(WVLT) -- Eloise Rodgers lives alone and has for nearly 30-years.

"If I was going to let someone in I would ask for their I.D."

But how does Eloise know that I.D. is real? K-U-B is one utility that spends a fair amount of time working in neighborhoods. For her, there's more than an I.D. that gives her peace of mind.

"I would look at their truck first. They always have it labeled. Then I would ask for the I.D. before I let them inside," said Rodgers.

"K-U-B encourages customers to always ask for a photo identification badge when anyone claiming to work for the utility comes to their home," Grace Whiteside from KUB told WVLT. Read More...

Security Imaging Corp.

Emergency Communication Two-Way Radios

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 199px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_dntx5xX-FA4/S5FZJEh2n2I/AAAAAAAAAN8/mJHVzRQ2wgQ/s200/Raceciever.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5445231436837068642" />
Two-Way radios for emergency management use

With all of these disasters taking place, Earthquakes in Chile, Haiti, Taiwan and more were communication has been lost via the use of cell phones and land lines having two-way professional quality walkie talkies is a great standby during a power outage or emergency crises.

Security Imaging is now selling a two-way radio to help in your emergency readiness program.
Prices starting at $269.50ea

For information contact: Security Imaging Corporation 877-369-7033

Raceceiver
This receiver is great for communication during a event or emergency response.
It works one way so the person wearing the device hears information that is directed to them by a two-way radio but can not talk back. Pepe was at Roger L. Putnam Vocational Technical High School one day earlier this month and was very upset by something she did not see: a single student wearing an identification badge.

Pepe wants each of the city's nearly 25,500 public school students to wear an ID badge. The School Committee passed a policy in 2002 that middle school and high school students wear badges, but it has gone dormant.

"It's a major issue," Pepe said last week. "You want safety in the schools, and this is one of the ways to provide that."
Read more:
Security Imaging Corp.

Fargo C30e system

The Fargo C30e system is a great entry level system that has every thing you need to start making employee ID badges, school ID, loyalty cards and more!

System Includes: Persona C30e single-sided printer, Asure ID Solo Software, Logitech C500 Web camera, full-color ribbon cartridge (250 images), 100 UltraCard™ PVC cards, 1 pack of cleaning rollers (3 per pack), USB cable and 1 Year Asure ID Protect.

Call Emily at 1-877-369-7033 for a quote.
Security Imaging Corp.

ID card Ribbon, Nisca, Magicard, Fargo, Eltron

Security Imaging offers ID Card Ribbon at a great price, and almost all ribbon is available and ready for fast ship the same day. Or maybe a larger company that doesn't have the time to print employee ID badges?

Wearing an ID badge in today's world is extremely important. Whether you have a security guard that checks IDs or you have an access control system, Identification cards help keep your work place safe by helping other employees recognize who is allowed in the building and who isn't.

Some companies have access control badges but a lot of those companies still don't have photo ID cards. Security Imaging can print on adhesive PVC cards that you can adhere to your existing Access card so that your card not only grants access but shows who you are.

Please call 1-877-369-7033 for more information on our badge bureau service to see how we can help.
Security Imaging Corp.

SkimSafe Badge Holders for Government Issued ID cards

Security Imaging now stocks SkimSafe badge holders. In fact, the Brethren Service Center in Maryland is the receiving point for contributions from most other mainline US denominations.

Over the next three Sundays, we invite your outreach donations toward Haiti Disaster Relief. Thanks to funding provided by the 2008 bond issue, we are making security enhancements on every HPISD campus.

In February, we are introducing a system that requires all visitors and volunteers to wear badges while they are on campus.

Since HPISD welcomes the many volunteers and visitors who are an integral and valued part of our campus life, we want to be sure the phase-in goes smoothly. Below are questions and answers for those visiting our campuses.

Q: What are the general procedures for visitors?

A: When the visitor arrives, he/she will be greeted and asked for photo identification.

A state-issued driver's license is the preferred ID. For those visitors who do not have a driver's license, we will also accept a government-issued photo ID such as a state ID card or green card.

The ID will be run through the Raptor system, which HPISD recently purchased for each campus in order to screen for registered sex offenders. The system will compare the name of the visitor to a national sex offender database, which only takes a few seconds. Once the visitor is cleared, he/she will be issued a badge.

The visitor will be expected to check out at the front office when leaving the campus. read more

Security Imaging Corp.

Utility Urges Customers To Ask For Photo ID Credentials

NEWARK NJtoday.net

Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) is concerned about recent reports of strangers posing as PSE&G employees to gain access to a home or to lure a homeowner out of their house.

In a recent incident in Saddle Brook, for example, police said a man reportedly wearing a utility hat told a homeowner that electrical work was being done in front of the house. Google has mailed customized window stickers to business across the U.S. that are frequently searched for on google.com or in Google Maps — 100,00 have been sent out so far. Each sticker bears a QR barcode ready to be scanned by a cell phone reader, when scanned the code provides a link to Google’s entry for the local business which contains general information, reviews, coupons, and other pertinent information. Favorite Places also has a website were you can check out what Google classifies as a “favorite” in your area. So simple it might work? This is essential to total security because although most contactless smart card systems implement industry-standard security mechanisms, readers can be modified to access information without authorization.

Credit card readers can be easily purchased that will read the credit account number, expiration date, and even name off your new RFID enabled credit card. These readers can easily be concealed so that someone could walk through a crowd, ride on a subway, elevator, or other crowded area and steal nearby credit card information without the card holder ever knowing it happened.
Contact: Security Imaging to purchase secure id holders 877-369-7033

Security Imaging Corp.

October: Breast Cancer Awareness Month

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 199px; height: 200px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_dntx5xX-FA4/Ss9bggvDb_I/AAAAAAAAAJA/sdAOMhyk9Oc/s200/Breast_Cancer_Awareness_Products.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5390627893087006706" />
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and Security Imaging has all types of awareness products available.
