helllo people....there is a lot of discussion going on about EBS and CCavenue....but for startups there are gateways which provide integration without any cost....a few are TRANSECUTe and 2CHECKOUT

newer indian payment gateway is ZAAKPAY.com.....can any one please give reviews on these payment gateways or anyother u think is better than ccavenue or ebs

I paid up for the EBS gateway in Dec 2011. Facing serious problems in documentation. After sending me a list of documents required and accepting my setup fee, company has added another requirement of a very objectionable document on behalf of Citibank. They go back on their commitment after accepting the fee money. Am considering proceeding against EBS.

Your answers are as follows:
a) Yes you can buy a modem from Airtel and configure any router from market to work with it. Thats what is explained in this post.
b) If you buy a wifi modem, you will not need a separate router. You can connect multiple machines with it. A wifi modem is basically a modem and wifi router combined.

The routers in market are usually around Rs 1500, but they are better quality than the wifi modem airtel provides. airtel wifi modem starts giving problems if you connect more than 4-5 machines. But if you only have 1 laptop and 1 pc, you might find it sufficient for your needs.

i need a couple of quick pointers..

i have an airtel connection and the 220bx modem has bombed..now i need to purchase a new one from the company itself...and they are asking fr 750/- for the same modem and 1500/- for a wifi modem..

my query is..
a)can i just buy a modem from airtel, purchase a router from the market and configure it?
b)is there a better option available to me?
c)if i buy a wifi modem...that will enable to me use the internet one machine at a time..and if i need to use the same in both my laptop n pc...then i'd require a router,right?

i am quite with computers and technology...but networking and especially wireless networking is absolute blank for me...so i would appreciate it if u can help me out...i hope i have been able to put my point across...

as of now, i dont have a modem and no wireless...but now i want internet connectivity to my pc and laptop,,,wats the best way to go abt it..

CCAvenue has also problem with service. Especially with regard to the money settlement days. They keep our money for 4-5 days and then send the money. If we ask them to settle earlier there reply is they are short of staff. I have called to a person named Mr Nandkumar in CCAvenue, but somehow he escapes and the issue is not solved. Also recently they had sent our money to some other bank account and till now they are clueless...There failure rate is also high.

paypal...is the best option that you can imagine also.....but it will be only safe and not blocked if you know how to play with it......

1.paypal dosent blocks/limits a business account if you are really authentic and your turn over is more than 2 cr(inr)

2.always associate your company with a big brand name in the present country in which you are.........and then see the result by your own eyes..

3.about the transactions i think the professionals know that if you have an outbound process then the charges of conversion are best and cheaper in paypal if compared to any gateway..

i was really smiling when i was reading all the posts..dont take me wrong guys...

but let me clarify that i am using paypal for my transactions probably for more than 2 years...and all the issues which happened related to chargebacks and all were resolved within 5 working days...

So i m also putting one query for you.
I have Airtel WLAN Beetel router. I was using fine for my airtel broadband earlier as configured by Airtel service guy.
Now i want to use the same router with some another network.If i plugin the LAN from another incoming connection, i m not able to connect through internet using WIFI setting from same modem.
I set IP of my WIFI modem as 192.168.0.251. And the incoming connection from another router has ip of 192.169.0.1. I tried using same DNS servers also. BUt no luck.
I am not good with this stuff :(
Can u please help me put.
