Probably one of the scariest thing for a lot of us is to get off of our computer and meet those same people offline. Now the question is why is that? There shouldn’t be anything to be nervous about right? Lets see how going offline would be a benefit from you…

How often do you engage people online?

All lot of us get so caught up in figuring out a way to get people to see what we do that we put building a relationship with them on the back burner.

Yes I know, everyone on social media is out there try to do the same thing you’re doing.

But here’s a kick start…

Be up front with people!

Let them know that your main focus at the get going is to get to know people first before going into anything further…

Wow, this sounds like a date LOL

But it also works in building business relationships…

You want to be able to engage people and connect with them. If you’re able to vibe with people from the get go, then it’ll be much easier to present them to your business and maybe sponsor them.

But one thing is that people make building relationship harder than what is …

Even to the point where they don’t want to take the relationship offline if that person lives near them.

So what’s going on inside them to make the afraid of taking the online relationship offline?

Why People Don’t want to take the relationship Offline

Here’s a few reasons why I believe there’s a lot of people afraid to meet their online friends offline

1.        They weren’t being real from the get-go – When you meet someone at first online, don’t lie about yourself, especially about your success. It usually comes out later whether you were real with the person or not. You don’t have to tell them how much you make, you just have to be real with people.
2.        Do not have a lot of self confidence – You may feel small to people you meet online. Why? You may think they’re a lot more successful than you, and you don’t measure up to them. You want to keep in mind we’re in the business of helping people, and where you are in your business shouldn’t matter at all.
3.      To o Arrogant To Meet People – Believe it or not, there are some real arrogant people out there. It’s understandable that you want to be around people who are just as successful as you , if not more, but do not hold your nose up in the air when it comes to others that’s trying to make it. You never know what you can learn from them, and they may become more successful than you.
4.    Over-exaggerating their own success – now if you’re making a couple of hundred dollars a month, that’s fine, but If you’re making this and you’re telling people you’re making a couple of thousand of dollars a month when you’re really not, then there’s a problem. If you’re bragging that much about it, people are going to want to see proof and want to know what exactly you’re doing to make that amount. If they’re doing the same thing, then there’s going to be a bunch of red flags.

  Why It’s Great To Meet People Offline

I think one of the biggest advantages of meeting people offline is that you build a stronger connection with people. I’ve met a couple of people offline and it was one of the greatest experiences in my home business career.

We actually got a chance to know each other better and talk about different strategies to build our home business. We talked about our struggles and our solutions. We saw what each other was doing and went to work. And fortunate, we did things outside of business. Sometimes we go to lunch, and other times we’ll meet at a bar or dance club. Either way it goes, our business relationships got stronger and little by little we became more successful with our businesses.

There is a difference between someone blowing you off and someone who really want to start a home business. What we want to do is focus on the one’s that want to start a home business but believe they don’t have the money. Let’s see what we can say to them….

If you really want something, you’re going to find a way to get it, right?

If you’re not serious about it, you’re not going to put too much effort to get it. You can measure anyone’s desire by how much effort and their willpower they have if they really want to achieve something.

As far as prospecting go, this fits perfectly.

How many times have you presented to someone your business opportunity, they got really excited about it, but then they give the excuse that they don’t have the money.

What a bummer, huh?

Well sometimes you have to get your prospects to think about different ways they can get the money because a lot of times, they’re not going to do it themselves, at least not at that moment.

And it’s funny out it works…

If they can do this, this really tells you how successful people think different than unsuccessful people.

Now the question is, how are you going to help them get the gears in their head turning?

Well let me share some Top Earner Secrets that I got from Leaders like Ray Higdon and others.

Ways To Get Their Gears Turning To Come Up With The Money

Here are some responses that Top Earners say to their prospects.

1. Just Curious, just want to know if you had worked out the money, what would have been the biggest factor in your coming up with the money? Pretty clever huh? This may give them an epiphany moment to get their wheels turning to what they can do now to get the money to join you.
2. I appreciate that, but isn’t the main concern is how you can enjoy the benefits NOW without suffering any longer? Now this will get them to look at their current situation which they really don’t want to be in anymore. When you take them back to this, they will focus more into your solution rather than giving more excuses. In this microwave generation we want things now that wait for them later!
3. Let’s me ask you this, if you had the money would you move forward? This will determine if they are a good, quality prospect or not. If they say yes, then you can help them come up with ideas of how they can come up with the money. Whether they have a yard sale, pawn something of value, borrow money from friends, etc…
4. What’s the worse thing that can happen if you don’t invest? Again, this will take them back to their current situation, which they don’t want to be in. This questions goes a little deeper of why they even looked into your opportunity in the first place.
5. Out of all the benefits you seen, what’s the real reason why you don’t want to invest? This is after you show them the different packages, especially the package they feel more comfortable investing in. We all know the benefits of network marketing and how it can actually save us money through just the tax benefits, and it would be hard to come up with a reason why anyone wouldn’t want to start with a network marketing business.

Like I mentioned before, if your prospects are really driven, then they will come up with different ways to get the money needed to join you. Why would you want someone that isn’t as driven as you in the first place? Focus on people that have a drive and see your business soar!

It’s great showing a lot of confidence to your prospects when you approach them. But some of us tend to over-exaggerate on the success that we are having. Let’s see how this over-exaggeration can a lot of times backfire on us….

The great thing being in a great business are all of the success stories we encounter. There are so many rags to riches stories that you ear, it’s more than most of us can even count.

When it comes to doing any type of home business, you want to have a strong belief, a lot of confidence, and a lot of posture.

You want to get to a point where the word “NO” is just another word, and not get really emotional about.

Now at first, this may be difficult for all of us that just started a home business, and really become emotionally attached to it. When we get a “NO” from family, friends, and other peers we get personally offended.

Now even though, they’re actually rejecting the opportunity and not us, we don’t see it that way.

Some of us fight through it by getting involved in a lot of personal development. Reading a lot books, going to our meetings, and listening to audios really help us a lot. It keeps us open minded to what’s out there to leverage in order to build our home businesses, and also we develop a stronger posture than before.

If we keep this up, we start to look at a “NO” as a statistic more than a personal offense.  We brush it off our shoulders and move it to the next person.

But for the rest of us, we still don’t take objections or rejections as well.

Instead, to cover up our emotions, we tend to over-exaggerate what we’re all about when it comes to a home business opportunity.

Now it’s one thing to talk about how well the company is doing, if it is doing well, but it’s another thing when we exaggerate how successful we are when it comes to getting leads, sales and sponsors.

Why Exaggerate When You Can Just Qualify Prospects?

Why Over-Exaggerate your success when you can take control of the whole conversation? You want to work with people who are really interested in what you do and are really serious in becoming successful.

Why would you exaggerate how much your make with your business, when you’re not sure if they’re the type of person that will do what it takes to become successful?

A lot of prospects who are really skeptical will always want some type of proof. This is where you have to think like an entrepreneur and having a lot of posture comes into the picture.

You want to be the master of asking qualifying questions. When you do this, now your prospects have to prove to you why they would be perfect to work with you.

When you over-exaggerate your success, you not only look desperate, but also you it may come to a point to where you have to prove your case. And if you’re not as successful as you said you were, it won’t look pretty.

So why even start?

Get yourself to the point to where they feel that you don’t need them. When they feel this, and you will resonate with them more, and you’ll find more people who will show you how serious they are!

You may be running into so many different online and offline marketing strategies to help you grow your home businesses. This may make you feel like a kid in the candy store but yet you also don’t want to get any cavities. Let’s see why its important to stick with one strategy at a time…

Probably most exciting thing to me are the different strategies you can use to grow your business. I do feel like a kid in a candy store when it comes to all of these different marketing strategies both online and offline.

when it comes to being an entrepreneur, leverage is the key. You can get more done and less time when you can wisely use leverage.

I can remember when I first started doing network marketing, I use to wonder how people can get so many people in such a short amount of, especially if they didn’t have a big warm market.

After much research, I discover the different gold mines when it came to marketing.

I felt so relieved and my belief shot up.

But here’s the thing…

The internet has this reputation if giving you good information…

But…

Sometimes it can get so overwhelming

When I was using just 5 different marketing strategies, both online and offline, I had some good results, but not enough to grow my home business.

I even got burned out from frustration because I wasn’t going anywhere…

But what I found was there are a lot of people that were in my same shoes.

When it comes to online marketing, information overload is a big problem. There are so many of us home business owners who go through it. We want to succeed so bad, that we make an effort to swallow up everything we see on the internet.

It’s as if we feel like we’re going to miss something important if we don’t take advantage of it. But should we do this in our expense to succeed, especially if we’re just starting out?

One Great Strategy Is All We Need To Get Us Going 

One thing I do like to stress is that it’s important to set up a marketing funnel which your traffic will go through so you can funnel in all the people who are serious about a home business.

But setting a marketing funnel up and directing the people into that funnel is another thing.

Now many of you that are reading this may or may not have a marketing funnel. Like I mentioned, as entrepreneurs leverage is key, and the easiest thing to do is to invest in an attraction marketing system with a marketing funnel already set up for you. All you have to do is plug and play.

Now the big task to ask yourself is how to get people into the marketing funnel.

That’s where the different online and offline marketing strategies come into play. As far as strategies, you really only need to start with just one strategy and master it. The strategies that I have used and had success with were Pay Per Click, Solo Ads, Craigslist, Bandit Signs, and of course Blogging.

Right now I’m just using two which are blogging and solo ads. With just using these two, I have my time to myself as well as getting a lot better results because I’m more focused.

Now if you’re brain is going in different directions to the point that you’re not getting the results you want, then it probably would be wise to cut off some fat from your marketing.

All you need is to get just enough traffic into marketing funnel, let it work it’s magic, then you’ll start to get more sales. Just as easy as that.

So just start with one strategy, and once you really get it going, then you can move on to another one.

Have you ever wonder what’s going through the minds of your prospects when you approach them? There’s a lot going on, but one thing’s for sure, we all do want life to get better everyday. Let’s figure some of things that goes on in our prospects mind and how we can improve our approach….

Many of us who approach people offline want to know exactly what to say to prospects. For some of it can be very difficult while for other’s it’s a piece of cake.

A lot of us chased people in malls and groceries stores and didn’t get anywhere.

We all were taught to get as many exposures as we can, exposure meaning watching the videos, but usually our prospects don’t watch our presentations.

Some of were literally taught to bring our friends and family to our company meetings without telling them where we were going. Which usually would probably be a legal matter.

But on top of that, we were told to build relationships with people, and connect with them..

Now we’re getting somewhere!

Why is it important to build rapport with people, whether it be people you already know or don’t know?

Well people want a sense of oneness.

We like to hang around people who are like us.

We want to be around people who not only have a lot of things in common with us, but those people who understands us.

These are the people we can go to when we have problems, because they understand and a lot of times they have solutions.

That’s another keyword. SOLUTIONS

But to come to that point, we must figure out what’s on the prospects mind by building rapport, finding and building that connection.

How To Really Connect With Your Prospects 

There’s a lot of things going on in your prospects mind, and it’s not your business opportunity.

Things like:

Dam, the bills are due in two weeks and I barely have any money

I have to pay for Johnny’s and Cindy’s Daycare by next week

My Rent just went up and after paying all my bills and rent I’ll only have a little for groceries

I really hate my job

I really hate my boss

Gas prices are going up and it takes me an hour to get to my job. I wish they would just give me a raise.

I really need a new car because I don’t have the money to keep fixing this one.

I wish I can take the wife and kids to the amusement park but I just don’t have the money

If you ask me, I wouldn’t be thinking about starting a business if I’m struggling. So why would that be the first thing that comes out of your mouth when you approach a prospect offline?

This is why building a strong rapport is so important. You want to get your prospects to talk about themselves, and not saying anything about your business.

Yes I know, they’re not going to talk about their problems from the start, but your goal is to actually just connect with them. That should be your main focus. Then later on you can gradually get into what they’re problems are.

Once this is done, you can relay to them that you were or are going through some of the same problems and you get involved in a program that’s helping you get out of it. By this approach, they are looking for any SOLUTIONS that will help them out as well.

The downfall of many people with home business can be pointed to a number of reasons. One of those reasons is not know how well your marketing campaigns are doing. Let’s see why it’s so important to know your marketing stats…

Have you heard of stories of people struggling for a number of years, then all of a sudden within 6 months their businesses exploded?

We all heard those stories…

But yet we wonder how true they are?

Could it be possible?

Were they already successful, but not as successful with their business, but found out what made people tick?

Did they become a member of a secret society?

Well, maybe not becoming a member of a secret society, but all of these questions pop into our heads. And for those of us who really believe success can happen, we wonder how did they do it. What’s their secret?

Well there is a number of things we can look at.

But probably the most important thing is how much they invest in themselves first. How much do they invest in their mind to actually keep it open and to keep themselves going?

This is very, very important, because with a closed mind, you’re bound to reject opportunities that will help you get to the point where you want to be.

It surprises me how much so many people aren’t willing to invest in themselves, let alone their businesses. But who am I to judge?

Now I’m not saying invest all of your money into yourself and business. That will be pretty risky. I’m saying invest in enough to test to see what works and what doesn’t.

This brings us to the topic of this blog. If you want to increase your sales, you want to figure out your marketing statistics. Without knowing this important information, you will be in the dark and as a result, get stuck in a rut.

What To Look For As Far As Statistics 

Knowing your specs are vital!

You want to be able to figure out how many people you need in order to get 1 sale. Once you figure that our, you want to either keep doing the same activity, or tweak it a bit to lower the number of people in order for you to get one sale.

Now a lot of people find this really tedious…

And it really isn’t.

You just go to know what to look for, and record it which take a couple of seconds.

Some of the stats you may want to look for is?

• How much daily traffic are you getting
• How much opt ins are you getting
• Whats your email open rate
• How many emails you need to send out to get 1 sale
• What’s your bounce rate
• How many clicks you’re getting
• How many opt ins you need to get 1 sale

You catch my drift?

Once you figure this out, you have a good idea of what you need to do to in order to increase your sales conversions.  I mean, that’s why we’re in business, right? To make money…

A lot of online marketing systems have tracking systems, and you can also use a spreadsheet program like Microsoft Excel to track your daily statistics. And I can tell you this, spending time on this will be worth every penny you get!

With all the obstacles that come our way, we sometimes get off track and lose focus on our “why”. Let’s see why it’s important to turn to our “why” to get back on track…

How many times have you felt drained from all of the obstacles, objections, and rejection that came your way? You can’t be no punk when it comes to trials and tribulations, huh?

Especially if you have a home business…

Before we get into a home business, we don’t realize how the trials and tribulations is going to effect us. Yes we know of getting “No’s”, but sometimes those “No’s” can be harsh, especially coming from people we really respect like our family and friends.

Maybe the first 5 may be ok, but after that it get to most of us. We become so focus on getting good results then we become more fearful of what people may say.

And a lot of us let this fear get the best of us.

In my last post An Idle Mind Is The Devil’s Workshop I talk about all the negative thoughts that tend to seep into our minds. At least we let them in when we don’t get the response that we want from the ones that’s closest to us.

This can, and for the most of us, will have a negative, energy draining effect on us. When this happen, our minds close it’s doors to all the possibilities to grow our home businesses, and open it’s doors to all the reasons why we “can’t” do it.

And it’s sad to say that many people with a lot of potential will quit before they even scratch the surface of getting started.

In that previous blog post I also talk about what we need to do in order to get back on track. Getting back to ourselves, to me, is getting back on track. Ourselves, our true selves, is the Godlike energy  within us that will divert our focus back onto our businesses. But what do I really mean by that?

Reconnect To Our Godlike Resource Energy To Get Back On Track

I really like the quote towards the top of this blog post. When our minds is exposed to nothing but failure after failure, we need a recharging. This recharging will get us back into the rhythm of success.

Whether you believe there is a God or not, you can honestly say that there is something within us that keeps us going, no matter what comes our way. But one thing is for sure, that story, that reason we whispered to ourselves to start a home business reconnects to it and re-energizes it.

And I’m not talking about the same, monotonous story that the average person uses on why they started a home business.

I’m talking about the story that truly resonates with us.

I’m talking about that passion within side of us that we get really giddy about. The type of passion that we can lose sleep over from thinking about it all the time. The type of passion that makes us like the energizer rabbit where we just keep going, and going and going.

When it comes to our passion, we are like children on Christmas Eve, not able to sleep a wink that night. Ok, that might have been corny, but you get the idea.

And like the quote says, once we figure our this passion within us, then we’ll truly know our purpose. The home business that we have, will be something we leverage to fulfill our purpose.

Once we divert our attention to our purpose, we are re-energized and right back on track to success!

The post Reopen Your Mind For Success By Diverting Your Attention Back To Your Purpose appeared first on Sherman Smith's Blog.

This is an old wise saying, especially a great saying you can apply to your business. If you’re new or been in the home business industry for a while, then you must pay attention to this post…

  “Don’t feed your mind with negative thoughts. If you do, you will come to believe them.” ~ Catherine Pulsifer

If you’re stagnant in your business, do negative thoughts tend to pop into your mind?

Do you ask yourself questions like:

Are the leaders hiding something from me?

Is this really a scheme?

Does anyone “really” make money from this?

Did I get involved too late?

Am I really wasting my time?

Why am I so horrible at this?

and so on and so forth….

It’s funny how these thoughts pop into our head, especially when we don’t see any good results coming in. The more we sit there and think about it, the more we become vulnerable to disempowering thoughts.

This goes with the title “An idled mind is the devil’s workshop”. Once we start with one negative thought, it leads to the next one and the next one, it we getting into a tirade of negative thoughts which eventually we’ll quit this industry.

And you know what’s worse?

When we start to hear it from outside sources. Whether it be from TV, radio, or friends and family. It’s like we have our minds open to why we need to quit and not get involved again.

On top of that, when those people we should be around gives us inspiration we start to think they’re stupid and naive. When our minds is in that negative spiral, we just don’t want to hear that “shit!”.

Yes, Even Successful People Get Into The Negative Mindset

There have been many occasions that successful people got into this mentality. I’ve seen many of documentaries where they loose belief in themselves and just wanted to quit.

But somehow they found the energy to keep going until they became successful.

And we wonder what did they do?

How did they get their back from against the wall?

I believe in this thing called “The Law Of Attraction”. To me, the law of attraction is what you open your mind to and feed. You can either open your mind to all the negative hype about your business and/or industry, or you can open your mind to what you can do for your business to really take off.

What you focus on mainly will determine your outcome. You’re born and then you transition, but in the middle of this life, those 80, 90, 100 years you’re in the process of living.

There is a reason why you’re in a process, and I truly believe that it’s for a strong purpose. And that purpose will lead to your destination in this life, depending on what you focus on.

But the process of living is the most important. Now imagine, if you thought like that about becoming successful in your business. If you focus on the process of growing your business, meaning what you need to do in order to do so, you will start to attract, or take notice of all the different strategies you to do so.

And it’s funny, it’ll probably be the same strategies you’ve seen over and over again, it’s just that you never took notice. Especially if you went into a negative tirade, whispering to yourself on what can go wrong or what is wrong.

Now imagine if you switch your thinking to something that’s going to attract the success you really want. When that belief is strong, and you actually get your mind to work, eventually you will start to see success, and eventually it will grow exponentially. When you do this, I believe you’re reconnecting with yourself and God spiritually. And when you don’t, you disconnect yourself and don’t get what you want. But that’s my take on it.

So how and what are you going to keep your mind open to?

Many of us who read blog posts do not see the value in leaving a good blog comment. Well leaving a good comment can benefit everyone. Let’s see how comments can benefit you and what type of comments we should leave…

There are so many great blogs out there with a lot of valuable information that benefits us the home business entrepreneurs. Depending on what you’re looking for you’ll find it in blogs pertaining to your niche.

Why is that?

Well there’s a lot of bloggers who have home businesses.

They share their struggles and failures with us. These struggles and failures that they share are the same struggles and failures that we go through. It’s great to know that we’re not the only ones.

The best thing about their experiences is that a lot of good bloggers share what they did to get out of their struggles. They share what they did to attract leads, and what they did when they felt like quitting.

Bloggers share their mistakes and show that they’re not ashame to admit. Great bloggers show that they are human and personable. This is why you’ll see some bloggers that have a bunch of comments on each of their posts.

People in general find them valuable and they feel a connection with bloggers. On top of that, these bloggers form communities with other bloggers which makes it more of a close knit family.

But as a blogger or reader, a very important thing that you want to do is comment. It shows your appreciation for the information that they share, plus it’ll benefit you to get comments on your blog, plus traffic.

The Importance Of Leaving A Blog Comment 

Many of us think it’s not that important when leaving a comment, but there are so many benefits to it….

I would say there are three advantages to leaving a blog comment

Getting Answers - You can leave a comment by asking a question. There may have been a problem thats been bugging you or you may have been doing research on a specific plugin or anything else but have yet to find it. More than likely either the author or other people leaving comments may have the answer.

Giving Value – You may want to add something of value to the blog post. This gives you some authority and the readers can also look to you for answers. Sometimes the author or readers may have questions that you may have answers to which will pique their interest in wanting to know a little more about you.

Leverage – You can leverage author blogs to not only attract other bloggers and readers to your blog, but also it looks good on Google when you leave a valuable comment pertaining to the post. This will enable you to get more traffic to your blog or website.

What Should You Say In Your Blog Comment

Sometimes saying “Great Post!”, or “Nice Job!” is just not enough. It really doesn’t show sincerity, appreciation, and doesn’t have any value in it. Don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t have to be a bunch paragraphs or a big story either, but just enough to show that you like the value the author has given and maybe you want to add something to it.

Here are a couple of ideas on what to say in your comment:

Pick A Point That Resonated With You

The author may have made a list of things within post. Pick one or more points that you really like and comment on it. Let them know why you pick those points.

Comment On Something You Disagree With

Now I’m not saying to bash the author, but there are some things you may not disagree with what the author has written. Let them know why and what you believe works. This can create a hot topic within the post.

Add Something To Enhance The Post

When I say enhance, I mean something of value. Let’s say the author’s post was about high traffic sites and they list 5 good sites to get traffic, you may want to add 2 more sites that have been working for you.

Comment On Something You Learned From The Post

The author may have pointed out a couple of things that you never thought of or have yet to learn. Comment about it and show your appreciation of them sharing this knowledge.

Give 3rd Party Validation

The post maybe on a product, service, affiliate program or maybe a company. You may be using the same thing and having success with it. Comment on how it’s working well for you as well as it is for the author.

Agree On A Valid Point

The author may have made a great point or couple of points that you really agree with. Comment on why you agree with it and show have you been applying it in your life or business.

These are 6 great ideas you can use when commenting on other people’s blog posts. It’s best to make them at least 2 to 3 sentences which shows your sincerity and how serious you are.

At times you can be speechless and I do have to admit that I have made really short, straight to the point comments. But usually my comments are at least 2 to 3 sentences long. I make every effort to make them short and brief packed with appreciation and value. But as long as you’re doing this consistently, you’re good to go!

Network Marketing can be a great business model if it is done in a certain way. But a lot of network marketers actually give it a bad name. Let’s find out what not to do and what we can do to make it better for ourselves…

Are you chasing your family and friends to look at your opportunity and join you?

How are their reactions?

Is is positive or negative?

Now the most of who bug our family and friends every chance we get will more than likely get a response that we don’t like. I mean how would you respond if someone kept bugging you about their opportunity?

I know I would get really irritated…

So if our minds are open, what do we do?

We take our network marketing business to the internet…

If our friends and family won’t support us and help us with our business, maybe, just maybe we can find someone on the internet. Besides, we can reach people from around the world on the internet. Especially if our network marketing business is global.

So we go on a site like facebook…

And we’re told to find people in facebook groups like personal development, internet marketing, network marketing and affiliate marketing.

Genius right?

Why?

Because the people in these groups already have an interest in home business. If they didn’t, they wouldn’t be in the group, right?

Well, you’re half way right….

But this doesn’t stop you from blasting your links in these groups, and chasing strangers to look at your business opportunity, right?

Right Idea, Wrong Way To Do It! 

A lot of us end up doing the same thing online as we did offline. We end up chasing people. This makes you very desperate.

This is definitely a turn off, and people will see you as unsuccessful. Why would people join someone that’s chasing them. You tend to lose a lot of respect.

Why jump into lake and chase fish where you can put the bait on the hook and let the fish come to you?

Here’s the thing about people…. They want “projected gratification”.

They want to the information that will teach them what steps to take in order achieve their goals. Now if you’re sure of yourself, and put out there what people can do in order to achieve their goals, you’ll find that more and more people will be attracted to you.

This value will be your bait…

If this is done consistently, you will not have to chase people

They will come to you…

It’ll make you look like an expert or the authority figure when this happen.

Now you may say that you don’t have any valuable material to share with people on these groups. In this case, I advise you to check out the link below just to get you started….
