Someone wrote a song once about the House of the Rising Sun. Well, this isn’t it, but I’ve been told it’s called The House of Love (on Fulton at Masonic.)

It’s quite a sight, the whole thing is surrounded with plants. Kind of refreshing to see a little bit of eclectic SF scattered in the City!

Have to say, I’m having one of those days where I fall in love with SF’s nook and cranny all over again.

I just drove down Balboa Street and was reminded of all my old haunts from when I grew up… the Balboa Theater, Chino’s Taqueria and even St. Thomas Apostle school where I spent my pre-teen years learning to diagram sentences.

Sometimes I’m so busy that I forget how much I don’t just love San Francisco, but am actually in love with it. Glad to be reminded of that love affair today.

If you know me, you know I’m not a morning person. Yet, I’m still here at 7:45am (I’m early) at the San Diego Association of Realtors to improve my Realtor skill set. I’m here to take a class for my Certified Residential Specialist certification, and today - I’m here to learn more about listing strategies - which basically means that I’m here to help San Francisco homeowners sell their homes faster and for more money. At least that’s the idea. Sellers will still have to be realistic, but having a fabulous real estate agent (like me) working with them will improve their odds of a smooth and trouble free sale.

Anyhow - I’m off to get my lurnin’ on!

I (heart) Virgin Airlines, originally uploaded by LubaSF.

I still hate flying - but Virgin Airlines makes it SOOO much less painful. Even with lots of empty seats today, my flight didn’t get cancelled, and most people in the "middle" seat will get to get a more comfy seat. Even the flight attendants all seem to be in genuinely good spirits. And even though I’m just flying to San Diego, I actually have SOME legroom.

I vow to never fly another airline by choice again. If Virgin America flies there, I’ll be on THAT plane!

The only thing they could do to make my day better is to give me back the few extra hours of sleep I’m missing because this flight is so damn early.
