Today's card uses the Circle Circus stamp set which is retiring, some new colors, and some colors that are being added to the Stampin' Up color line up.

Stamps: Circle Circus (retiring 127784) and Really Good Greetings( 130333 new in the 2013-14 catalog)
Ink: Calypso Coral, Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Pistachio Pudding, Cantaloupe Crisp, Basic Black

The very last day you can order retiring items is on June 3. The last day to order from the Occasions catalog is May 31 and that is also the first day you can order from the new Stampin' Up! 2013-14 catalog. If you want your own Circle Circus stamp set but you also want to get some of the new ink colors and you also want to get the Really Good Greetings then the first day and only day you can order from all of three sources is May 31.

Love this single stamp Sunshine! When it was first released I knew I had to have it. Just seeing it reminded me of the day when my son was about 5 and just out of the blue started singing this song to me. I can still see his little face and remember my heart feeling so full and happy.

Simply Sketched Sneak Peek

I am a big fan of the hostess set, Simply Sketched. I like that it is a line image set but that there is not a ton of coloring to do. I shared with you the poppy image and here is the vine with berry image.

The sentiment is also from the Simply Sketched set. I love this font and I know it will get a lot of use.

Not to worry you are not seeing double. I made another card using the same layout but reversed the colors so that I could use the Cherry Cobbler seam binding ribbon. The black taffeta ribbon I showed in the first sample is on the retiring list so if you like it you need to order it as it will not be in the new catalog.

Blue Poppies

I have been distracted lately. Lots of things to think about and decisions to make and we have had a house guest for the past week and a half. Let me introduce Coco.

Isn't she a cutie? It was tough going for the first few days but now we are all getting used to each other and things are going much smoother. If you are wondering how i made the postcard above, it is with the Stampin' Up! app. It is quick and easy to use, go to ITunes to check it out.

Over the weekend we went to a Rhododendron Garden near our house. They have an event on Mother's Day weekend with a plant sale and different speakers but I wanted to go to see one thing. Ready?

Blue Poppies!

I decided I wanted to try making my own blue poppies and thought about the new Stampin' Up! Hostess set called Simply Sketched. In this set there is a poppy image and here's what I came up with.
