ian: Try some of the better gameshops. They may not have sales to coincide with the Great Singapore Sale, but they ought to have the DS Lite at better prices!

The first thing that came to my mind when I read that Nintendo is naming their new system "Wii" was Michelle... as in Michelle Wi, the teenage golfing guru. Maybe she'll be Nintendo's spokesperson!

can't be help, the piracy in singapore will get worse only. unless the console games price are lowered. or should we have a renting system in Singapore, where you rent the game for 1-2 days for few bucks, if you like, you buy the original game, if not return the game.

Stuff to attract gfx whores:

(1) Non-interactive CGI movies

(2) Extreme dust particle simulation effects that does not add anything to the gameplay.

(3) Realistic water surface simulation effects for more eye candy! Woohoo!

You get together a team of like-minded people and you develop a game ABOUT MAKING A GAME with rewarding gameplay, interactivity and a logical, cohesive environment... You lose the game when you can't convince your dev crew to stop being graphics whores.

The name of the game? "Nights of the Old Skool".

I sold off my Mario Sunshine and swore never ever to play that game again after I completed the game, because of the insane patience it teaches you. I never ever wanted to play through that game ever again.

.... or so I thought.

After watching the Mario & Zelda Big Band Live DVD, when they played the Marion Sunshine tunes.... slowly, but surely, my craving to play Mario Sunshine grew again.... until one day I just said what the heck, I bought the game again off the shelves!!!

How's that for the demonstration of the power of muisc in games?

And I'm having fun with the game again.
