Mark Ling’s Affilorama is a product that has seen its way around the Internet a few times. Initially, this was priced at over $250 but since, Mark has generously made his Affilorama training available for free.

The quick history behind Affilorama is that it is not the Internets newest affiliate training program, but it is perhaps the most honest. Up until recently, this entire catalog was subscription only, but the owner, Mark Ling has recently split the course up into a free version, alongside a subscription model for his advanced students looking for that little bit more.

After registering and receiving a confirmation e-mail, the only catch seems to be a tremendously corny name for a training program! Affilorama features hours and hours of professionally recorded training videos which are backed with notes, software and literally everything that is needed to start building an affiliate income.

As experienced internet Marketing experts ourselves, we also know our way around the internet, and after taking a look at the details of this course with literally tons of videos, we were stunned to see that Mark and his team are not focused on the get rich quick mindset, but sound internet Marketing techniques that have been tested time and time again. Using the techniques learned on Affilorama the only limitation is yourself. Mark makes sure any technical terms are covered and clearly defined, and he also ensures that the pace is slow enough to cater to beginners, but also challenging enough to remain motivating.

Some people may describe the coaching from Affilorama as groundbreaking and revolutionary, but honestly speaking, Mark is not about making waves, but focused on teaching well-known profitable internet marketing techniques, and this is a GOOD thing. Many internet Marketers do not know where to start, and this product teaches you the basics in small and easy to understand chunks, starting with the most commonly left out and most important essentials.

As mentioned above, the videos in Affilorama really are the best part of the whole program. Not only does Mark seem to be a very cool guy, but he is patient, easy to listen to and certainly knows his stuff. If you have the motivation and the eagerness to start yesterday, then take our advice and go slowly because a lot of the information on Affilorama is really, really important to learn for first timers and with so much there - it is impossible to learn it all in a day.

At the end of Affilorama, you are given the option to actually upgrade. The truth is, what you gain from the monthly subscription is Mark’s coaching and more videos. Take a look at the free Affilorama first, and then tell us it is not worth a subscription…

In conclusion, Mark and his team have done a wonderful job of finally developing an information product that actually is worth more than its value. There is no joke when people really say that the videos alone are worth $2000. Why not go and try Affilorama out for yourself? If you are willing to finally get serious about affiliate Marketing then Mark will blow you away with his honesty, manner and truthfulness throughout the Affilorama training.

You can take a look at the Affilorama website here.

Aweber is one of the most popular autoresponders available that gives you some great features to follow up on your customers to build a profitable mailling list.

An autoresponder is a little script that runs on a server which allows an unlimited amount of automatic emails to be sent to anyone to requests it. The really powerful feature of an autoresponder is that you can pre-program the script to send messages to your customer list and specified intervals.

This is essentially a very powerful way to automatically follow up on your subscribers to your newsletter or ezine.

Aweber is an autoresponder service therefore you don’t need to get involved with any programming for the script. The system is extremely simple to use you just place in your emails and set the time period to send them.

Aweber offers some of the best features available in an autoresponder such as:

* The ability to configure unlimited follow up messages.
* Your messages can include HTML or plain text.
* You can configure unlimited campaigns. Each campaign includes unlimited autoresponses and follow ups.
* You get unlimited Broadcasts & Newsletters: Broadcasts can be scheduled in advance to be sent at a specific date and time in the future.
* You can configure unlimited Ad Tracker campaigns.
* You get FREE Unlimited Customer Support.
* Plus much more..

The really great thing about this system is that you can send subscribers to your mailling list by getting them to simply send a blank email to you account email address that you setup. This effectively is a quicker and easier option for you customer than filling in an online form.

Another great feature is they give you FREE Training Videos to get you started in setting up your autoresponder.

Everyone who runs a website should collect leads/subscribers. A customer list is the most important part of any business online or off. You don’t necessarily have to run an ezine every month but having a customer list who trust you will always respond when you have new products to offer them.

If you have a website and are not collecting leads then you are losing money. Period!

Every top marketer has a customer list that they promote to and a lot of them actually use Aweber. So, it’s a proven model for your business.

For years now I have always claimed how good I believe the Google content network is in driving converting traffic. Most people are afraid to test it for fear of losing money and getting no conversions as they *heard* the search network performs better. (I’ve tested the content network in various markets, and most of them outperformed the Search network by a factor of 2-1.)

Now you can hear what Google has to say on the matter. Google recently analyzed conversions, cost, and cost-per-acquisition (CPA) on the Content Network, and compared them to performance metrics on the search network across thousands of campaigns and many geographic regions.

You can download their findings here:

If there’s one person’s Adwords account that I wish I could spy on for the day… that person would be Perry Belcher, the creator of Get Money From Google.

Perry Belcher is a little less known than most on the internet marketing guru’s out there, but after Perry’s new course “Get Money From Google”, that is all about to change.

After purchasing the Wholesale Traffic system that he launched with Ryan Deiss last year, Perry has made a big impression on me and I now follow everything he says. For someone who has spent over $7,000,000 on Google Adwords he certainly knows a thing or two about Online Marketing.

To my surprise the Wholesale Traffic system was not just about traffic. After I purchased the course I was shocked to find an A-Z Internet Marketing course teaching you everything from sourcing products, outsourcing product creation, building converting web pages, driving insane amounts of traffic with Google - very cheap… not to mention the whole product splintering methods that just opens your eyes to the insane potential for anyone to run a successful info product business.

Well, he’s done it again at a mere fraction of the cost...

The wholesale traffic system is a stretch at $1997 for some, but the Adwords and 1ShoppingCart screenshots told me I had to learn everything this guy knows, even at $3997 I would still have bought that course.

Anyway, Get Money From Google is kind of like a condensed summary of what he teaches in the Wholesale Traffic Sytem, and get this… Its a mere $27.

Like I said, I buy everything Perry Belcher puts out as you won’t get a better lesson on creating a profitable info products business than from him and Ryan Deiss, his partner.

The Get Money From Google system teaches you how to sell inexpensive, ultra-simple, highly-focused products to very, very narrow niche markets.. and because these products are so simple they can be created very quickly and sold very easily for between $17-$27.

Now most of you will be thinking… “how on earth can you make a good living selling cheap info products at $17-$27″?… and that’s where the power of their concepts come in called, “Self Liquidating Offers”, “Product Splintering”, and the clever “Risk Free Upsells”…

You see the initial offering of $17-$27 is not to make a profit, but to pay for your Adwords costs and the additional sales comes in from your *BIG*list of buyers. That is how you make a profitable business and both Perry and Ryan have been using the same business model for years.. very successfully.

…and the real kicker on this course though is how to get clicks from Google at a fraction of the cost most people pay. As he describes in his course, most people get hit by the “Google Stupid Tax” and he dissects his findings after spending over $7 million finding out the truth..

I won’t go into too much detail as my fingers are hurting already and I could go on forever, but let me say this, if you want to earn a living on the internet selling information products, and you want to:

…Learn the secrets of generating insane traffic from someone who has spent over $7,000,000 on Adwords.

You need to buy the Get Money From Google system right away before Perry comes to his senses and raises the price.

You can take a look at the Get Money From Google website here.

To this day I still hear this question asked on blogs, forums and addressed in newsletters and its about time someone put this to rest.

The internet relies on links to and from websites.

We know this, Google knows this.

The only reason reciprocal linking stopped working as well as it used too, is becuase people took it for granted that it was an easy way to increase the rankings on their site. By sending out 50-100 link requests emails every day you could easily get 10-15 links pointing back to your site every day, and in the early days this was the only strategy people used to get links.

…and it worked great!

But sites that were poor, outdated and oftentimes copied content were appearing at the top of the search engines due to all the links they had received - it was time to put this strategy to bed.

So Google reacted and even though reciprocal linking is not as effective as it once was.. It still works if you don’t take this too extreme and use it as the link spamming technique it once was.

Start thinking like Google and you will be much better at SEO..

Here is how to approach reciprocal linking in 2009:

1. If you have a new site do not start the link building process by garnering reciprocal links first. You need to build authority links into your site first to gain trust.

2. Reciprocal linking should never be used as a sole strategy for link building - mix it up with other strategies like directory submissions, articles submissions, press release distribution, social bookmarking, social media link baiting etc… get 1-2 links per day from each and build your links slowly over time.

3. Don’t send out 50+ emails every day or week for that matter to people in *unrelated* industries requesting link exchanges. Find only the best resources for your market and contact them personally by phone or email with a *personal* message.

4. Focus on building relationships with these people and the links will come - try building 1-2 *good* relationships per week. Add them to your recommended resources or links page and then call them or email them. Tell them how you liked their website and have linked to it from your site, then kindly ask them to check out your site for a possible reciprocation.

..by following along above you are not spamming your way to higher rankings, you are merely recommending resources to your customers and contacting the site in question to see what they feel about your site.

Is not the reciprocal linking that Google dislikes its the spammy way people approach it that’s the problem.

Build a good site with excellent content, then Build relationships with people in your marketplace and the links will follow.

Google Blogs is nothing new, but there is a very simple way to use it that many people overlook and it can be a very powerful traffic source for any website.

If you follow this strategy every day for at least 30 days you could easily ramp up 400+ visitors per day to your site and it takes very little effort - just 30 minutes per day.

So, go switch off the television and commit to doing this for 30 minutes every day.

In a nutshell all you need to do is visit Google Blogs and search for blogs in your market that have been updated in the last 12 hours. Google Blogs will list all the blogs that have been updated in the last 12 hours with the keywords that you specify. You can see a screenshot below. Then all you need to do is visit those blogs and leave an *insightful* comment. Don’t just post, “Hey, love the blog keep up the good work”. Make it useful and relevant to what is discussed.

Now here’s the kicker - Because these blogs have only just been updated you are often the first to place a comment on them and if the blog has good traffic levels you are sure to get your comment noticed. However, you need to entice the click aswell in your comment and this can be done by some kind of call to action. Ie, “read more on my blog at:” - I think you get the idea.

Bear in mind that a lot of people use this technique to spam blogs with links back to their site, don’t do this. Always leave the comment with your name. You will still build link juice into your site from the ones that don’t use “No-Follow” and this will help on the next pagerank update. Besides, a few links that are not your main keywords will actually benefit you in terms of rankings as there is a filter placed on Google’s Algorithm that will give you a -5 penalty if your incoming link text percentage is too high, but that’s a topic for another post.

Anyhow, follow these steps as above and just commit 30 minutes per day or 5 comments per day, whatever you can do. I’m sure you’ll be surprised with the results.

Sidenote: You can also use Google Alerts for this method, but I will be explaining how to use Google Alerts for traffic and linking in another post

Google Adwords are offering all new accounts with a $250 credit to test out their PPC network.

If you already have an Adwords account all you need to do is signup for a new adwords account with a different credit card. You will then be sent a promotional coupon code in the post that you can use to claim $250 of adwords credit.

I already have an account, but have got a new credit card just to take advantage of this offer.

Tip: Use the money on their content network with long tail keywords for your market. Contrary to popular belief there content network converts *extremely* well. Depending on the market I have seen over 400% better ROI from the content network than on the search network and the beauty is - its a lot cheaper.. You can easily get clicks for between $0.01 - $0.05 and even at $0.05 per click that is an additional 5000 hits to your site for free.

If you have always used the search network, then you are missing out on a *TON* of profitable traffic. To find out more about using the content network effectively, I recommend reading a copy of Adwords 180, this is the only book I found online that truly makes it easy to get dirt cheap, qualified traffic that converts!

Before I start building links to any new site, I always make sure I get a boost to my domain by building some *high quality* trusted links first. This strategy has always worked pretty well for me in the past as I focus on getting highly trusted links to my domain instead of tons of low quality links.

So here are the only directories that I submit my sites too. All have good PR and very good cache dates..

Dmoz - Although it is near impossible to get your site listed at Dmoz these days, its still worth submitting to as this directory is free and is owned by Google. One of the best links you could possibly get.

Yahoo Dir - They charge a $299 annual fee to list your site which even though they tell you otherwise, will get refunded if your site is rejected. Even at this price I highly recommend this directory due to the big boost of link juice. You get listed in all regional directories of Yahoo too, which will give you a bunch of good links.

Best Of The Web - This is my 3rd favourite directory t submit your site too. They charge $99.95 to list your site per year or $249.95 as a one-time review fee. Excellent PR and good cache dates make this a top directory to get into.

Go Guides - This has been a good directory for some time, they charge a $40 listing fee but worth every penny. You can also get in for free as an editor.

Joe Ant - Same as GoGuides, free for editors and $40 fee to list your site, again a very worthy directory.

Skaffe - Originally built from the GoGuides platform, this is also a pretty good directory that charges a $40 listing fee.

Gimpsy - A web directory with a little difference as its verb based. Still very good place to list your site for link juice - again a $40 listing fee.
