However later on, at the last moment the song was removed from the list of songs for the show…. But this song got stuck in my mind and I desperately wanted to sing this… Thanks to Praveen Pandit for sharing the karaoke track.

I recorded it in 15 mts…. Mixing and making a video took another 30mts….In short it was all over in just leass than an hour. Hope you will like my attempt…Your feedback would be highly appreciated. ….

Song: Main Yeh Sochkar….
Movie: Haqeeqat
Lyrics: Kaifi Azmi
Music: Madan Mohan
Original Singer: Mohd. One of my friends from esnips helped me with a track which was not of the version I was familiar with… Yet I tried my best to sing along with that track made in lines with the filmi version of the same ghazal… I was not too pleased with output and did not upload it anywhere… Subsequently our friend Paras ji was kind enough to share this track with me which she got from www.taranaa.com …… Thanks to Praras ji and Taraana ….:)

And here it is – my cover of this extremely brilliant ghazal of Ustad Mehdi Hassan Saheb… I dedicate this to Khan Saheb who is ailing, with my prayers to the Almighty for his speedy recovery. … I humbly request music lovers from all over the globe to sincerely pray for him. Artists like Khan Saheb are very precious to us…We want him to be amidst us as long as possible….!!!!!

Thank you Muzaffar Naqvi Shaeb for doing a preview ……… and for the valuable inputs…:)

View the comments/feedback on this Ghazal at MUZIBOO

N V Krishnanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08485387135538027228noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3235196782407401898.post-1813699678314240192012-01-29T22:10:00.001+05:302012-01-29T22:12:38.073+05:30My Republic Day Special ...This song, from the movie “Roja” was a turning point in Hariharan’s career, after which he never looked back………
Please listen and let me have your feedback….

Bharat Mata Ki Jai…………!!!!!

View the feedback on this song at MUZIBOO

Bharat Humko Jaan Se Pyara Hai - Cover by N V Krishnan | Online Karaoke

N V Krishnanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08485387135538027228noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3235196782407401898.post-47133938770853740362012-01-29T22:08:00.000+05:302012-01-29T22:10:18.996+05:30
This is a wonderful Ghazal written by Faiz Ahmed Faiz presented by the legendary Pakistani singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Saheb in his own inimitable style…. I could not resist the temptation to try this beautiful song the momment I heard it first… Was trying to get hold of a good track…All I got were only the voice cut ones, on which it was very difficult to sing such a song… Yesterday I got a very nice Karaoke track from the You tube …This only solved the first part of the problem…now the next issue was the english portion in the song… As you all know I cant even dream of attempting those portions… Then I decided to cut short the song and end it with the rendition of the words “Sau gram zindagi” in the higher octave as in the original at the end…
At last here it is …the final version… Please listen and give your feedback…
Song: Sau Gram Zindagi
Movie: Guzaarish
Music: Sanjay Leela Bhansali
Lyrics: Vibhu Puri
Original Singer: Kunal Ganjawala
Cover By : N V Krishnan

View the feedback on this song at MUZIBOO

N V Krishnanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08485387135538027228noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3235196782407401898.post-32762539878710727062011-04-29T20:24:00.001+05:302011-04-29T20:24:56.894+05:30I want to share something special with you: One of my songs recorded sometime ago was aired on KLOK radio on the 29th April 2011, on the show ‘Golden Voice with Siva’ (9.30 AM to 10.30Am). KLOK 1170 AM is San Francisco, San Jose and Oakland's New 50,000 Watt South Asian Radio Station, playing 24/7 South Asian music with a fusion of Bollywood and World hits as well as a variety of music, news and talk programs. !!! This song "Kannukku Mai Azhagu" is from the movie “Puthiya Mugam” composed by A R Rahman and originally sung by unni Menon.
