Scott County Relay For Life is Friday and Saturday at Vaughan Field in Shakopee

By Kristin Holtz, Staff Writer

Lois Kocon of Prior Lake knows about cancer. Her husband, Craig, is a prostate cancer survivor and a good friend, Jan Murphy of Prior Lake, died from colon cancer four years ago. She has many other family members and friends who have been touched by cancer’s grip.

“It’s kind of like everywhere we look there’s somebody who has it or is a survivor or has been touched by it,” she said.
