Many of us who read blog posts do not see the value in leaving a good comment. Well leaving a good comment can benefit everyone. Let’s see how comments can benefit you and what type of comments we should leave…

“You are here for a purpose. There is no duplicate of you in the whole wide world. There never has been, there never will be. You were rought here now to fill a certain need. Take time to think that over.” ~ Lou Austin

There are so many great blogs out there with a lot of valuable information that benefits us the home business entrepreneurs. Depending on what you’re looking for you’ll find it in blogs pertaining to your niche.

Why is that?

Well there’s a lot of bloggers who have home businesses.

They share their struggles and failures with us. These struggles and failures that they share are the same struggles and failures that we go through. It’s great to know that we’re not the only ones.

The best thing about their experiences is that a lot of good bloggers share what they did to get out of their struggles. They share what they did to attract leads, and what they did when they felt like quitting.

Bloggers share their mistakes and show that they’re not ashame to admit. Great bloggers show that they are human and personable. This is why you’ll see some bloggers that have a bunch of comments on each of their posts.

People in general find them valuable and they feel a connection with bloggers. On top of that, these bloggers form communities with other bloggers which makes it more of a close knit family.

But as a blogger or reader, a very important thing that you want to do is comment. It shows your appreciation for the information that they share, plus it’ll benefit you to get comments on your blog, plus traffic.

The Importance Of Leaving A Comment

Many of us think it’s not that important when leaving a comment, but there are so many benefits to it….

I would say there are three advantages to leaving a comment

Getting Answers - You can leave a comment by asking a question. There may have been a problem thats been bugging you or you may have been doing research on a specific plugin or anything else but have yet to find it. More than likely either the author or other people leaving comments may have the answer.

Giving Value – You may want to add something of value to the blog post. This gives you some authority and the readers can also look to you for answers. Sometimes the author or readers may have questions that you may have answers to which will pique their interest in wanting to know a little more about you.

Leverage – You can leverage author blogs to not only attract other bloggers and readers to your blog, but also it looks good on Google when you leave a valuable comment pertaining to the post. This will enable you to get more traffic to your blog or website.

What Should You Say In Your Comment

Sometimes saying “Great Post!”, or “Nice Job!” is just not enough. It really doesn’t show sincerity, appreciation, and doesn’t have any value in it. Don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t have to be a bunch paragraphs or a big story either, but just enough to show that you like the value the author has given and maybe you want to add something to it.

Here are a couple of ideas on what to say in your comment:

Pick A Point That Resonated With You

The author may have made a list of things within post. Pick one or more points that you really like and comment on it. Let them know why you pick those points.

Comment On Something You Disagree With

Now I’m not saying to bash the author, but there are some things you may not disagree with what the author has written. Let them know why and what you believe works. This can create a hot topic within the post.

Add Something To Enhance The Post

When I say enhance, I mean something of value. Let’s say the author’s post was about high traffic sites and they list 5 good sites to get traffic, you may want to add 2 more sites that have been working for you.

Comment On Something You Learned From The Post

The author may have pointed out a couple of things that you never thought of or have yet to learn. Comment about it and show your appreciation of them sharing this knowledge.

Give 3rd Party Validation

The post maybe on a product, service, affiliate program or maybe a company. You may be using the same thing and having success with it. Comment on how it’s working well for you as well as it is for the author.

Agree On A Valid Point

The author may have made a great point or couple of points that you really agree with. Comment on why you agree with it and show have you been applying it in your life or business.

These are 6 great ideas you can use when commenting on other people’s blog posts. It’s best to make them at least 2 to 3 sentences which shows your sincerity and how serious you are.

At times you can be speechless and I do have to admit that I have made really short, straight to the point comments. But usually my comments are at least 2 to 3 sentences long. I make every effort to make them short and brief packed with appreciation and value. But as long as you’re doing this consistently, you’re good to go!

Now It’s Your Turn!

How Often Do You Comment? What do you usually say in your comments? Do you see the value in commenting? Please share your comments below and share this post with your friends. I look forward to reading them!

Has any of your non-believing family and friends ever ask you this? It even get to the point where you question your ability to write good blog posts. But there’s certain things you need to know in order to get an audience and traffic to your blog. Let’s find out what they are….

“Your belief determines your action and your action determines your results, but first you have to believe.” ~ Mark Victor Hansen

Some of us have some unsupportive peers who don’t believe in our abilities to not only grow a home business but also write a blog that people want to read. After telling them our plans, we get a negative response from them.

This can lower our spirits when it comes to blogging. Not only do their comments ring in our brains, but also we conjure up the ghosts of failure. You know what they say “An idled mind is the devil’s workshop”.

When this happens we start the block out what we need to do to make sure that we actually do get readers to our blog. No matter how much advice we get from people who have successful blogs, we ask ourselves “Who am I to become successful in blogging”.

But here’s the thing to remember…

People like people, especially topics that they can relate to.

People want to read blogs from real people.

People want to read posts who have similar experiences and have solutions to their problems.

If you can establish that with your blog then you will definitely grow a big audience and traffic to your blog. This is a part of branding yourself depending on what your niche is.

So what can you do to start to build your audience?

Building An Audience With Your Blog

The first thing you want to make sure you want to do is have an attractive Title. You want to know what is the hot topic of your niche and use it as the title. A great way to come up with compelling titles is the through use of Headline Analyzers. You can google them and find many. Once you figure that out, pick what way you want to express to the topic…

Write A Rant – Everyone has something that really irritates them and want to express how they feel. If your readers see that you feel irritating about the same thing they’re irritated about, this can turn into a hot discussion within your comments.

Write A Humorous Post – The one thing I write about sometimes are the mistakes that I have made. Now it may have not been funny when I was making them, but when I look back, these mistakes tend to be funny. Expressing humorous moments is a great way to show your audience that you have a sense of humor.

Write A Good Story – A lot of people love stories, especially those that they can relate to. Writing a good story about yourself or someone else can draw attention to many readers.

Write A Scenario – One of the best ways to help your readers is to get them to think. Using scenarios may help them improve their business by asking “What If” questions as well as others. For Example: What if facebook blocked all home business owners? What other options do you have?

Now It’s Your Turn!

What do you do to connect with your audience? How do you write to your audience? Please share your comments below and share this post with your friends. I look forward to reading them!

“There are two levers to set a man in motion, fear and self-interest.” ~ Napolean Bonaparte

When we get excited about an opportunity, product or service, what do we usually do? We want to tell everyone and their mom, brother and sister about it.

Some of them can feel our excitement and want to invest, while we sound very “pitchy” to others. But either way it goes we really want to get the word out.

When it comes to online marketing, it’s a little different.

How so?

Because everyone is trying to get the word out about what they invested in.

This can pose a bit of a problem.

Everyone is talk, but no one is really listening. Everyone believes that what they have is all that and a bag of chips. This is the reason why only a small percentage of people are making money.

Now speaking of this small minority people, a lot us want to know what exactly their doing, because obviously they’re doing something totally different from the majority of people in the home business industry.

And the one thing that this minority people do is that they promote on the front-end what they’re target market wants. That Is any free training, ebooks, webinars, etc…

Keep in mind, it’s FREE!

FREE is everyone’s favorite word.

And if you promote something that you’re give for free, then you’re obviously going to get leads.

First Focus Is To Build Email List From Targeted Market

What type of training do people really want?

What are a lot of people struggling with?

They want training in generating traffic

They want to know how generate leads

They want to know what is their target market

They want to know how to make sales

And they want to know how to create a Marketing Funnel

These 5 things are probably the 5 common subjects people in the home business industry really want to know, especially if they’re marketing online.

But in order to build a big list in your email autoresponder, it would be wise to set up a capture on your website or blog catering to those that are focused on these subjects. Yes I know, there’s a lot of people promoting these training, but if you’re promoting value and have the training to back you up, then you will stand out. Especially if the majority of your promotion is value.

You want to sell the sizzle and not the steak!

Now For Your Opportunity, Products, Or Services

Can you start promote your opportunity, products, or services once they opt into your list?

You can, and as a matter of fact, you may even get a sale or two.

But here’s the thing to remember. People usually don’t buy until between the 4th to 7th email. Case study shows.

But in the meantime, the majority of your emails that you broadcast to your list, should contain a lot of valuable information that will help them, whether they’re involved in something or not.

Why?

Because they will see you as someone that really cares about their success, instead of someone that’s just trying to make money off of them. This is how you build a lot of trust with your list.

And instead of telling them how great your product is, because everyone’s product is great, but share a story of how you benefited from the product, and how others have too. Including 3rd party validation in your email helps a lot, meaning share the great things other people have said about the product.

Once all this is established, you’re on your way!

Many of us invest in different marketing systems thinking they’re the next big thing since sliced bread. But a lot of us have this mentality that it’s all going to magically bring us a lot of leads and success which usually isn’t the case. So the questions is why you’re not getting any leads and what do you have to do in order generate them?

“When a man feels throbbing within him the power to do what he undertakes as well as it can possibly be done, this is happiness, this is success.” ~ Orisen Swett Marden

Have you invested in a lot of marketing systems in order to get leads and sales? How were your results when you invested in them? Were they good or bad?

How did I come up with this topic? I was just looking at my team’s stats and a lot of them weren’t getting any good results. Not to put anyone on blast, especially myself since it is my team.

But if you’re getting value from me or anyone else, then there’s something you’re not doing in order to get the results you want. I do have to admit, when I first got into online marketing, I was guilty of not really going into action. It took me a while to get really get it in my head.

But once I did, I started getting leads on demand.

I went through a lot of trial and error, which probably you’re going through as well. But in the end the reward is Nice!

But the focus of this blog post is why you’re not generating very small amount of leads of any. I’m going to give you some reasons why I wasn’t and hopefully you can relate….

Why I Wasn’t Getting Any Leads

This section is to show you that we’re all in the same boat and the failures I go through and still go through in this industry. This is why I like the statement Fail Your Way To The Top

I was posting links everywhere

I didn’t sign up for any webinars to show me how to use the system

I put people in my email autoresponder without them know (bad Sherman)

I didn’t know how to use my autoresponder and how to connect it to the marketing system

I didn’t ask for help

When I first got it, I thought the system was going to run itself

I didn’t want to build any type of relationship with people on social media

Too lazy to read or watch any tips and strategies on how to generate leads

I was marketing to everyone and not a specific interested target market

I gave the system a trial period without me trying to put in time to learn how to use it

I was too cheap and skeptical to invest in paid marketing strategies

I was more interested in free systems, which I got leads, but made no money

I hope you got the point! Not to point fingers, but from talking to different prospects over the phone, a lot of these reasons why I wasn’t getting any leads were the same reasons why they weren’t.

Now you may want a straight answer. How do you get leads everyday? And to be honest with you, that really depends on how you want to go about to achieve it?

Why? Because there are many different strategies for you to choose from and they all pretty much work. When you know what to look for and put it to work for you, you can’t just not generate leads. It’s a given.

So What’s Really The Problem?

Now if you look at the list above, is it really a lack of skill set? Or is it not having the mindset and drive to learn all you can and take action?

It’s a little of both. Yes you don’t have the skill set, but if you don’t push yourself to do what you have to do to learn the skill set and apply it, then you’re just a sitting duck in the industry.

The one mistake I did with my team mates was that I didn’t reach out to personally call or email them to let them know that I’m available to help them (again bad Sherman).

The good thing I did was that I was sending them valuable information on personal development and growing their home business.

But here’s the thing you really have to remember if you want to succeed….

Your upline or sponsor isn’t really fully responsible for your success. You Are! You can’t keep pointing the finger at them when there are 3 fingers pointing back at you.

I thought about talking about the different marketing strategies you can use and I use in order to generate leads, but the real question is are you going to take action to really learn them, and even go through the trials and errors to perfect your skill set?

This is what I pushed myself to do, because I didn’t like not getting any results and I’m sure you don’t either. Once I did, I started getting results, my self-motivation went up, and I developed a passion for marketing. All you have to do is the same and this will happen for you!

Now It’s Your Turn!

Can you relate to the reasons why I wasn’t generating leads? What did you do about it? How are you motivating yourself? Please share your comments below and share this post with your friends. I look forward to reading them!

We all want readers and traffic when it comes to our blog post, but what will it take to attract them? Is it really that difficult to accomplish this you may ask…Actually it’s not and I’m going to give you 5 questions to ask yourself to make sure your blog posts are attractive…

“To will is to select a goal, determine a course of action that will bring one to that goal, and then hold to that action till the goal is reached. The key is action.” ~ Michael Hanson

When it comes to your blog, optimization is the key. You want to be able to set it up in a way that will attract a lot of visitors to your blog as well as the search engines like Google.

As you may or may not know, if you want more traffic, an important middle man that a lot of us bloggers make an effort to appease is Google. As time passes, google keeps changing it’s algorithm not to make it more difficult, but to make sure the content that we produce is reproduced several times over as well as many other tricks bloggers do to get good rankings and traffic.

How many times have you read content that was an exact copy of some content you read previously?

Or how many times have you did a search of a particular topic on Google and the search results were irrelevant to the topic you were searching for?

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not a big expert on Google algorithms or even a know-it-all when it comes to SEO (Search Engine Optimization), but what I do know is through experience of trial and error.

I know what has work for me and what hasn’t work for me, and the funny thing is the errors that I’ve made in a past, I see others doing it on their blogs.

But when it comes to blogging, I always keep my mind open to improve and I believe this is what all people who choose blogging as a strategy.

Also, I don’t see anything wrong in reproducing content or a topic as long as you make it your own. When it comes to blogging each person is unique and can bring their own flavor to their posts. So why be a carbon copy of someone else? This is a great way to brand yourself and Google and other search engines would appreciate it more.

Which brings us to the purpose of this blog. What can you ask yourself before writing your content?

Ask Yourself These 5 Questions…

1.Would Your Home Business Peers And People Interested In Home Business Read It?

If you’re doing network marketing, online marketing, affiliate marketing, or whatever

home business you’re in, would the content itself appeal to this market? Would you

be talking about tips and strategies to grow a business from home and/or or would

you talk about the different fears and getting over those fears as an entrepreneur?

2. Would Your Headline Attract Your Market To Just Click On Your Blog Posts?

If you want to people to at least click on your blog post, would your headline or title

attract them to do so? People look for solutions to solve their problems, and a quick

way to get them to read your content is to draw them in with a good headline stating

that you have some type of solution(s) to their problems.

3. Are You Using Too Many Keywords?

I know a lot of us may think putting a lot of keywords will help where in fact it can hurt

us. There have been many of times that I have tried to submit articles to article

directories and have been rejected because of the number of keywords I had. To

them the posts seem to pitchy and spammy. You want to keep the keywords to a

minimum between 1% to 3% of the content.

4. How Unique Is Your Content?

If you want readers to really get to know you and Google to like you, then it’s best

you bring your personality into your content. Even if you reproduce similar content,

put your own words and flavor into it. Also, you want to give your readers another

point-of-view to look at instead of using the same point of view. If, for example,

everyone is talking about how 97% of people are failing in network marketing, why

don’t you talk about the 3% that aren’t.

5. Do You Always Point At Your Readers, Or Do You Involve Yourself?

Instead of using the word “YOU” all the time, why not use the words “Us”, “We”,

“Our”, or “Let’s” more often? This is a great way to get personal with readers and

show that you’re not the God of Home Business. There’s a difference in being an

someone that has a lot of experience and someone that claims the be the perfect

God of this industry. You will seem more approachable to your readers.

When it comes to your home business, how much do you value the opinions of others? Sometimes we put more value on other people’s opinion over our own and sometimes that can be hazardous to our business. Let’s see what we can do to put more value on our own decision to start a home business and maintain it….

“If you really put a small value upon yourself, rest assured that the world will raise your price.” ~ Author Unknown

How do you see yourself?

This is very important to know. Why?

Knowing this will be the deciding factor of you pushing you to failing your way up to success or failing your way down to quit.

If you really value yourself and see no limitations upon what you can do, you will be able to achieve the success you want, and in the future you will say to yourself “I can’t believe I did that.”

On the other hand, if you don’t value yourself as much, you will put limitations on yourself as well as let others put limitations on you and in the future you well say to yourself “I wish that I had just went ahead and did that.”

When you make decisions for yourself, it’s important that you have a strong faith behind it. You want to be very sure that you made the right decision for yourself, and not budge from it. When you’re like this, this is a strong characteristic of a true leader, a true entrepreneur.

Once you make that decision in your mind, you’ll make the efforts to make it your reality. You’ll follow a particular daily routine to up until it comes to be despite what anyone else may say.

But as you know, there’s always going to be people that have to put their two cents in. We all know someone that, although they may not have ever done what you’re currently doing, they have to dictate your future and how it’s going to turn out.

No matter how much you try to defend yourself, they’re always going to out argue you. Here’s a great quote from Mark Twain:

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

They will always talk about their own experience, or the experiences of others and not recognize that you may have the ability to be different from them and succeed. If you ever get the chance, check out the story of Roger Bannister who broke the 4 minute mile in the 1952 Olympics. He also was told that it was humanly impossible to break run the mile under 4 minutes.

Holding Your Opinion Above Others That Say You Can’t

Here’s the thing to remember. Everyone has their own experiences. We come to this world as individuals even though we’re all connected spiritually.

Look around you. Everything you see was started out as an idea and then brought to our reality by different individuals. The computer, the car, the internet, the electrical light, McDonalds, the list goes on and on. I’m sure that a lot of people who came up with these ideas had some haters.

But did they hold their opinions above others?

No. As a matter of fact they may have leveraged their ideas to make their products and services even better. Can you imagine if they would’ve took other people’s opinion seriously? We all would probably be living in caves clubbing each other over the head.

So here’s a question. Why would you put your passion and makes you happy in the back burner because of the opinion of others? What’s their experience is there experience and not yours.

So if their opinion is not there to help you progress, then why would you want to put it above your own opinion? The only time you would even consider someone else’s opinion is if it’s going to help you progress forward. Other than that, their level of importance should not be anywhere near yours.

So keep doing what you’re doing, and have strong faith in the decisions that you make. Remember, those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind!

Most of us have heard that money is to be attracted and not chased. But what does that actually mean? The best way to figure that out is to figure out what you have a good handle on and why. Let’s see what it is and how you can transfer that to attract money…

“Our minds become magnetized with the dominating thoughts we hold in our minds and these magnets attract to us the forces, the people, the circumstances of life which harmonize with the nature of our dominating thoughts.” ~ Napolean Hill

Many of you ask how do you become a money magnet with your home business? Those of us that are really serious do so much research on how to grow our business and we tend to overwhelm ourselves with information.

Then there are a handful of us that are getting a lot of traffic, leads and sales effortlessly. Now the question is, how are they doing this?

What is it about these people that make it so easy to attract money as oppose to the rest of us who are struggling to make just pennies a month? Are these people involved in a secret society or do they know some type of magic that makes them a money magnet?

Or is it how they think?

Yea yea, you’re probably thinking, how can you attract money by the way you think? You probably heard of the book Think And Grow Rich by Napolean Hill and probably read it. What confuses you is how can you attract money by the way you think.

Well It’s not a matter of how you think but what you focus on.

For example:

Single men and women who get around their friends to bash the opposite sex. They’re so focused on the fallacies of the opposite sex that they end up having a relationship with that person with those same fallacies they talked about.

It’s almost as if they date this person in order to validate their opinions of the opposite sex. What’s worse is that they keep pointing out those fallacies.

Even if they were to break up with that person, then they usually end up with another person like them.

Now sometimes they end up with a great person that is the total opposite of the negative images they perceived of the opposite sex. But what usually happens is that they look for those fallacies and magnify it more than what it really is. That just tell you that their not ready for that person because of how they think.

In Attracting Money What Do You Focus On?

When you think of money do you focus on the activities you need to do in order to attract money, or do you focus on everything that’s a scam and greedy people that just want to take you up the road?

However you represent what money is, is what you’re going to attract.

If you have no belief that you’re able to attract a lot a money, you’re going to look for ways to validate your belief so that you don’t make any money.

You ever thought about why you’re good at something whether it be a hobby or career skill set? There is a level a belief, focus, and the way you vibe with it that enables you to really be good at it.

Now what if you had no belief and was negative towards your talent or skill? Do you still think you’d be good at it? Do you think you’ll even try to attempt to become better at it every day?

More than likely you wouldn’t. Why? Because again you’ll look for reasons why you’re not good at that particular skill or talent. The first or second time you make an attempt and fail, you’ll just quit.

Now a true entrepreneur is so passionate about what they do, they don’t care about the failures because they already know that they’ll reach success, even if they have to fail their way to success.

What Vibe Should You Be In To Attract Money?

The vibe that you should be in is the passion you for anything you do that will give you enough energy to take the necessary action to get to your goals no matter how many obstacles and failures come your way.

It’s like you’re a car. You can have a great car that gets the best gas mileage, map out your trip to get to your destination, but if you have no fuel, you won’t be going anywhere.

So how do you build that passion to make money? You have to find something you really like doing in order to attract money. If you’re passionate about something it will take a lot less effort for you to act on it than it would if you had just a little liking towards it.

When you can actually feel for it, like you feel for an instrument when you learn it, or when you feel for a vehicle when you really learned how to drive it, or when you feel the music when you’re dancing, that’s when you’ll start to attract money.

Are you still in learning mode when it comes to growing your home business? One obstacle that keeps hold us back is ourselves and the question at hand is how can we get into the mindset of taking action? Let’s see how we can do this so that we can move forward…

“Waiting is a trap. There will always be reason to wait. The truth is, there are only two things in life, reasons and results, and reasons simply don’t count.” ~ Dr. Robert Anthony

There are so many great online and offline marketing tools and strategies you can leverage to grow your home business. Some are really easy to use while others are a little more complicated.

But in all, they make growing a home business a lot easier and fun to do.

You can set online marketing tools up to help you run your business on autopilot. This will definitely allow you to not work so hard on your business letting you have more free time for yourself.

Although our businesses can be fun and exciting, we still want to be able to do other things. But here’s the problem when it comes to using these different tools and strategies….

A lot of us stay in “learner’s mode” for a lot longer than we should.

We figure that we need to know everything there is to know about that tool and strategy so that we don’t make any mistakes and waste a lot of time. Everything has to be done according to the book.

But let me ask you….

Is everything really done by the book perfectly?

I can tell you it isn’t for me..

I work in IT (Information Technology) where I work on Servers, Macs, PCs, Printers, Network Switches, Email, etc… Yes I went to school, but everything I do on these machines and software wasn’t all in the book.

Why?

Well for one, I got my degrees and certifications in 1999 and 2000. Now how much has technology changed since then? It’s 2013 and we have ipods, ipads, smart phones, social media, and the list goes on. None of this stuff was in my textbooks because they didn’t exist back then.

Two, there’s a new virus’, softwares, and software upgrades just about every month and I have to figure out how to use each one. I can’t take a lot of time reading a book and procrastination. I have to read a summary and use good old trial and error to really understand how they work.

Catch my drift?

Being Left Behind Ain’t No Fun

How many of us know someone that started out the same time as we didn’t, then all of a sudden, out the blue, they become this successful expert? Some of us are proud of their accomplishments but the rest of us hate with envy.

Either way it goes, they took action, went through the trials and errors, and failed their way to the top.

So what’s holding us back?

Why don’t we just take action?

From what I see, fear has a lot to do with it, but above all, we don’t have any belief in ourselves. We start to become our own enemy and make up excuses of why we should do it the “next day”.

But that next day will turn into next week, then next week will turn into next month, then next month will turn into next year, then all of a sudden we forget about it.

The worst thing you can do is waste time making mistakes and learning from them. It’s better than wasting time procrastinating and not gaining any progress, results or learning anything right?

When it comes to the process of growing your home business, this is something that you want to talk about. This is your story that you can share with those going through the same thing and this will be your still you can share on stage once you reach your goals.

So why not be your own inspiration first as well as be the inspiration to others? Let’s take action and pay it forward!

Jim Rohn use to call them the birds and I call them haters. But things for sure is that these negative messages can get to us. But you have to ask yourself, are they facts or are they opinions? Let’s see how we can overcome them and move forward with our home businesses…

“Confidence doesn’t come out of nowhere. It’s a result of something… hours and days and weeks and years of constant work and dedication.” ~ Roger Stauback

Who can you believe?

You probably heard the reputation of what you do from a lot of your peers.

Good and Bad…

But who can you really believe?

If you’re reading this, more than likely you heard of all of the negatives things in having a home business whether you’re doing network marketing, affiliate marketing, or having a traditional home business.

Your peers probably told you that you wouldn’t be the type of person that can make it in this type of industry. They point out all your fallacies just to give you their “valid” reasons.

If you’re in network marketing, they may say those pyramid things don’t work or they may be a little positive and tell you that you have to get in early to make money in these darn things.

But are they facts or just opinions?

If you want to be good at anything, you must practice it in order to master it right? A coach or teacher will give you some type of routine to follow so you can get better each day.

Wouldn’t this apply the same with having a home business?

If you’re just starting out, more than likely you’re not going to be successful over night, but there have been a few that took a couple of months to become successful, while others would take years, sometimes 10 or more years to reach their goals.

Since this is the case, are what your peers tell you facts or opinions?

Mixing opinions for facts is a strong reason why a lot of people quit their home business. If they don’t see any progress within a very short period of time while others is giving them reasons while they won’t make it, then eventually it’ll get to the point where you’ll be whispering to yourself why this isn’t working.

View Them As Opinions And Move On

Easier said than done, right?

Actually it can be done with ease. One way is to look at how they think. Do they think like an entrepreneur or do they think like an employee?

The difference is how focused they are on their passion and the income.

Another thing you can look at is what they’re doing to improve their lifestyle? Do they just sit their and complain about the gov’t, the other religion, the other nationality, the other race of people? Or do they go out and do something positive to improve their own lives?

Usually people who are making strong efforts to improve their own lives would be more positive about what you’re doing to improve yours. And they may actually give you some sound tips and strategies you can use.

Also you may want to look at who do you hang around the most? Are they people who just grope and complain everyday or are they really good influential people where you guys can brainstorm about how to improve your lives?

You know what they say. Your income is the reflection of the 5 People you are around the most! This is so true, especially if you look at your conversations with your closest friends. What do you usually talk about?

Most “Facts” Are Nothing But Opinions

Here’s how I look at it. What people deemed as facts are nothing but opinions. These opinions are just statistics that can be improved on.

Once you figure out why people aren’t doing as well with the home businesses, you can learn from those statistics and figure out what you need to do to become successful with your home business.

Instead of becoming your own enemy and limiting yourself, why not become your own savior and put no limits on what you can do. Why live someone else’s limiting beliefs?

When you become really connected with yourself, and only focus on those that’s that resonate within you, then the world is your oyster!!!

How many of you get really offended when someone tells you “No” to your offer? Well a “No” can be a good thing! Let’s see how we can change our thinking to get more of the results we want….

“Don’t take anything personally. Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.” ~ Don Miguel Ruiz

The infamous word “No” scares a lot of us in this industry.

It is a word that actually we let decide for a lot of us whether we become successful or not. But why do we give this word that much power?

What if we equate this word “No” to the word “stumble”? Would it be just as powerful? Could we keep going if every time someone tells us no we think of the word “stumble” automatically?

I don’t know about you, but I can definitely say I would. The word stumble just means it’s just a minor mistake to me and I can correct it easily.

But here’s the thing with a lot of us, and I have come across a lot of people who were like this. When they hear the word “No” they actually take this really personally.

Quite a few times, I had people “snap” on me when I told them that I wasn’t interested in looking into their opportunity. And this was the internet! Can you imagine if it was offline, belly to belly? It’s a good thing I took some self-defense classes LOL.

Whenever you get over emotional over a “No” you really start to become closed minded and block other ideas and opportunities from coming in order to make your business better. Why? Because you are so focused on how awful and despicable the other person is.

When you think like this, do you know how many good ideas and opportunities that you block when you take rejection that personally?

It’s a wonder why some people succeed in this industry while the rest don’t.

Now here’s the real question: How can you view the word “No” as the word “stumble”?

It’s been taught to us many of times….

How Many “No’s” Until A Yes Cliché

Yes you probably heard this many of times

But before you stop reading this post, pay attention because it will help you with your business whether you’re doing online marketing, offline marketing, or talking to prospects belly to belly. It doesn’t matter, because knowing this will change the way you think and your business.

Now a few times I mentioned this way of thinking in a couple of posts in the past, but just in case you missed it, I’ll mention it again.

If you want equate the word “No” to the word “stumble”, then what better way to do it than to look at it as a stat! Check out the post Why It’s Important To Know Your Stats

For Example:

In one of my online marketing campaigns, I know that between generating 60 to 90 leads, that will equate to 1 sales conversion. So I jot that down in my online marketing campaign spreadsheet.

When I was buying leads to talk to, I know that after talking to 150 people, I’ll get 1 sale, which wasn’t great, but at least I knew my numbers.

But here’s the good thing… the more I did these two thing, the more sales I got because the campaigns got better and phone skills got better.

So even though the sales weren’t as great at first, I knew what to do in order to get more sales. Now with that type of thinking, would you think that a “No” would be more like a “stumble” or a “Marketing Statistic”?
