Carbon Jungle, Inc, (Pink Sheets: CBJG) an alternative energy service company based in Irvine, California with an international division in Shanghai, China has been restructuring and positioning itself for growth since August 2009.    Now the restructuring is done and this company is ready to make a big splash in exploding green energy and ecology related industries.   As the company launches its growth phase, the market is just now beginning to take notice and respond.  If there ever was a time to add Carbon Jungle to your speculative portfolio, now would be that time.

Earlier they inked a deal with the  People’s Republic of China to construct a glass recycling facility in Xiao Guan Zhuang and/or Baoying County.   Getting in bed with the Chinese government isn’t easy to do, but when you do, the sky’s the limit.

On top of their business gains, the company has also brought itself current on the pink sheets and attained the coveted pink “Current Information” rating, a sign that the company is diligent about providing its investors with total transparency.

We have reason to believe more positive announcements are coming as the company continues to roll out its new multinational business strategy and, with less than 26 million in the float as of March 2010, this stock could spike sharply to the upside as it gains more traction.   At current prices, that’s only $156,000 worth of stock on the market.

When is the last time you found a bulletin board company with a Price Earnings ratio under 10 and enough net assets to qualify for NASDAQ?  Now I’m not talking about a projected PE or some phony PE here either.  I am talking about a real honest to God Price Earnings ratio of under 10 on a company that has just doubled its net profits in the last 12 months.   For me, the answer was “never.”   Never, that is, until I discovered Emerald Dairy, Inc (OTCBB: EMDY)

“Emerald Dairy conducts operations through its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Heilongjiang Xing An Ling Dairy and Heilongjiang Beian Nongken Changxing Lvbao Dairy. Founded in 1980, Emerald Dairy is one of the leading producers of infant formula, milk powder, soybean and rice powders products in China. The Company is headquartered in Beian City, Heilongjiang, one of China’s largest milk production bases.”

This is an American corporate vehicle owning Chinese subsidiaries that truly are serious players in the powdered milk and formula business in China and are on a very steep growth curve.  They are also a company whose stock has been totally overlooked by the market and analysts to this point.   Since it is a bulletin board stock it is well beneath the radar of pretty much everyone except us of course.

I don’t think this will make the best day trading stock but as an investment, I think this one merits some very serious consideration.

There are a couple of shortcomings which may or may not get fixed but if addressed, could make a huge difference.  First the company’s website is sad.  The logo it very traditional Chinese but this is America and if a company wants American investors, they better consider how their website presence will be received by the people investing in the stock.   Second, it needs a more proactive and effective investor outreach program.  This stock should have at least a little coverage and should be touting its horn more than it is.  We think this stock could easily double with a little fine tuning of their approach to Investor and Public relations.

Serious Speculators always are looking for the right company at the right time.  The true sweet spot comes when the company is perfectly positioned in terms of its particular market niche and its stock is poised to take off as well.  Such appears to be the case with TOMI Environmental Solutions (OTCBB:TOMZ).  TOMI Environmental is a leading provider of environmental services that uses UV ozone, activated hydrogen peroxide and UVGI-Filtration to achieve a safe and healthy indoor environment.

TOMI’s technicians are certified to do both DNA dust checks and indoor air testing, following IESO Guidelines.  Their technicians test for Mold Spores, Allergens, VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds) and Bacterial/Viral contaminants.

It’s a fact that the environment in both homes and offices have been blamed for making people occupying these spaces sick.  Certain molds hidden in walls and basements have been blamed for creating debilitating symptoms in people.   And who can forget Legionnaires’ disease which appears to have been spread through the HVAC system in offices and hospitals.  Additionally, there’s the very real danger of contamination from everything from swine flu to bio-contamination from terrorists.

TOMI Environmental has developed the proprietary technologies necessary to clean a home or office of contaminates and disease without removing the furniture or equipment and they have already developed a rapidly growing business providing this service throughout Southern California.

With the cost of health care on everyone’s mind these days, there is a renewed focus on disease prevention.  This shift in focus couldn’t come at a better time for TOMZ.  According to a study by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, indoor air contaminants are responsible for half of all illnesses.   It stands to reason that if you clean up the indoor air, you will reduce disease accordingly.  With their patent pending ozone technologies, I doubt anyone is better situated to take advantage of this shift than TOMI Environmental Solutions.

This company isn’t just about ideas either.   A quick look at the company’s EDGAR filings reveals that the company, as of the September 30, 2009 10Q had current assets of almost $5 million including Cash and Cash Equivalents of $1,548,433.  It also reveals sales for the first 9 months of $427,562 with a margin of better than 72%.   These are the kind of real numbers that are not routinely found in bulletin board stocks.

Those are pretty impressive facts but it doesn’t get really interesting until you look at the stock’s historic trading patterns.  Thanks largely to the obvious fact that TOMZ has not had any kind of cohesive awareness program, the stock has drifted down from a high of $9.00 in early 2009 to it’s all time low between $.20 and $.40.  We’ve also seen an unacceptably wide spread, another indication of an artificially low stock price.

While we would be certain sellers well before the stock got back to the $9 level, when we look at the trading history, we see a stock that has reached this low on very little volume and is most likely very thin at these levels.   Without an effective IR program, most bulletin board stocks will drift lower and reach unnaturally low levels.  This can turn right around with the right amount and kind of attention.

Well, it looks like the company has finally decided to introduce itself to the market and, as a result, there could be a very interesting opportunity here for both the trader and the investor.   Watch for an increase in trading and volume and look for the spread to tighten up this week.  Those will be the first sign that things are beginning to happen.

Mariner’s Choice International, Inc (Pink Sheets: MCII) is a stock that has been getting a lot of attention lately and for all the right reasons.

Let’s start with the fact it’s a real company with real product and real revenues.  That’s always a great place to start when it comes to a recipe for interesting speculative stocks.   Now add not just “eco-friendly” but go all the way to “eco-helpful” and you have a stock that sits squarely in the middle of one of the hottest market sectors of the next decade.

According to the company’s website, “Mariner’s Choice is a developer, manufacturer and marketer of product solutions specific to the marine industry. The principle objective is to consistently deliver products that are eco-safe alternatives that offer equal or superior performance to products that often contain caustic or hazardous ingredients, and also offer these products at attractive economies of scale – in terms of both direct cost of product, as well as the cost benefit and return-on-investment these solutions provide to end-users.”

But in a world where there’s lots of talking the talk but not so much walking the walk, MCII is distinguishing itself by competing head to head and beating out the competition as evidenced by their announcement that their products were chosen by major customers, like the recent delivery of an initial order of the company’s private label products to a large refrigerated warehouse and distribution center. The customer has a network of 35 centers, with overall refrigerated warehouse space of nearly 10.0 million square feet serving major markets throughout North America.   Here the competition for the sale was stiff but Mariner’s Choice products won out in the end.

The desirability of their products was further confirmed when they announced that their products had been selected for a new marine focused online store being launched by TCS Marine Services Corp.

What caught our attention however, is something most folks are not jumping up and down about but that we find very very exciting.  As much money as there is in the recreational and industrial solutions being offered by MCII, the MC-Marine Fuel Catalysts side of the business really caught our attention.   When you start talking about improving the efficiency of ocean going vessels like container ships and ocean liners, you are talking about an economic scale that is staggering.

Consider the fact that an ocean going freighter can burn around 3,600 gallons of bunker fuel per hour.  That’s 86,400 gallons a day.  At that rate one ship could go through a 55 gal drum of Mariner’s Choice Bunker Fuel Enhancer every two days.  With the increased power saving shipping companies time (which translates into money) and reducing fuel costs (money again) once MCII gets the word out about this product to the shipping companies, you could see the revenue stream literally explode.   Keep in mind there are more than 50,000 cargo and passenger ships worldwide.  You do the math!

According to the Pink Sheets, there are only 78,250,608 shares outstanding.  At a $.04 stock price, that puts the market cap at a minuscule $3,130,024.   Not a lot for a company with such incredible potential. If there are two markets that are virtually guaranteed to explode over the next decade, they would have to be stem cell research and the anti-aging skin care market.

With stem cell research advances being made beyond the embryonic area, there is nothing but promise ahead and with the baby-boomer generation showing definite signs of aging, the largest group of women consumers will be emptying their bank accounts to purchase the latest advances in skin care products to stem the signs of again on their faces.

Chang-On International Inc. (OTCBB: CAON) announced on Wednesday that they had completed the previously announced production line modifications.  According to the company, these improvements will lower costs and increase effectiveness.

In commenting on the announcement Mr. Guomin Li, President of CAON, stated, “We now have the ability to launch a production line to manufacture products made of our SF brand synthetic materials for as little as RMB 1,525,000 ($223,000). The cost effectiveness of our recent production line modifications gives us greater flexibility to expand regional distribution of our SF brand.”

Once again Chang-On has shown itself to be steadily moving forward, meeting goals and delivering the kind of results one would hope for when investing in a penny stock.  In the current economic climate, one wants consistency and competency in management as well as a clearly defined plan that is being followed successfully.  Chang-On appears to have all this and more.

Red Reef Laboratories International, Inc, (Pink Sheets: RRLB) today forcasted potential revenues for its wholly owned subsidiary, MyoTrend Nutritional Technologies at between $15 and $25 Million as a result of recent international distribution relationships.  Recent collaborations offer a 50 country distribution channel into 1,200 outlets.  According to the company’s collaborative partners, 80% of its revenues occur in 12 of these countries.  The figures are based upon a percentage of revenues currently being experienced by the company’s collaborative partners.

In a related development, the company also revealed that they will be utilizing their MyoFit Fitness Journal, the company’s fitness publication, as a vehicle for tying in their new collaborative partner’s products with the MyoTrend brand.   The plan has proven to resonate well with distributors worldwide, as demonstrated by recently announced distribution agreements, largely due to tie-ins with MyoFit Magazine.

While we acknowledge that these lofty numbers may cause some to raise their eyebrows in disbelief, we also note that, if the company only accomplishes half of it’s forcasted potential or delivers at the low side of the projections, the numbers will still demonstrate a successful company with very impressive numbers.  If the company is able to deliver even $.002 in annual earnings per share, current shareholders will have something to brag about at cocktails and family reunions.   At a rational 30 times earnings, this could turn this sub-penny stock into a stock trading at $.06 and could turn a $350 investment into $6,000.
