I was recently struck by a quote from Mother Teresa.  She said “God did not call me to be successful; He called me to be faithful.”

I don’t know how it happened – but I have been way off base for a long time. I have been striving for success.  And the problem with success is that it is an outcome, attainment, termination of events.  And nothing about the day-to-day activities of my life are terminating (at least I hope not).
I am convicted that I am called to be faithful.

They were thrilled when they heard we were heading to their favorite “restaurant” this weekend!

As always, Medieval Times never ceases to pull us into the 11th century and entertain through every moment of the show!  My son can’t get enough of the medieval games & fighting. And my girls blush when the Yellow Knight throws out flowers & chooses the Queen of Love and Beauty (as if Macy didn’t already queen herself this at some point in her 6 years of life).  We loved every minute!

I have bolded the functions that I have it scheduled to do on a weekly basis.  You can schedule these functions as often as you would like but weekly works for me!

One great feature of this WordPress backup is that you can get a copy of your theme files & uploads as well.  Most database backups will just send your database (which includes your content) but not your theme files & image uploads, etc.  I have scheduled my database backup weekly and my theme files & uploads to come in once a month.

So, you might be wondering how life has changed over the past 2 weeks… here is a quick rundown of the before and after:

I am thrilled to have lost 8 pounds so quickly. I will be completely honest and tell you that the first few days of the Bouari diet were pretty tough. My body went through a little bit of shock with the dramatic changes that I was making to my eating habits.  But things got a lot easier on day 3-4.  The toughest part for me now is winning over my cravings.  In the first 2 weeks, I only had one day where I cheated on the diet.

I was recently offered the opportunity to work with a Plano weight loss clinic in return for writing about my experience and results. I figure that this provides a good level of responsibility for everyone involved.  I have quite a bit of accountability with the clinic and the world wide web. And they have accountability in having me spread the word about my results.

Today, I want to give you a rundown of some of the key components to the Bouari Clinic Weight Loss Experience:

No one wants to have a blank face!

To get your photo showing up across the web as you comment on others blogs or post on your own, you essentially have to register your photo with your email address.  Then you have to use that email address when you are commenting!

To register your email address with a picture, there are a few places that you can go but I am just going to give you one because it is the only one that has consistently worked for me!

I have been wanting to rework my creative space for the past year or so and we finally got around to it this weekend.

The sawhorse style desk and shelving unit are from World Market.  The subway style sign is from Hobby Lobby.  And the rest of the decor have been collected over the years!

I love that the desk isn’t too deep to be obtrusive into my space.  Here is a picture from across the room.

Can’t wait to get to work in my new space! Ok, maybe that was a bit of an exaggeration.
