Here’s an idea how to make beautiful bowls for cosmetics, jewelry or anything you like. The supplies are white oven-safe glass bowls, Vitrea 160 Glossy Ceramic Paint by Pebeo, flat-headed paint brushes and an oven. Take the paint and place your paint brush into the center of your bowl and brush upwards toward the lip of the bowl.  Leave some areas bare and some painted to achieve a dramatic effect. Let it dry for 24 hours. Once it dried, bake it in your oven following directions on the Vitrea 160 bottle. Choose bright juicy colors to feel the difference. Your mini bowls are ready!

The supplies are a bag of concrete, some sand, perlite, water, assorted plastic containers with relatively straight walls, a bucket, a box cutter or X-Acto Blade, a sturdy stick or large twig for mixing. First make a mix of concrete using perlite, concrete, sand and water and put it into the plastic containers. Let harden for a night and remove the containers. Now make a hole in the bottom with a screwdriver. Voila, plant your favorite flowers!

If you want to make some flower pots yourself and hesitate about the material, choose clay because it’s a very flexible and easy to craft material. How to make a clay pot? You’ll need a knife, some oven-bake clay, a rolling pin, non-stick baking paper, a ruler, house template printed and cut out and a smoothing tool.
