kanila.

Raycee’s first month birthday

June 13, 2007 was Raycee’s first month birthday I have work that day so I decided to go home early so I can have more time to my son. It was special day for me because my little angel turns one month, it is just like yesterday when Daisy gave birth on him now we are celebrated his first month birthday. Tita Flor, mom and my wife prepares fried chicken and pancit while I bought birthday cake from Goldilocks.

Raycee’s birthday reminds me on how blessed I am having my family. It was them who complete me. Happy 1st month birthday my son, happy birthday Raycee ^_^

Raycee’s Christening
Last June 03, 2007 is Raycee’s christening, it was held at San Ildefonso Parish church, Poblacion, Guiguinto, Bulacan and the reception is at our house. Aling Ning Ning catering services prepares the food and come up with these menus: Lengua with mushroom; chopseuy in white sauce; chicken roll; pancit; hamonado and achara for side dish. While my mom cooks chicken afritada Daisy and I helps in preparing the dining and buffet table. Ang biyenan ko naman nagdala ng lechong baboy at leche plan para sa dessert. Ang ganda ng lugar pati ang panahon naki sama sa okasyon. Lahat excited ng dumating yung mga bisita even Daisy and I was also excited.

Nung nasa simbahan kami napaka saya ko kasi dati pangarap lang to eh ngayong nangyayari na, ang sarap ng feeling. During the mass I thank Lord for everything, for giving me Daisy as my wife and Raycee as my first son. Nung time nayun wala nakong hihilingin pang iba para sakin kumpleto na ang lahat pinagdasal ko na sana magawa ko ang mga responsibilidad at obligasyon ko bilang isang ama kay Raycee, asawa para kay Daisy at anak para sa Mama ko. Marami pero kakayanin ko, gagawin ko ang lahat para magawa ko ng tama hindi lang dahil sa kailngan kong gawin kundi dahil Mahal ko sila at ayaw ko silang pabayaan.

Sobrang saya ng araw nayun lahat ng mga kaibigan naming ay halos kumpleto, yung iba kasi hindi na naka punta kasi may mga trabaho narin sila. Some of our guest was eating outside our house because it was already occupied. I just hope they are happy and contended on the food we prepare. Maraming maraming salamat po sa nagpunta, salamat po ^_^

At the end of the day I found myself looking at the sky and wondering “is it really over” kasi parang napaka tulin ng oras. Parang gusto kong ibalik yung oras kasi napaka saya ko. Thank God for everything ^_^

Movie Review “Fantastic 4: the rise of the silver surfer”

Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm or also known as The Fantastic 4 hits the big screen again this June, 2007. I able to watch the movie last Saturday (June 17, 2007) and I find the movie good but I believe they could make it better. There are some parts and scenarios in the movie that needs more emphasis also some of the elements needed to stress out a bit.

Silver surfer: the movie doesn’t tell much about him or where did he come from. All that was told is that he is only serving and obeying the thing that eats the core of the planet and that is the reason why every time the silver surfer landed on a planet it dies after 8 days. The surfer is just preparing the planet for destruction and he is not the destroyer. He is doing this because he wanted to save her love one from that thing.

That thing: I really don’t know the one that eats the core of the planet and the reason why the planet dies, according to the surfer it is the destroyer. Just like the surfer I have no idea where that thing comes from.

Graphics: Sometimes the visual effect become blur especially if Reed stretches his arm and body. The rest of the visuals are awesome CGA did a great job in showing the essence of the character and on a particular scenario.

It was 3:00pm of Thursday when the management decides to rearrange the workplace of the admin. Nalungkot ako kasi isa sa mga plano nila eh paghiwa hiwalayin ang mga encoder at ilipat sa ibang kwarto. Naging ka close ko na rin kasi sila and it was hard for me to see na malayo na sila, anyways ano bang magagawa ko? Unang taon ko sa Meralco sila ang kasama ko at sila ang mga nagging kadamay ko sa mga problema sa buhay at kung minsan eh sa trabaho. Naging kasama ko narin sila sa mga tawanan at sa hirap, naging parte narin kasi sila ng buhay ko.
Nung naglilipatan na nga eh hindi ko alam ang gagawin at mararamdaman, pero syempre malungkot ako as in sobrang lungkot. Yung tagal na samahan namin na umabot halos ng isang taon ay para bang pinaghiwalay ng halos 30 minutos, alam ko naman na mananatili yung pagsasamahan naming sa puso eh pero iba parin kasi kung magkakasama nang matagal sa isang araw. Mangiyak ngiyak na nga ako ng binubuhat nila yung mga mesa, for me that is the only thing I can do for that situation para ma ease ung nararamdaman ko wala naman talaga kasi akong magagawa eh.
Halos tapos na ang araw 4:40PM ng matapos ang lipatan para isang isla na nawalan ng tao ang kwarto namin. Lumungkot at parang nawalan ng buhay ang lugar sa mga ganitong oras nagbibiruan at nagtatawanan na kami pero wala as in wala ….. malungkot …..
