I reached there on a Saturday morning, I was surprised to see that these is hardly any tourist there. Nothing is there to attract the tourists. Other than the Dam there are no facilities available, not even a toilet. No shops are available in the near by location, a badly maintained ice cream parlour is the only shop availabe.

We started the trip to Safari park from Neyyar Dam at 2:30pm. Previously the Safari Park trip was on the boat, but this time it was on the bus. The bus can accommodate 23 tourist. The journey through the boat is more as we cruise through the reservoir. The bus took us to the heart of the jungle. Then we headed to the Deer Park. It is one km away from Facilitation centre. We took ticket for the park and entered, we didn't see too many deers there.
