The performing heart believes the lie that God hasn’t made us enough. Our story isn’t pretty enough. Our story isn’t fancy enough. Our story well…isn’t enough. And so we put on our shiny shoes and snazzy hat and write our own story. I didn’t want people to know my pain. I didn’t want people to see my tears. I just wanted them to think that I had it altogether. And oh the sadness in that lie.

God has never needed us to have it altogether. But He requires us to accept the story He has written and continues to write for us. Why? Because He is the ultimate Author. He is even called “The Author and Finisher?”

The prophet Isaiah wrote “Does a book say to its author, ‘He didn’t write a word of me’? Does a meal say to the woman who cooked it, ‘She had nothing to do with this’”? And yet that is what the performing heart does every day. And it is a sin. Yes, sad to say but it is a sin.

And in order for our hearts to be reclaimed we have to own that sin. Repent of it. And then go on the quest to reclaim our heart. Reclaiming the performing heart starts by owning our story. So, I encourage you today to do two things in these next few weeks. Write down your story. All of it. Even the parts that you wish weren’t a part of it. And then tell your story to a person you trust with your heart. All of it. There is such freedom when we own truth and bring those things in the dark into the light.

Remember, no one chapter is the whole of your story. It is and always will be simply a piece…there is much left to write. And you can trust

My 2013 blogging has been on and off. As much as I’d like to blog everyday or join blog activities my time just not enough. Okey fine! blame it procrastination (sometimes) I know (guilty your honor) I lack time management in all aspect of my life I think. Sigh. What do you expect from a working-single mom? and because of that I miss A lot of online opportunities like to be with Fairy Hobmother and go shopping with him and buy my needed appliances as I have move to a new place. I hope Fairy Hobmother would forgive me for neglecting him (wink).

So what’s up with my April? I think my achievement for this month is I was able to visit PCSO and ask for the requirements, for what? Iris heart operation. I ask for financial assistance from PCSO, for now I’m processing the papers needed and I hope they will approve it. Another thing is, finally I decided to really try stock market! yeah, as in STOCK MARKET. I submitted my papers in my chosen stock broker which is Citisec Online. No, you don’t have to be rich to invest in stock market. If you have 5k (php) you can start investing in stock market. My Journey on this endeavor will be posted in my all about money, biz and more Shengkay.Biz blog. Thanks to my SSS loan because the proceed I received Is the one I use as my initial investment. Not that big but I am happy with it.

Anyway, to summarize my 2012-life’s been good to me. Especially my online stuff. My blog most of the month been in hiatus but been lucky to some of my HYIP venture. Also, the long wait is over for our first ever vacation (with my baby). Added another blog in 2012 Shengkay.Biz LOL eventhough I’m in hiatus I still manage to add to my already 5blog. LOL. With my work? congrats to all of us! yehey, we ended 2012 with zero incident meaning we hit our GOAL ZERO…which means? incentive! yes! moolah!

Thank you LORD for the the blessings i receive in 2012 and thank you for 2013. I know just like 2012 it will be a better one especially to Iris. I leave everything in your hand in 2013. I know you had a better plan in my life better than I plan it.

Its 10:58pm of 24th obviously, December. Watching Princess’s Man in GMA channel. My baby Iris is sleeping. Food? I just prepared macaroni salad, loaf bread with sweeten star margarine, softdrink and chicken adobo. Nothing really special. Haven’t attended Mass since Iris sleep early. I just want to be with my baby during this time and thank GOD for the gift of motherhood which I enjoyed for 2years and for all the blessings I  receive this year. No gift giving from me this year cause I am saving for Iris 2d echo this coming Dec.29 and for a possible heart surgery of Iris.

Anyway, I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. Lets not forget that this day is the day where Jesus is born to save us from sins. Lets celebrate His birth with our family.

We first visited the Baguio Chinese temple, it was a quiet place which is perfect for meditation and Iris enjoy the lion statue. Next  stop, was the strawberry plantation, unfortunately we we’re not able to pick strawberry cause it was not strawberry season, we just bought some strawberry products like jam. We also visit the Wright Park where we ride a horse– Iris enjoy it much among other activity. She also enjoy our boating at Burnham Park. My personal favorite is when we visit the Mines View Park (will share more photos next time) We get a glimpse of Igorot way of living in one of the Igorot showcase store. We tend to visit the botanical garden but it was under renovation. We also had a chance to see “the mansion” and buy some silver items at Ibays Silver Store. We did not visit the “Mary Grotto” with I think almost  a hundred step since I had Iris with me which I carry most of the time. As I mention my personal favorite place was the Mines View Park and this are one of our picture. I really love the dog. Her name is Pamela and her breed is St.Bernard. She is really a big dog! and a cutie one!

With Pamela’s cool get up shades and all, I am sure it would be great if she has the latest MLB baseball caps  like this one below ) which you can find at Spencersonline.com

On a lighter note, I have seen this photo in many of my freinds online (FB) and I actually use this one as my profile photo as my way of support to junk or at least repeal the CyberCrime Law. It has many version already and find them cute! Im using the first one (black &white) I just knew this mask just yesterday, promise! LOL. They call it Guy Fawkes Mask Anonymous.
