Did a shoot with “Lynn Pops” and finally got around to developing and scanning the negatives, I think I’m at a comfortable position with developing black and white so soon I will be trying out color film ( I think ill start with the Holga so If i get color shift I won’t mind as much ).

The film is T-Max 100 pushed to 400 ( I think I will push the next one to 800 and see how i like the results ). Scanned in an Epson 4490, I don’t use the attachments because they are really just a pain in the ass, though if I want to get a straight scan from a single frame I might use them, especially if I am scanning for printing.

Freckles – Lauren and Allie

This is a sister freckles session!!!

Lauren and Allie volunteered to let me shoot their freckles. I’ve know Lauren for a while and her love of Saved by the Bell, Boy Bands and really bad “reality” TV are sickening but she is awesome and does have a boat load of freckles and her sister even more so off we went to Foster Ave. beach and some wind tunnel shooting, boy it was windy!

Blue Monday

Blue Monday as of today turned into freaking awesome Monday. I made plans with Miss Panic to go out and shoot some awesome pictures. We took my Polaroid 320 Land Camera with some blue type 100 film, and my new toy the RZ67 camera and some black and white film … and it just went all kinds of cool from there.

Did I say there where “burritos as big as your head” or so the sign said, they weren’t that big but they were yummy!

Freckles – Trish

Another friend volunteers to help me with this project. Glad we found this very freckled wall at work, its totally perfect.

I have been slow going here because of work but like I said before ( either here or somewhere else online ): I will not give up and will push to shoot as much as possible, and this project really feels fun and not daunting at all. I have been getting a decent response and am looking forward to shooting more of you adorably freckled kids!
