Develop and recommend appropriate near and long-term financing strategies and capital structures. Forecasting and Budgeting – prepare and lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes. Work closely with department managers to monitor spending against approved budget. Investigate, recommend and then implement a budgeting and forecasting software tool.

Budget vs. Actual (BVA) Analysis – review monthly spending vs. budget with department managers and document explanations for variances. Present BVA analysis to management team for approval before distributing to Board of Directors and investors.

Internal reporting – work with management team to identify key metrics to be used to monitor the Company’s performance and implement an internal monthly reporting package.

Month End Close – participate in the close process by working with department managers to ensure adequate and accurate accruals are maintained.

SEC Reporting – assist in the preparation of the Company’s S-1 and provide support during the IPO process. Following an IPO, assist with filing 10Qs and 10K.

Audits – assist with the quarterly reviews and annual audit process with the Company’s external auditors PWC. Good understanding of US GAAP and prior experience dealing with external auditors is preferred.

Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) – assist with SOX implementation, compliance and testing.

Other – work on special projects and provide ad hoc analysis as needed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 
• Education – BS/BA degree in Finance or Accounting and MBA preferred
• Work Experience – minimum of 8 years of strategic planning experience with progressively responsible roles preferably with public companies
• Computer Skills – advanced Excel modeling skills required and experience with QAD accounting system preferred
• Industry Experience – prior experience in a manufacturing environment is required and medical device industry experience is preferred

Regulatory and Audit Support 
Provides support to business and IT partners on regulatory and internal and external audit processes, as well as on program-managed initiatives such as Sarbanes-Oxley 404 and records retention. 
Analysis and Mitigation Services 
Provides risk identification, assessment, and consulting services to business and IT partners to make sure that key IT risks are appropriately mitigated. 
Business Continuity Management 
Coordinates business continuity activities including planning, testing, and incident/crisis management, to assure survivability of Credit Suisse in case of significant business/IT disruptions. 
The IT Risk Groups provide three categories of service to their clients:

DEPARTMENTAL OVERVIEW 
The IT Risk function in Pune will provide support services to the global IT Risk function. At the present time, three functions are expected to be based in Pune starting in 2007: 
1. Risk Assessments . the execution of Risk Assessments to identify risks associated with IT projects (applications development and infrastructure). The Risk Assessments will be undertaken using s standard methodology to ensure that all risks are identified, logged and accepted or appropriate mitigation steps are implemented. The Risk Assessments will be conducted in conjunction with the IT Risk Client Coverage teams based in New York, London and Zurich. 
2. SOX Testing . this function will assist Control Owners across IT in defining, executing and documenting their SOX controls. The SOX testing team in Pune will work closely with the SOX Program managers in the Regulatory and Audit Support team based in London. 
3. Reporting . this function will create a wide range of management reports that will be required on a regular basis. This will involve the collection of data, creation of reports and distribution to IT Risk management and clients.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE: 

• Act as the single point of contact for IT Risk in the Pune office. 
• Work with IT Risk management in the Asia Pacific region, and globally, to establish the Risk Assessment, SOX testing and reporting functions in Pune as either captive or managed services 
• Provide backup for the Pune Crisis Manager 
• Act as the day-to-day escalation point for issues related to ongoing Risk Assessments, SOX testing and Reporting 
• Will work closely with IT Risk functional management in New York, London and Asia Pacific to ensure that Service Level Agreements for the functions in Pune are achieved. This will require regular discussions with IT Risk managers in other locations to ensure that the information required by the teams in Pune is delivered in a timely manner. 
• Act as the IT Risk relationship manager with Wipro and any other vendors that may be engaged in India to provide services to IT Risk 
• Work with regional management to ensure that the IT Risk teams in Pune are aligned with regional IT and IT Risk initiatives and programs 
• Ensure that the ITR team in Pune is aligned and integrated with the other ITR CoE teams globally 
• Work with the global deployment team to provide regular reporting on the status and achievements on the IT Risk functions in Pune 
• Participate in the regional IT Risk management team by attending weekly conference calls 
• Act as the local IT Risk subject matter expert for other functions deployed in Pune. Assist local IT managers in Pune in making contact with the appropriate global IT Risk teams. 
• Provide training for other staff in Pune on IT Risk, Data Security, Privacy and Cross Border Data Transfer issues as well as conducting regular IT Security training using material provided. 



SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES (e.g. shifts, travel overseas, hours): 
On call for escalation of significant issues 
In crisis situations may be required to work extended hours 
Travel to other IT Risk centers (New York, London, Singapore or Hong Kong) required approximately once per quarter
