The graphic pictures that are burned into our minds eye of military clad police officers and parents soul sick with grief and anguish portray a living parable of how horrendous and vile sin is viewed by our creator. We should be sick to our stomachs after all we have been made in the image of God and I am sure that the Sovereign God of the universe is repulsed by these events, as are we.

The most important question of all time: Who crucified Jesus? Romans? Jews? Gentiles? You or me? Who crucified Jesus? The astonishing reality is that God did. God crucified His Son! It is a mind-blowing reality. Jesus was His son. And the suffering was horrific. But all of scripture is pointing us to this very conclusion.

I find it most striking that the "free grace" movement likes to speak of grace when they don't even believe that a work of the Holy Spirit is necessary to believe the gospel. If my memory servers me correctly they are free-willers and erroneously think that faith is what man contributes, as if this were easier than obeying the law.

As we read Genesis 3 Adam and Eve were cursed due to there sin and cast out of the Garden of Eden. In Genesis 4, Cain kills Abel. In Genesis 4:17 we read that Cain had relations with his wife. The obvious question is; where did Cain get his wife?
