My wife put together a super cool new blog called Heaven On A Sunday. She blogs about "life, puppies, coffee, popcorn, bows, Audrey Hepburn and The Beatles". It's also mobile friendly and auto-syncs with her Tumblr & Instagram, which as a marketer I find pretty damn cool. Check it out :)

RAM

Paul McCartney released his and Linda's 1971 album "RAM" today, and to promote it came up with this really cool "Percy Thrillington" campaign. The name Percy Thrillington traces back to a fictional character he created in 1977 for the album "Thrillington", an instrumental cover version of the album "RAM". There's all sorts of cool stuff included with the re-release including a documentary about the album called "Ramming", a snippet of which is posted below.

As a part of the campaign they've set up both a Facebook page and a Twitter account for Percy, which I've been attempting to interact with quite a bit. We even invited him along to our wedding :)

The Avett Bros in NYC

Kelly and I went to see the Avett Brothers last Wednesday night at Terminal 5 in NYC. Amazing, amazing show and a great band. Definitely worth seeing if you ever get the opportunity. Below is a video from that night of Scott Avett singing "Murder in the City".

Yesterday my brother Justin sent me a link to these amazing 120-year-old color photos of Ireland. I especially enjoyed these because they include some of the less touristy places Kelly and I visited during out July '11 trip such as Dungarvan and Enniskerry, as well as some of the better known spots such as St. Patrick's Cathedral and Phoenix Park in Dublin. I love the song N17 by the Saw Doctors. It's about an Irish emigrant longing to be back home on a road in Ireland. I've never been, but it's on our to-do list for our next trip to Ireland along with most of counties Galway, Mayo, Sligo and Donegal.

Another great Christmas

This Christmas was fantastic. Thanks to a long weekend off from work I had a ton of time to relax with Kelly and both of our families. Kelly gave me a new flash for my camera along with some ultra-cool Beatles Sgt. Pepper's art that I plan on putting up in my cubicle and.... BACON FLAVORED CANDY. I also picked up a tripod and really cool ukulele. Not bad! Between all the parties, cookies and ham Kelly and I took it easy, did some wedding-related planning and listened to music. Such a great few days.
