लौंग, तुलसी, अदरक और काली मिर्च का काढ़ा (Laung Tulsi adrak kali mirch kadha recipe)
सर्दी जुकाम में नाक बंद होने और सीने में दर्द को कम करने के लिए यह काढ़ा बढ़िया माना जाता है. लौंग, तुलसी, अदरक और काली मिर्च का काढ़ा सर्दी जुकाम में फायदा पहुंचाता है. इस काढ़े से पाचन क्रिया दुरुस्त होती है. अदरक का रस गले की खराश को कम करता है.
कैसे तैयार करें यहा काढ़ा
लौंग, तुलसी, अदरक और काली मिर्च का काढ़ा बनाने के लिए एक बर्तन में दो कप पानी, 7-8 तुलसी के पत्ते, 5 काली मिर्च, 5 लौंग और एक बड़ा चम्मच कद्दूकस किया अदरक लें. इसे मध्यम आंच पर रखकर 8-10 मिनट तक उबालें.

कोरोना के शुरुआती लक्षण में सांस लेने में तकलीफ होती है. हालांकि जरूरी नहीं यह कोरोना के ही सिम्पटम्स हों, लेकिन अगर ऐसी परेशानी है तो टेस्ट करवाने से पहले इलायची शहद का काढ़ा आपको इस तकलीफ से निजात दिला सकता है.
कैसे बनाएं
इलायची शहद वाला काढ़ा बनाने के लिए एक बर्तन में दो कप पानी में 1 चम्मच इलायची पाउडर डालकर कम से कम 10 मिनट तक उबालें. फिर छानकर गिलास में डाल सें. हल्का गुनगुना रहने पर एक चम्मच शहद डालकर घोलें और पी लें.

3. व‍िटाम‍िन और म‍िनरल (Vitamin and Mineral)

किसी धर्म सभा में एक बार एक कुटिल और दुष्ट व्यक्ति, मूर्ति पूजा का उपहास कर रहा था।

कह रहा था “मूर्ख लोग मूर्ति पूजा करते हैं। एक पत्थर को पूजते हैं. पत्थर तो निर्जीव है. जैसे कोई भी पत्थर. हम तो पत्थरों पर पैर रख कर चलते हैं. सिर्फ मुखड़ा बना कर पता नही क्या हो जाता है उस निर्जीव पत्थर पर, जो पूजा करते हैं?”

पूरी सभा उसकी हाँ में हाँ मिला रही थी.

स्वामी विवेकानन्द भी उस सभा में थे. कुछ टिप्पड़ी नहीं की. बस सभा ख़त्म होने के समय इतना कहा कि अगर आप के पास आप के पिताजी की फोटो हो तो कल सभा में लाइयेगा।

“लेकिन यह तो निर्जीव कागज़ का टुकड़ा है”. स्वामी जी ने कहा.तमाम कागज़ के तुकडे हम पैरों तले रौंदते हैं.

लेकिन यह तो मेरे पिता जी तस्वीर है. कागज़ का टुकड़ा नहीं. इन्हें मैं पिता ही देखता हूँ.” उस व्यक्ति ने जोर देते हुए कहा. "इनका अपमान मै बर्दाश्त नहीं कर सकता"

हंसते हुए स्वामीजी बोले, "हम हिन्दू भी मूर्तियों में अपने भगवान् देखते हैं, इसीलिए पूजते हैं."

पूरी सभा मंत्रमुग्ध होकर स्वामीजी कि तरफ ताकने लगी.

समझाने का इससे सरल और अच्छा तरीका क्या हो सकता है?

मूर्ति पूजा, द्वैतवाद के सिद्धांत पर आधारित है. ब्रह्म की उपासना सरल नहीं होती. क्योंकि उसे देख नहीं सकते. ऋषि मुनि ध्यान करते थे. उन्हें मूर्तियों की ज़रूरत नहीं पड़ती थी. आँखे बंद करके समाधि में बैठते थे. वह दूसरा ही समय था. अब उस तरह के व्यक्ति नहीं रहे जो निराकार ब्रह्म की उपासना कर सकें, ध्यान लगा सकें. इसलिए साकार आकृति सामने रख कर ध्यान केन्द्रित करते हैं. भावों में ब्रह्म को अनेक देवी देवताओं के रूप में देखते हैं. भक्ति में तल्लीन होते हैं. तो क्या अच्छा नहीं करते?

माता-पिता की अनुपस्थिति में हम जब उन्हें प्रणाम करते हैं तो उनके चेहरे को ध्यान में ही तो लाकर प्रणाम करते हैं.चेहरा साकार होता है और हमारी भावनाओं को देवताओं-देवियों के भक्ति में ओत-प्रोत कर देता है. मूर्ति पूजा इसीलिए करते हैं कि हमारी भावनाएं पवित्र रहें.

What does AM, VM, and AD.,stand for in text messages from India Post, DOP Finacle, Flipkart, Amazon, etc. What is its significance?

Understanding bulk SMS and its regulatory guidelines using AM, VM, AD and other codes for promotional marketing purposes

SMS (Short messaging service) is part of telecom, which is regulated by Government of India. Few years ago, SMS prices were very low, as low as a paisa per SMS or free in some cases leading to SMS flood in the country. Every small, medium or large business uses this tool to communicate their business proposal with their potential customers using a new generation broadcasting tool called Bulk SMS.

This resulted in unwanted messages to mobile users and hence to regulate such unwanted messages or calls TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) has given guidelines to regulate SMS for commercial purpose. With several amendments and guidelines around promotional SMS marketing there have been several changes and rules to govern.
MS is classified as Promotional SMS and Transactional SMS

Promotional SMS:

This is easy to understand, any SMS communication promoting some business sent to any mobile which is not part of NDNC registry in the same category of the business.

Mobile subscribers can register with NDNC with in following categories:

Banking / Insurance / Financial products / credit cards
Real Estate
Education
Health
Consumer goods and automobiles
Communication/Broadcasting/Entertainment/IT
Tourism and Leisure

If none of the above categories

As a business, you can only send Promotional SMS messages between 9 AM and 9 PM. All the messages will have a 5 digit numeric sender id prefixed with operator code. Ex LM-16021

What is the meaning of SMS codes like AM, VM and AD in text messages:

When you receive SMS’s like LM-VODAFONE, TD-AMAZON, MM-FACEBK etc. are messages sent by financial institutions, telecom service providers, social networking sites etc. such institutes have started prefixing these codes like AM, VM, AD and to name some more LM, MM, BT, TA, AD, ID, AT, VK..

Let us brief the significance of these codes:

Such SMS’s are originated from bulk SMS providers and are restricted by TRAI with ‘Sender ID’ of minimum 6 characters.

Three characters to specify the identity of the bulk SMS service provider and its origination, let us illustrate with an example: LM-WAYSMS message heading when received indicates that ‘LM’ loop mobile bulk message has been sent to you from Mumbai. First character specifies which service provider the message is being originated from and the second character specifies the location of the SMS.

नौकरी की तलाश करते समय हमे बहुत सारे इंटरव्यू देने पड़ते हैं । इंटरव्यू के दौरान हमे कई सवालों के जवाब देने होते हैं । इंटरव्यू के दौरान हमारे जवाब ही यह तय करते हैं की हमें नौकरी मिलेगी या नहीं और अगर मिलेगी तो कितना पैकेज मिलेगा । अपने भी देखा होगा की कुछ लोग अच्छी शैक्षिक योग्यता रखने के बाद भी इंटरव्यू में सफ़ल नहीं हो पातें, वही कुछ लोग साधारण शैक्षिक योग्यता रखने के बाद भी सफ़ल हो जातें है |
आपने इन्टरनेट में इंटरव्यू से जुड़े हुए कई आर्टिकल्स देखें होंगे जिनमें इंटरव्यू में पूँछे जानें वाले प्रश्न और उनकें उत्तर मौजूद होंगे | पर ये आर्टिकल थोड़ा सा अलग होगा क्यूंकि यहाँ हम इंटरव्यू के� प्रश्न और उत्तर के आलावा यह जानेंगे की इंटरव्यू के दौरान इंटरव्यू लेने वाला किन ख़ास चीजों पर गौर करता है और साथ ही साथ उत्तर देते समय ज्यादातर लोग क्या गलतियाँ करते हैं |
तो आइये जानतें हैं इंटरव्यू में पूछे जाने वाले कुछ सवाल, उनकें ज़वाब और जवाब देनें के सही तरीक़े

1 # अपने बारे में बताइये?

लगभग 95% प्रतिशत इंटरव्यू में सबसे पहला सवाल यही पूछा जाता है | ये सवाल सुनने में तो बहुत आसान लगता है पर असल में सवाल सबसे मुश्किल होता है । इस सवाल का जवाब ही तय करता है की आपको नौकरी मिल पायेगी या नहीं | इस सवाल का जवाब ही आपको बाकी लोगों (जो इंटरव्यू देने आये होंगे) उनसे अलग करेगा । दूसरे शब्दों में हम यह कह सकते हैं की इस सवाल का अगर अपने गड़बड़ जवाब दिया तो यह आपके जॉब इंटरव्यू में सफ़ल होने की संभावना को खत्म कर देगा ।
क्या जानना चाहता हैं इस सवाल से इंटरव्यू लेने वाला
इस सवाल के माध्यम से इंटरव्यू लेने वाला आपका कॉन्फिडेंस लेवल, आपकी कम्युनिकेशन स्किल्स देखना चाहता हैं ।
क्या ग़लती करते हैं ज्यादातर लोग
ज्यादातर लोग निम्नलिखित गलतियां करते हैं
• ज़वाब देने के दौरान सोच-सोच कर बोलना
• ज़वाब देने के दौरान हकलाना
• जवाब में माता पिता आदि के बारें में बताना
• अपना नाम बताने के बाद अपनी हॉबीज़ (या शौक) के बारे में बताना
ये कुछ आमतौर पर ग़लत तरीकें से दिये जाने वाले ज़वाब हैं जो इंटरव्यू में सफ़ल होने की संभावना को कम करते है या ख़त्म करते हैं | इंटरव्यू लेने वाले को आपका घर कहा हैं, आपके कितने भाई बहन है इन सबसे कोई मतलब नहीं हैं | ज़वाब देने के दौरान हकलाना आत्मविश्वास की कमी को दिखाता हैं |
क्या हैं सही जवाब या सही जवाब देने का तरीका

सही जवाब में आप शुरू इंटरव्यू के शुरआती 30 से 45 सेकंड में अपको अपना परिचय इस क्रम दे देना चाहिये
• पूरा नाम → आप किस शहर से हैं → 10 और 12 किस बोर्ड से कितने प्रतिशत हासिल किये → कॉलेज की शैक्षिक योग्यता (किस ब्रांच और कुल कितने प्रतिशत हैं)इसके बाद आप अपने बारे वो बात करें जो कंपनी के लिये महत्वपूर्ण हो मसलन जिस काम के लिये नौकरी का इंटरव्यू देने आये हैं, आप बताये की अपने वो काम कब किया है |ये ज़वाब देते समय बिल्कुल भी हकलाये या अटके नहीं न ही इस तरह बोले की लगे की आप ज़वाब रट के आये हैं | आपका ज़वाब बहुत ही सटीक और आत्मविश्वास से भरा हुआ होना चाहिये |

2 # हमारी कम्पनी के बारे में क्या जानते है? या आपने इस नौकरी के बारे में कहाँ से सुना?
क्या जानना चाहता हैं इंटरव्यू लेने वाला
इस सवाल के उत्तर के माध्यम से इंटरव्यू लेने वाला यह जानना चाहता हैं की आप इस नौकरी के लिये कितना गंभीर हैं | वो ये जानना चाहता हैं की आप दूसरों से अलग कोई तैयारी कर के आये है या ऐसे ही बस इंटरव्यू देने आ गये है |इस प्रश्न का उत्तर देने में वह लोग जरूर अटकते हैं जो होमवर्क करके नहीं आते या जिन्होंने ने कंपनी के बारे में कोई रिसर्च नहीं की |
क्या ग़लती करते हैं ज्यादातर लोग
ज्यादातर लोग इस तरह के जवाब देते हैं जो इंटरव्यू लेने वाले पर कोई ख़ास प्रभाव नहीं छोड़ पाता
• दोस्तों के द्वारा नौकरी के बारे में पता चला
• आपकी कंपनी क्षेत्र में बेस्ट है (सिर्फ़ इतना काफ़ी नहीं हैं)

• आपकी कंपनी इस क्षेत्र में 5 साल से लीडर हैं | आपकी कंपनी 2017 में अवार्ड मिला हैं | आपकी पहुँच देश विदेश के इन क्षेत्रो में हैं | न्यूज़पेपर से जब मुझे यहाँ वैकेंसी के बारे में पता चलने पर मैं यहाँ आया | मुझे यकीन है की यहाँ काम करके बहुत मुझे कुछ सीखने को मिलेगा और मेरे अनुभव कंपनी के लिये बहुत लाभप्रद होंगे |
आप कंपनी के संघर्ष और उद्धेश्य के बारे में भी बता सकते है | अगर आप किसी जॉब फेयर में आये हैं या जल्दबाज़ी में इंटरव्यू देने आयें है तो भी आप इंटरव्यू के माध्यम से कंपनी की वेबसाइट में जाकर कंपनी के बारे में बेसिक जानकारी का पता लगा सकते हैं जो आपकों इंटरव्यू में बहुत मदद करेगी |

3 # इस काम के बारे में क्या जानते हैं? या आपने यह काम क्यों चुना? या इस काम में करियर क्यों बनाना चाहते हैं?

यह सवाल भी हर तरह के इंटरव्यू में अक्सर पुछा जाता है | इस सवाल के द्वारा इंटरव्यू लेने वाला व्यक्ति आपका मनोभाव जांचने के लिये पूछतें हैं |� इस सवाल से इंटरव्यू लेने वाला यह जानना चाहता हैं की आप अपने बारें में कितना सकरात्मक सोचते हैं और अपने आपको कितना अच्छी तरह जानते हैं ।
क्या ग़लती करते हैं ज्यादातर लोग

यह एक तरह टेढ़ा प्रश्न जो अक्सर इंटरव्यू में पुछा जाता है | इस सवाल के द्वारा भी इंटरव्यू लेने वाला व्यक्ति आपका मनोभाव जांचने की कोशिश करता है | इस सवाल के द्वारा आपका धैर्य भी जांचा जाता है । इस सवाल का गलत तरीक़े से देने पर आप नौकरी हासिल करने से चूक सकते हैं |
क्या ग़लती करते हैं ज्यादातर लोग
ये कुछ उत्तर हैं जो कभी नहीं देने चाहिये

• मुझे गुस्सा जल्दी आता हैं

• मैं किसी काम को प्लान बनाकर जब उसे करता हूँ तो उसे और बेहतर बनाने के लिये कभी-कभी तय समय से ज्यादा वक्त ले लेता हूँ |
इस उत्तर से पता लगता है की आप अपने काम को हमेशा बेहतर करने के लिये प्रेरित रहते हैं और इस तरह आप अपनी कमज़ोरी में भी सकारात्मक रवैया दिखा रहें हैं

6 # पिछली नौकरी क्यों छोड़ी ?

क्या जानना चाहता हैं इंटरव्यू लेने वाला
यह सवाल उनसे पुछा जाता है जिन्होंने किसी कंपनी में काम किया हैं । यहाँ पर इंटरव्यू लेने वाला कई बातें देखेंगा जैसे आपका पुरानी कंपनी के लोगों के प्रतिरवैया या आप किसी मजबूरी वश तो काम छोड़नानहीं चाह रहे इत्यादी ।यह सवाल सबसे मुश्किल सवालों में से एक हैं और इसका जवाब बहुत ध्यान से देने की जरूरत होती हैं | इस सवाल का ग़लत तरीके से जवाब देने पर आपकी सारी मेहनत पर पानी फ़िर सकता हैं |

1 अप्रैल से बदल जाएंगे इनकम टैक्स (INCOME TAX) से जुड़े ये 10 नियम

पिछले बुधवार को लोकसभा ने वित्त विधेयक पास कर दिया. इसी के साथ ही बजट संबंधी सत्र 2017-18 की प्रक्रिया पूरी हो गई. चूंकि वित्त विधेयक, धन-संबंधी विधेयक होता है, इसलिए इसे सिर्फ लोकसभा द्वारा पास किया जाना ज़रूरी होता है, और राज्यसभा से पारित करवाने की आवश्यकता नहीं होती. 1 अप्रैल से शुरू हो रहे नए वित्त वर्ष के साथ ही इनकम टैक्स (Income Tax) से जुड़े कुछ खास नियमों में बदलाव हो जाएगा. वित्त मंत्री अरुण जेटली ने बजट 2017 में इनकम टैक्स में कई बदलावों की भी घोषणा की थी. वित्त विधेयक में कुछ बदलावों को लोकसभा ने अपनी मंजूरी दे दी है. ऐसे में आप भी जान लीजिए कि नए वित्त वर्ष यानी 1 अप्रैल से क्या कुछ बदलने वाला है:

1. ढाई लाख से 5 लाख रुपये के बीच की इनकम वालों का टैक्स 10 फीसद से घटाकर 5 फीसदी कर दिया जाएगा. हालांकि, सेक्शन 87ए के तहत मिलने वाली 5000 रुपये की छूट को घटाकर 2500 रुपये कर दी गई है. इतना ही नहीं, जिन आयकरदाताओं की आय 3.5 लाख रुपये से ऊपर है उनके लिए कोई छूट नहीं है. इसका मतलब यह होगा कि 3 से 5 लाख रुपए की करयोग्य आय वालों को 7,700 रुपए की बचत होगी, जबकि 5 से 50 लाख रुपए टैक्‍सेबल इनकम वालों को 12,900 रुपए की बचत होगी.

2. 50 लाख से लेकर एक करोड़ रुपए तक की वार्षिक आय वाले लोगों को 10 प्रतिशत सरचार्ज देना होगा. (वहीं एक करोड़ रुपए सालाना इनकम वाले लोगों को पहले की ही तरह 15 प्रतिशत सरचार्ज देना होगा.)

3. पांच लाख रुपए की सालाना आय (व्यावसायिक इनकम के अलावा) वाले व्‍यक्तिगत करदाताओं के लिए सुविधा के लिए टैक्‍स रिटर्न फाइल करने के लिए एक पेज का फॉर्म पेश किया जाएगा.

4. राजीव गांधी इक्विटी सेविंग स्‍कीम में निवेश पर आकलन वर्ष 2018-19 के लिए किसी भी प्रकार का कर लाभ नहीं मिलेगा. इस टैक्‍स सेविंग स्‍कीम की घोषणा वित्‍त वर्ष 2012-13 में की गई थी. यह योजना प्रतिभूति बाजार में पहली बार निवेश करने वाले निवेशकों को प्रोत्‍साहित करने के लिए शुरू की गई थी.

5. यदि सर्च ऑपरेशन के दौरान 50 लाख रुपए से अधिक की अघोषित आय या संपत्ति का पता चलता है तो आयकर अधिकारी पिछले 10 साल के कर मामलों को दोबारा खोल सकते हैं. वर्तमान में कर अधिकारियों को पिछले छह साल के दस्‍तावेजों की ही छानबीन करने का अधिकार हासिल है. समय पर अपना रिटर्न फाइल नहीं करने वाले करदाताओं को आकलन वर्ष 2018-19 के लिए 10,000 रुपए तक का जुर्माना देना पड़ सकता है. हालांकि, यदि किसी व्‍यक्ति की कुल आय 5 लाख रुपए से अधिक नहीं है, तो इस धारा के तहत उस पर अधिक‍तम जुर्माने की राशि 1,000 रुपए से अधिक नहीं होगी.

6. लांग टर्म गेन के लिए किसी संपत्ति के होल्डिंग पीरियड को 3 साल से घटाकर अब 2 साल कर दिया गया है. यदि कोई व्‍यक्ति संपत्ति खरीदकर उसे 2 साल के भीतर ही बेच देता है तो उसे इस पर होने वाले लाभ पर शॉर्ट टर्म कैपिटल गेन टैक्‍स देना होगा. यदि इस संपत्ति की बिक्री खरीदने की तारीख से दो साल बाद की जाती है तो उस पर कोई टैक्‍स देय नहीं होगा.

7. सरकार ने किराये पर घर देने वालों के कर लाभ में कटौती कर दी है. मौजूदा कर कानून के मुताबिक किराये पर दी गई संपत्ति के लिए करदाता रेंटल इनकम को समायोजित करने के बाद होम लोन पर चुकाए जाने वाले संपूर्ण ब्‍याज पर टैक्‍स कटौती का लाभ ले सकता है. अब नए नियम के मुताबिक खुद के रहने वाले मकान के लिए होम लोन पर ब्‍याज के भुगतान में 2 लाख रुपए पर टैक्‍स कटौती का लाभ मिलेगा लेकिन रेंट पर दी गई प्रॉपर्टी के लिए करदाता रेंटल इनकम एडजस्‍ट करने के बाद प्रतिवर्ष केवल 2 लाख रुपए पर ही टैक्‍स लाभ हासिल कर सकेगा. दो लाख रुपए से अधिक की राशि को अगले आठ असेसमेंट वर्षों तक आगे ले जाया जा सकेगा.

8. प्रतिमाह 50,000 रुपए से अधिक के किराये का भुगतान करने वाले व्‍यक्ति को अब 5 प्रतिशत टीडीएस (स्रोत कर कर) काटना होगा. कर विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि इस कदम से ऐसे व्‍यक्ति जिनकी रेंटल इनकम बहुत अधिक है, वो कर के दायरे में आ जाएंगे. यह नियम एक जून 2017 से प्रभावी होगा.

9. नेशनल पेंशन सिस्‍टम (एनपीएस) से आंशिक निकासी/आहरण पर कोई टैक्‍स नहीं लगेगा. प्रस्‍तावित बदलावों के अनुसार, एनपीएस सब्‍सक्राइबर्स अपने अंशदान का 25 प्रतिशत हिस्‍सा रिटायरमेंट से पहले आपातकालीन स्थिति में निकाल सकेंगे. यह याद रखें कि रिटायरमेंट पर कुल फंड का 40 प्रतिशत हिस्‍सा ही कर मुक्त होता है.

10. एक जुलाई से पैन कार्ड बनवाने और इनकम टैक्‍स दाखिल करने के लिए आधार नंबर अनिवार्य होगा. सरकार ने कालेधन की रोकथाम के लिए नकद लेनदेन की सीमा भी 3 से घटाकर अब 2 लाख रुपए कर दी गई है. यदि कोई व्‍यक्ति दो लाख रुपए से अधिक का लेनदेन करते पाया जाता है तो उसे इस सीमा से अधिक राशि पर 100 प्रतिशत जुर्माना देना होगा.

The Lok Sabha on Wednesday passed the Finance Bill, completing the budgetary exercise for 2017-18. Since the Finance Bill is a Money Bill, it needs only to be cleared by the Lok Sabha. Starting from April 1, 2017, some income tax laws will change. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had announced a number of income tax changes in Budget 2017. In addition, some amendments were also introduced in the Finance Bill that was passed by the Lok Sabha. Here are some of the changes that income tax payers should note:

1) The tax rate on income between Rs. 2.5 lakh and Rs. 5 lakh will get halved to 5 per cent from 10 per cent. However, rebate under Section 87A gets reduced from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 2,500. And no rebate will be applicable for taxpayers having income above Rs. 3.5 lakh. This means tax savings of up to Rs. 7,700 for those with a taxable income between Rs. 3 lakh and Rs. 5 lakh. And for persons with taxable income between Rs. 5 lakh and Rs. 50 lakh, tax savings of Rs. 12,900.

2) A 10 per cent surcharge will be applicable for individuals having income ranging from Rs. 50 lakh to Rs. 1 crore (existing surcharge of 15 per cent will remain the same for individuals having income above Rs. 1 crore.)

3) A simple one-page form will be introduced for filing tax return for individuals having a taxable income up to Rs. 5 lakh other than business income.

4) No deduction will be allowed for investment in Rajiv Gandhi Equity Saving Scheme from Assessment Year 2018-19. This tax-saving scheme, announced in the Union Budget for financial year 2012-13, was designed exclusively for the first-time individual investors in the securities market with gross total income below a certain limit.

5) Income tax officials can reopen tax cases for up to 10 years if search operations reveal undisclosed income and assets of over Rs. 50 lakh. Currently, tax officers can go back up to six years to scrutinise the books of accounts of assessees. Income Tax payers who do not file their returns on time will have to shell out a penalty of up to Rs. 10,000 from Assessment Year 2018-19. However, if the total income of the person does not exceed Rs. 5 lakh, the fee payable under this section shall not exceed Rs. 1,000.

6) The holding period of a property for qualifying as long-term gains will be reduced to two years, from three years. This will help save tax if a property is sold within two years of buying. The profit from the transaction will be treated as short-term capital gains and will be taxed according to the slab rate applicable to him/her.

7) The government has cut down tax benefits borrowers enjoyed on properties let out on rent. As per current tax laws, for properties rented out, a borrower could deduct the entire interest paid on home loan after adjusting for the rental income. On the other hand, borrowers of self-occupied properties get a deduction of Rs. 2 lakh on interest repayment on home loan.

But on rented properties, the borrower can only claim a deduction of up to Rs. 2 lakh per year after adjusting for the rental income. And the amount above Rs. 2 lakh can be carried forward for eight assessment years. Since the interest component of home loan repaid in initial years is higher, experts say that the borrower may not be able to fully adjust the interest paid as deduction even in subsequent years.

8) Individuals will be required to deduct a 5 per cent TDS (tax deducted at source) for rental payments above Rs. 50,000 per month. Tax experts say that the move will ensure that persons who get a large rental income come into the tax net. It will be effective from June 1, 2017.

9) Partial withdrawals from National Pension System (NPS) will not attract tax. According to the proposed changes, NPS subscribers can withdraw 25 per cent of their contribution to the corpus for emergencies before retirement. Remember that withdrawal of 40 per cent of the corpus is tax-free on retirement.

10) Aadhaar number will be a must while applying for PAN as well as filing of income tax returns from July 1. To curb black money, the limit on cash transactions has been set at Rs. 2 lakh. The Finance Bill had originally proposed the cap at Rs. 3 lakh. If a person receives any sum in contravention of the tax law, he/she will be liable to pay, by way of penalty, a sum equal to the amount.

Rs 50 minimum balance, no transaction fees: Can India Post be the answer to banks’ greed?

Imagine a bank with pan India presence where you need just Rs 50 minimum balance in your bank account (with no penalties) and Rs 20 is all you need to open this account. It might sound unreal at a time when private, foreign and now even public sector banks insist for a minimum balance anywhere between Rs 5,000 to Rs 1,50,000 and levy charges on almost any transaction you do with them, including cash transactions.

These figures are true and this savings bank is India’s postal department. For accounts with cheque facility, the minimum balance and initial amount needed is Rs 500, but still way cheaper than all other banks. Postal savings accounts offer a rate of interest of 4 percent on such savings, promises no yearly charges/ no hidden fees and has a massive branch network of about 1.5 lakh (about 1.3 lakh in villages and about 25,000 in cities and towns), the department has much bigger network than even the State Bank group combined (about 25,000).

The postal department already has years of experience in maintaining savings accounts. Total outstanding balance under all National Savings Schemes and Savings Certificates in post office is over Rs 6,39,254 crore as on 31 March, 2016. Out of this, amount garnered under the savings accounts is about Rs 55,082 crore and Rs 76,181 crore under recurring deposit scheme.To become the dream bank of the common man, the postal department only needs to ramp up its infrastructure and product offerings. In terms of reach, it is a giant. Take a look at these figures. As on 27 December, 2016 about 23,091 post offices have been migrated to CBS (core banking services) and 968 ATMs are operational.

With ATMs becoming interoperable, India Post customers having debit card can do transactions on other bank ATMs and similarly other bank customers can transact on post bank ATMs. The CBS spread means you can transact your postal banking account in any of these branches covered under CBS, just like a normal bank. And what more, the department promises no charges for any number of transactions you do at their branches and ATMs.

In short, this means postal department can offer a major alternative to a poor farmer or a salaried employee who don’t want to get harassed with the massive charges imposed by traditional banks, if it gets the act together. The present industry situation offers a major opportunity for the department to get its act together and ramp up its infrastructure, technology platform to take on the competition. It needs to act in the following areas urgently:

One, create a strong technology platform that can offer mobile, internet banking to the postal savings customer. As of now, postal bank customers do not have the facility to bank on mobile and internet platforms. In the era of new age banking, it is absolutely necessary for the department to offer technology-based banking platforms to the aspiring customers who look for an alternative to the traditional banks.

Make no mistake. Postal savings bank customers no longer need to be confined to retired employees and housewives who would stand for hours in queues to reach the post office counter. The new age customer of the department will be tech-savvy, cost-sensitive younger generation and to appease this class, the department needs to go for a major makeover using technology.

Second, look for synergies with the recently launched postal payments bank. For this, the government may have to change the laws governing the department since payment bank is regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. But, this synergy is a must to avoid confusion among the common man regarding the seemingly similar offerings coming from the same department.

According to AP Singh, who heads the payments bank operations, the activities are still at a concept stage and presently the bank has only eight access points though it has an ambitious plan to acquire new clients. The payments bank cannot use the captive client base of postal savings department since these two are separate entities. Just that the postal savings customers have an option to avail payment bank services.

Third, for such a big makeover, and competition with regular banks, the postal department needs to get its staff ready. This needs special skill sets and dedicated staff and can’t be just another activity apartment. The new customer needs attention and speed of transactions.

The bottomline is this: Time is ripe for the postal department to get its act together and ramp up its infrastructure to position itself as an alternative to common savings bank customers. There is a big opportunity particularly given the widespread resentment against the greedy commercial banks on account of the high transaction charges they levy on common customers

       ये खूबसूरत सूरत पंक्तियाँ famous poet डॉ बशीर ने क्या खूब कही हैं। इन lines में मंजिल तक पहुँचने का जो जूनून है वो साफ़ नजर आता है, की एक राही किसी पथ की कठिनाइयों व थकावट को नजर अंदाज कर के बस अपनी मंजिल की तरफ बढ़ा जा रहा है ।

5-Year Post Office Recurring Deposit Accountt	From 1.4.2014, interest rates are as follows:- 8.4% per annum (quarterly compounded) On maturity INR 10/- account fetches INR746.53. Can be continued for another 5 years on year to year basis.	Minimum INR 10/- per month or any amount in multiples of INR 5/-. No maximum limit.	· Account can be opened by cash/cheque and in case of cheque the date of deposit shall be date of presentation of cheque. · Nomination facility is available at the time of opening and also after opening of account. · Account can be transferred from one post office to another. · Any number of accounts can be opened in any post office. · Account can be opened in the name of minor and a minor of 10 years and above age can open and operate the account. · Joint account can be opened by two adults. ·Subsequent deposit can be made up to 15th day of next month if account is opened up to 15th of a calendar month and up to last working day of next month if account is opened between 16th day and last working day of a calendar month. · If subsequent deposit is not made up to the prescribed day, a default fee is charged for each default, default fee @ 5 paisa for every 5 rupee shall be charged. After 4 regular defaults, the account becomes discontinued and can be revived in two months but if the same is not revived within this period, no further deposit can be made. *If in any RD account, there is monthly default(s) the depositor has to first pay the defaulted monthly deposit with default fee and then pay the current month deposit. This will be applicable for both CBS and non CBS Post offices. · There is rebate on advance deposit of at least 6 installments. · Single account can be converted into Joint and Vice Versa. Minor after attaining majority has to apply for conversion of the account in his name. · One withdrawal upto 50% of the balance allowed after one year. Full maturity value allowed on R.D. Accounts restricted to that of INR. 50/- denomination in case of death of depositor subject to fulfilment of certain conditions. In case of deposits made in RD accounts by Cheque, date of credit of Cheque into Government accounts shall be treated as date of deposit.
Post Office Time Deposit Account	Interest payable annually but calculated quarterly. From 1.4.2014, interest rates are as follows:- Period Rate 1yr.A/c 8.40% 2yr.A/c 8.40% 3yr.A/c 8.40% 5yr.A/c 8.50%	Minimum INR 200/- and in multiple thereof. No maximum limit.	· Account may be opened by individual. · Account can be opened by cash/cheque and in case of cheque the date of realization of cheque in Govt. account shall be date of opening of account. · Nomination facility is available at the time of opening and also after opening of account. · Account can be transferred from one post office to another. · Any number of accounts can be opened in any post office. · Account can be opened in the name of minor and a minor of 10 years and above age can open and operate the account. · Joint account can be opened by two adults. · Single account can be converted into Joint and Vice Versa. · Minor after attaining majority has to apply for conversion of the account in his name. · *In CBS Post offices ,when any TD account is matured, the same TD account will be automatically renewed for the period for which the account was initially opened e.g 2 Years TD account will be automatically renewed for 2 Years. Interest rate applicable on the day of maturity will be applied. · Lock up period of 6 months for premature closure of TD accounts has been removed and as and when any TD accounts is closed before one Year, interest @ savings account applicable from time to time shall be payable. This will be applied for both CBS and non CBS Post offices. · The investment under 5 Years TD qualifies for the benefit of Section 80C of the Income Tax Act, 1961 from 1.4.2007.
Post Office Monthly Income Account Scheme	From 1.4.2014, interest rates are as follows:- 8.40% per annum payable monthly.	In multiples of INR 1500/- Maximum investment limit is INR 4.5 lakhs in single account and INR 9 lakhs in joint account. An individual can invest maximum INR 4.5 lakh in MIS (including his share in joint accounts) For calculation of share of an individual in joint account, each joint holder have equal share in each joint account.	· Account may be opened by individual. · Account can be opened by cash/cheque and in case of cheque the date of realization of cheque in Govt. account shall be date of opening of account. · Nomination facility is available at the time of opening and also after opening of account. · Account can be transferred from one post office to another. · Any number of accounts can be opened in any post office subject to maximum investment limit by adding balance in all accounts. · Account can be opened in the name of minor and a minor of 10 years and above age can open and operate the account. ·Joint account can be opened by two or three adults. · All joint account holders have equal share in each joint account. · Single account can be converted into Joint and Vice Versa. · Minor after attaining majority has to apply for conversion of the account in his name. · Maturity period is 5 years from 1.12.2011. · Interest can be drawn through auto credit into savings account standing at same post office, through PDCs or ECS./In case of MIS accounts standing at CBS Post offices, monthly interest can be credited into savings account standing at any CBS Post offices. · Can be prematurely en-cashed after one year but before 3 years at the discount of 2% of the deposit and after 3 years at the discount of 1% of the deposit. (Discount means deduction from the deposit.) · A bonus of 5% on principal amount is admissible on maturity in respect of MIS accounts opened on or after 8.12.07 and up to 30.11.2011. No bonus is payable on the deposits made on or after 1.12.2011.
Senior Citizen Savings Schemee	From 1.4.2015, interest rates are as follows:- 9.3% per annum, payable from the date of deposit of 31st March/30th Sept/31st December in the first instance & thereafter, interest shall be payable on 31st March, 30th June, 30th Sept and 31st December.	There shall be only one deposit in the account in multiple of INR.1000/- maximum not exceeding INR 15 lakh.	• An individual of the Age of 60 years or more may open the account. • An individual of the age of 55 years or more but less than 60 years who has retired on superannuation or under VRS can also open account subject to the condition that the account is opened within one month of receipt of retirement benefits and amount should not exceed the amount of retirement benefits. • Maturity period is 5 years. • A depositor may operate more than one account in individual capacity or jointly with spouse (husband/wife). • Account can be opened by cash for the amount below INR 1 lakh and for INR 1 Lakh and above by cheque only. • In case of cheque, the date of realization of cheque in Govt. account shall be date of opening of account. • Nomination facility is available at the time of opening and also after opening of account. • Account can be transferred from one post office to another • Any number of accounts can be opened in any post office subject to maximum investment limit by adding balance in all accounts. • Joint account can be opened with spouse only and first depositor in Joint account is the investor. • Interest can be drawn through auto credit into savings account standing at same post office, through PDCs or Money Order. • In case of SCSS accounts, quarterly interest shall be payable on 1st working day of April, July, October and January. It will be applicable at all CBS Post Offices. *Quarterly interest of SCSS accounts standing at CBS Post offices can be credited in any savings account standing at any other CBS post offices. • Premature closure is allowed after one year on deduction of an amount equal to1.5% of the deposit & after 2 years 1% of the deposit. • After maturity, the account can be extended for further three years within one year of the maturity by giving application in prescribed format. In such cases, account can be closed at any time after expiry of one year of extension without any deduction. TDS is deducted at source on interest if the interest amount is more than INR 10,000/- p.a. Investment under this scheme qualifies for the benefit of Section 80C of the Income Tax Act, 1961 from 1.4.2007.
15 year Public Provident Fund Account	From 1.4.2014, interest rates are as follows:- 8.70% per annum (compounded yearly).	Minimum INR. 500/- Maximum INR. 1,50,000/- in a financial year. Deposits can be made in lump-sum or in 12 installments.	• An individual can open account with INR 100/- but has to deposit minimum of INR 500/- in a financial year and maximum INR 1,50,000/- • Joint account cannot be opened. • Account can be opened by cash/cheque and In case of cheque, the date of realization of cheque in Govt. account shall be date of opening of account. • Nomination facility is available at the time of opening and also after opening of account. Account can be transferred from one post office to another. • The subscriber can open another account in the name of minors but subject to maximum investment limit by adding balance in all accounts. • Maturity period is 15 years but the same can be extended within one year of maturity for further 5 years and so on. • Maturity value can be retained without extension and without further deposits also. • Premature closure is not allowed before 15 years. • Deposits qualify for deduction from income under Sec. 80C of IT Act. • Interest is completely tax-free. • Withdrawal is permissible every year from 7th financial year from the year of opening account.. • Loan facility available from 3rd financial year. • No attachment under court decree order. • The PPF account can be opened in a Post Office which is Double handed and above.
National Savings Certificates (NSC) 5 Years National Savings Certificate (VIII Issue)	From 1.4.2014, interest rates are as follows:- 8.5% compounded six monthly but payable at maturity. INR. 100/- grows to INR 151.62 after 5 years.	Minimum INR. 100/- No maximum limit available in denominations of INR. 100/-, 500/-, 1000/-, 5000/- & INR. 10,000/-.	·• A single holder type certificate can be purchased by, an adult for himself or on behalf of a minor or by a minor. • Deposits qualify for tax rebate under Sec. 80C of IT Act. • The interest accruing annually but deemed to be reinvested under Section 80C of IT Act. In case of NSC VIII , transfer of certificates from one person to another can be done only once from date of issue to date of maturity. At the time of transfer of Certificates from one person to another, old certificates will not be discharged. Name of old holder shall be rounded and name of new holder shall be written on the old certificate and on the purchase application(in case of non CBS Post offices) under dated signatures of the authorized Postmaster along with his designation stamp and date stamp of Post office.
Kisan Vikas Patra (KVP)	Amount Invested doubles in 100 months (8 years & 4 months)	Available in denominations of Rs 1,000, 5000, 10,000 and Rs 50,000. Minimum deposit Rs 1000/- and no maximum limit.	• Certificate can be purchased by an adult for himself or on behalf of a minor or by two adults. • KVP can be purchased from any Departmental Post office. • Facility of nomination is available. • Certificate can be transferred from one person to another and from one post office to another. • Certificate can be encashed after 2 & 1/2 years from the date of issue.
Sukanya Samriddhi Accounts	Rate of interest 9.2% Per Annum(w.e.f 1-4-2015),calculated on yearly basis ,Yearly compounded.	Minimum INR. 1000/-and Maximum INR. 1,50,000/- in a financial year. Subsequent deposit in multiple of INR 100/- Deposits can be made in lump-sum No limit on number of deposits either in a month or in a Financial year	• A legal Guardian/Natural Guardian can open account in the name of Girl Child. • A guardian can open only one account in the name of one girl child and maximum two accounts in the name of two different Girl children. • Account can be opened up to age of 10 years only from the date of birth. For initial operations of Scheme, one year grace has been given. With the grace, Girl child who is born between 2.12.2003 &1.12.2004 can open account up to1.12.2015. • If minimum Rs 1000/- is not deposited in a financial year, account will become discontinued and can be revived with a penalty of Rs 50/- per year with minimum amount required for deposit for that year. • Partial withdrawal, maximum up to 50% of balance standing at the end of the preceding financial year can be taken after Account holder’s attaining age of 18 years. • Account can be closed after completion of 21 years. • If account is not closed after maturity, balance will continue to earn interest as specified for the scheme from time to time. • Normal Premature closure will be allowed after completion of 18 years /provided that girl is married.

From here, you can activate features that will locate your device in case it is lost or misplaced, and you can also remotely lock and factory reset your handset.

After you've checked these options on your phone, you can log on to the Android Device Manager website (www.google.com/android/ devicemanager) using your Google account to control your phone remotely.

Protect your handset

Part-II will be of 100 marks. Time duration is of 30 minutes (15 minutes each for computer typing test and Date entry test respectively)

Part-II will be of qualifying nature with minimum of 40% for OC, 37% for BC and 33% for SC /ST candidates.

The final merit shall be prepared on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained by the Applicants in the Aptitude Test (Paper I) only subject to their qualifying in Computer/Typing test (Paper II). i.e., there will be no marks for Typing/Data entry test. You have to just qualify the minimum criteria in Paper-2 and final merit list shall be prepared on the basis of marks of Paper-I only.

TypingTestPattern: -

Typing test will be divided in to two sections:

1) Computer typing Test:

This test will evaluate Candidate’s Computer typing efficiency. Candidates are required to type a passage in English/Hindi (450 words passage for English & 375 words passage for Hindi) within the duration of 15 minutes.

Typing Speed: - Recommended typing speed for selection is 25-30 words per minute (WPM).

Only candidates opting for Hindi script test will have to give Hindi typing test. It’s upon your personal preference. English typing is considered easier to learn and pass. You can choose either English or Hindi for typing test.

The typing test and test of data entry operations will be conducted on Computer key board but not on type writer.

2) Data-Entry test:

This test will evaluate Candidates data-entry efficiency. Candidates are required to type figures, letters and manuscript data within the duration of 15 minutes.

Typing Speed and Accuracy tests allow you to check a candidate's typing speed and accuracy automatically based on existing documents or documents you create.

Data Entry Speed and Accuracy tests allow you to check a candidate's alphanumeric or numeric data entry speed and accuracy automatically; based on existing forms

Typing tests measure two things, speed and mistakes, so when you take typing speed test, do not look only at your speed, look also at the number of your mistakes and concentrate on reducing your mistakes rather than increasing your typing speed. The end result will be increased productivity.

WPM

WPM is an abbreviation of Words-Per-Minute. Confusingly this does not literally mean whole words, as one might find in a dictionary, but rather word-units.

For speed to be comparable, it must be measured in standard units. In the case of typing speed if we used actual words for the WPM measurement then typing speed test results would not be comparable unless everyone used the same texts for their respective typing speed tests - which would give us the additional factor of memorisation so, the word-units we use are artificial.

One word-unit is five keystrokes. Thus, "typed" is one word-unit, "type on it" is two word-units (spaces count as keystrokes too).

Typing technique

Make sure you feel comfortable at your computer. Adjust your chair so your arms comfortably reach the table at a 90-degree angle. Make sure your wrists are straight. Sit up straight in your chair with your back resting against the chair. Place both feet on the ground.

Whether you’re taking a typing test, preparation is an important factor in the outcome. The best way to prepare is to work on your technique; sit comfortably and practice tests that are similar to the one you’ll have to take.

Use All Your Fingers

Learn how to type using all your fingers – not just your two pointer fingers. Even though you may be able to type quickly with two fingers, you can type even faster with practice if you use all your fingers to do the work. Typing lessons can help you learn which finger to use to type each letter. This memorization can help your brain direct your fingers to the letters you need without requiring you to look at the keys. As you teach your fingers to find the keys, you can look at the screen to see what you’re typing instead of watching your fingers, which will further increase your typing speed.

Avoid Seeing:

Yes, you should not see the keyboard while you type. You should have military level of discipline. Look at the screen or the source paper. After you are familiar with the finger placements you can try this. While riding bicycle, what will you see? The road or the pedals

Practice a Similar Test

Not all typing tests are the same. You might take a three- or five-minute typing test, or it may be longer. The test might not allow you to press the backspace key. It might be in the form of a game, or it might be a simple paragraph you must read and copy. If you can, find out the format of the timed typing test you’ll be taking. Look on-line for free on-line typing tests that are similar to what you might encounter during your test.

Keep Corrections to a Minimum

While it’s important to type quickly with as much accuracy as possible, going back to correct mistakes can slow down your typing speed considerably. Practice finding the correct keys the first time so you don’t have to worry about errors. Use discretion when choosing which errors to go back and correct.

The material you are tested on will most likely be something you’ve never seen before. Chances are you won’t have an opportunity to read over the material beforehand. To prepare for your test, practice typing things with which you’re not familiar. Don’t worry about whether you understand what you’re typing; just focus on typing it correctly.

Also, be aware that not all computer keyboards feel the same way. Although it will still be a QWERTY keyboard, which is the standard computer keyboard, the keys may feel a little different when you type on it. They might stick a little more or be a little touchier than the ones on the keyboard you use to practice. Another thing to consider is your surroundings. If you’re not used to typing in different surroundings, it may be a good idea to try out a new location. Doing these things might help you feel more relaxed when you take your typing test.

Touch Typing

Touch typing is typing without looking at the keyboard. The idea is to teach your fingers the location of each keys. Typing Speed is measured in Words Per Minute (WPM), commonly used in typing test examination and recruitment. For the purposes of WPM measurement a word is standardized to five characters or keystrokes. Therefore, “write” counts as one word, but “understand” counts as two words and blank space also count as one character.

1) Place your indexes on 'F' and 'J'.

NATURE OF MISTAKES
A. Full Mistakes: The following errors are treated as full mistakes:--

-- For every omission of word/ figure.
-- For every substitution of a wrong word /figure.
-- For every addition of a word / figure not found in the passage.

B. Half Mistakes: The following errors are treated as half mistakes:--

(i) Spacing Errors: Where no space is provided between two words, e.g. ‘Ihope’ or undesired space is provided between the words or letters of a word e.g. hope I have, ‘I hxxave’.

(ii) For every spelling error committed by way of repetition, or addition or transposition or omission or substitution of a letter/letters, e.g. the word
‘spelling’ typed as ‘seeplings’ etc.

(iii) Wrong Capitalisation: Wrong use of capital letter for small letter and vice-versa. (This does not apply to Hindi typewriting scripts).

How To Create A Good Password That You Will Not Forget

Passwords can be a key to many things, for example your emails, your Facebook profile, or your bank account. Did you know that some people still use passwords like “password” or “123456″? Needless to say, it’s dangerous to use one and the same simple password for all of your online accounts. Imagine a hacker cracked that one password? To be safe, you should create unique and difficult to crack passwords.

So do you know how to create a good password? And how can you remember more than one of them? Here are some tips and tricks to maintain individual strong passwords for all of your online accounts.

Know The Characteristics Of A Safe Password

it cannot be found in a dictionary.
it contains special characters and numbers.
it contains a mix of upper and lower case letters.
it has a minimum length of 10 characters.
it cannot be guessed easily based on user information (birthdate, postal code, phone number etc.)

Create An Easy To Remember Base Password

You can use several techniques how to create a good password that you will not forget. Here are some suggestions.

Randomly replace letters with numbers, e.g. flirt becomes fl1r7.
Pick a sentence, i.e. your passphrase, and reduce it to first letters of each word only, e.g. “Everything I Do I Do It For You” becomes EIDIDIFY.
Take a word and reverse spell it, e.g. neighborhood becomes doohrobhgien.

These examples are not very safe. While none of the words can be found in a dictionary, they are still failing other characteristics of a safe password. Try to find a combination that allows you to incorporate all characteristics.

The base password I’m going to use for this password is “E1d_1D!4Y:)“.

Note that my base password meets all of the above criteria. It cannot be found in a dictionary, it contains special characters, a mix of upper and lower case letters, it is 11 characters long, and cannot be guessed based on my personal information (unless you suspect that I like Bryan Adams).

Be Creative & Think Out Of The Box!

A computer may calculate faster than you can recognize patterns a lot quicker than any human brain, but one thing it cannot do is be creative. That is your great advantage over hacker tools!

As you see, in my password I replaced some letters with numbers or special characters. However, I didn’t use a stiff set of rules. I replaced the “I” with a “1″ or a “!”. Using rules for replacing characters, i.e. always replacing an “a” with the “@” symbol will weaken your password.

Here are some ideas how you can make it even harder for a hacker to crack your password:

Don’t use common substitutions, e.g. @ for A/a.
When you have recurring letters within your password, mix your substitutions, e.g. 8 or ( for B/b.
Have a word and touch type it with your fingers in the etpmh (wrong) location. Keep in mind that you may switch keyboard types.
Pick a pattern on your keyboard and type it with alternating use of the SHIFT key, e.g. Xdr%6tfCvgz/

Create Individual Passwords For Every Account

Once you have a strong base password, you can use it to create individual passwords for each of your online accounts. Simply add the first three letters of the service, e.g. “E1d_1D!4Y:)GMa” for your GMail account or “E1d_1D!4Y:)eBa” for eBay.

Be Super Safe

To be super safe, you should have TWO base passwords. They will be used to keep important and not so important accounts separate. You would use one password for sites which hold personal information or credit card details, such PayPal or GMail. The second password would be used for forums and similar sites that would not be of great harm if hacked. However, the passwords should be equally strong.

Update Passwords Regularly

This is the toughest part. To maintain safety with a strong password, you have to update your password every few weeks or months. The more often, the better. You can do this in several different ways. Here are some ideas that will keep it simple.

Change your base password only:

Change the special character substitutions you’re using.
Reverse use of upper and lower case letters.
Type the password with SHIFT lock turned on.

Change entire password:

Change how you identify the account you’re using, e.g. use the last three rather than the first three letters (GMa would become ail or eBa would become Bay).
Change the position of the letters identifying the account, e.g. put them to the front or in the middle of your base password.
Add the date of when you last changed the password at the back and mark it in your calendar.

In other words, use your human advantage: be creative and think out of the box.

Accidents can occur anytime anywhere on a bike and precaution is all that one can take. Here are the very basics to remember before hitting the road

1.) Always Wear A Certified Helmet

Always wear a helmet when riding a two-wheeler. Choose the right helmet which fits snug, does not move and is made out of good quality impact absorption material. Buy a certified helmet from a reliable vendor and not road-side seller.

2.) Use Both Brakes For Stopping

The correct application of both the brakes unit will guarantee optimum stopping results. Hold the front brake lever gently and gradually increase pressure instead of grabbing it too hard too soon.

3.) Keep Speed Under Check

Keep your speed always under a check. Anything remotely scary or out of control in an unfavourable environment can spell disaster even before you realise it. Be well within the speed limits stated on any particular stretch of road.

4.) Dont Push Your Limit Or Your Luck

The motorcycle you are riding has limits and so do you. Do not push your luck and outdo your skills at any point. Relax, take it easy, be alert and stay within your limits on the road. Push limits on the race track.

5.) Maintain Safe Distance

Space is one of your biggest allies on the road. So keep enough space for yourself as well as the fellow traffic for movement. Do no tailgate i.e. stick close to vehicles ahead.

6.) Signal Your Moves In Advance

Give timely indication of the move you are planning to make. Do not change direction or the lane suddenly. Indicate the traffic around you of the move you are planning to make. Use the indicator signals and if necessary had signals too.

7.) Get spotted!

Always be in the open area and skip getting caught in the blind spots, especially of larger vehicles like trucks and buses. Make an eye contact before making an overtake and always keep the headlights on in order to be seen easily.
