John founded one of the Internet's earliest advertising networks (bannerclicks.com) and sold it to publicly traded WebQuest International, Inc. (WEBQ) at the height of the first dot com boom. He then built a biotech b2b portal website (vitalBio.com) and sold it to a group of investment bankers. After that he developed the award-winning Submission-Spider search engine submission software that's been used by over 3 million individuals, businesses, and governments in over 42 countries.
Today John produces educational web video, writes and publishes a series of books on Internet Marketing and Computer Programming, and runs Codemy.com the online school he founded that has taught 20 million people to code through a series of hands-on interactive web videos about Python, Django, Ruby on Rails, PHP, and more...

My Latest Project
I founded Codemy.com to teach people to code using easy-to-follow videos and hands on help online when they need it. Learning to code shouldn't be difficult or take years and years to do!
The site is made up of over 50 video courses. People can take a single course for just $49 or sign up for full membership and take all the courses for just $249. We currently offer courses on Python, Django, Ruby on Rails, PHP, HTML & CSS, Javascript, Node, SQL, MYSQL, PostgreSQL, and Linux with more courses on on the way! I also plan on offering Internet Marketing related courses in the future so that people can market the things they build once they learn to code.
