Google Street View now covers 95 per cent of UK roads

Google Street view featured a major update today, meaning that users can now log onto the service and have a look at 95 per cent of the UK’s roads. Google Street View was introduced to the UK last March, but was originally only available in 25 major cities. But, after a year of seeing the Google streetcars pounding the streets of Britain, nearly every inch of tarmac has been captured in high-detail mapping glory. Even static landmarks such as Stonehenge have been captured, using the Google trike cam.
