But what if you need access to both? Whether you’re separating client projects from personal photography, or just managing two subscriptions, here are the best ways to run two Lightroom accounts on one computer.

Switch Between Accounts (The Official Way)

The most straightforward method is simply signing out of Creative Cloud and back in with your other account.

Pros: No extra setup, works with your full Lightroom desktop app.

Cons: Clunky — you’ll need to re-enter your credentials every time you switch.

This works best if you only need one account active at a time.

Use Separate OS User Accounts

Create a second user profile on your computer (macOS or Windows). Each profile can stay permanently signed into its own Adobe account.

Pros: Clean separation between work and personal libraries. No repeated sign-ins.

Cons: You can’t run them side-by-side in the same desktop session. Switching users takes time.

Run a Virtual Machine

If you really want both accounts running at the same time on the same screen, you can install a virtual machine (VM) using software like Parallels, VMware, or VirtualBox.

Pros: Full Lightroom desktop experience for each account.

Cons: Requires lots of RAM/CPU, since Lightroom is resource-hungry. Setup can be technical.

Mix Desktop and Browser Versions (Easiest Side-by-Side Option)

Here’s the smoothest solution for most people:

Use the Lightroom desktop app for your work Adobe account.

Log into Lightroom Web (lightroom.adobe.com) in Chrome for your personal account.

Because the web version uses your browser session, it’s completely independent of the Creative Cloud desktop login. You can even stay signed in to both accounts all the time by using separate browsers (e.g. Chrome for personal, Safari/Edge for work) or Chrome profiles.

Pros: No switching, both accounts open at once. Minimal setup.

Cons: Lightroom Web has fewer editing tools and no offline access. It’s best for culling, organizing, and lighter edits.

You bag them up to share. And even though it happens every year from around June to August, it still feels like a treat.

The diehards who chase down Julie mangoes like they’re concert tickets. Then there’s the Bombay lovers, those soft, stringy ones that you basically have to eat over the sink unless you want to ruin your shirt.

But me? I’m loyal to Nam Doc Mai. Smooth, sweet, and no fibres to pick out of your teeth. If mangoes had a luxury tier, this one’s sipping champagne at the top.

Everywhere you turn on island, mangoes are front and centre. Backyards overflowing, stalls popping up along the roadside, coworkers casually flexing that their tree “has been bearing early this year.” And if you’ve got a friend with a mango tree, you treat them better than family.

It’s not just about eating them fresh (though that’s the dream). It’s mango smoothies, mango chutney, mango cheesecake, mango BBQ sauce. Mango on everything, and no one’s complaining.

And let’s not forget the true local rite of passage, learning how to peel one with your teeth. If you know, you know.

Some folks get excited for Christmas, some for Carnival. Me? I get excited when I see the first green mangoes showing up at the farmers market. I know what’s coming. I know it’s about to be that time again.

So here’s to mango season. The most important event on the calendar, unofficial or not.

In this fifteenth volume of The Wandering Inn, we’re watching a world in slow transformation. Goblins, Antinium, even long-held ideas of good and evil—all of it is being reexamined. The reason? The offworlders.

They’re no longer just oddities dropped into the world. They’re catalysts now. They don’t control the narrative, but the world shifts around them—reacting, evolving, becoming something new. It’s not dramatic at every turn, but it’s consistent. Quiet progress. Changed minds. A little more empathy in unexpected places.

One of the things this book does beautifully is embrace complexity. Nothing is black and white. People you once labeled villains show flickers of humanity. Heroes falter. Flos, in particular, remains one of the most compelling characters in the series—not just for his presence, but because of how the world treats his presence. No other ruler gets the word foresworn attached to them. With anyone else, a broken vow would be politics. With Flos? It’s myth-breaking. The weight of his word matters, and Pirateaba writes that weight into every page.

And as always, the writing is phenomenal. Expansive yet personal. Funny, heartbreaking, occasionally absurd—and always honest. The world of The Wandering Inn feels alive, and it still feels like we’ve only just scratched the surface.

This series could go on for a long time. Honestly? I hope it does.

P.S. If you’re listening to the audiobook, Andrea Parsneau continues to be a force. She doesn’t just narrate the story—she breathes life into it. Absolutely masterful.

I made a batch recently—enough to last a few mornings—and honestly, I might never go back to toast.

They’re packed with sautéed spinach, mushrooms, and a little sharp cheddar on top for that melty, golden finish. I used a mix of whole eggs and egg whites to keep things light but still satisfying. Bonus: they store perfectly in the fridge and reheat like a dream. Pop one in the microwave, and boom—breakfast is handled.

The beauty of these egg muffins? The ingredients are completely flexible. Sky’s the limit. Got leftover veggies? Toss ’em in. Want to add a little meat? Go for it.

Here are a few mix-in ideas:

Diced bell peppers

Cooked bacon or turkey sausage

Cherry tomatoes

Crumbled feta or goat cheese

Zucchini or grated carrot

Fresh herbs like parsley, thyme, or basil

Just make sure any add-ins are pre-cooked and not too watery (looking at you, tomatoes).

Before you even think about adding things to your cart, you’ll need a Trader Identification Number (TIN) and to appoint DHL as your customs agent through the COLS system. Here’s how:

🛃 Register on the COLS Website

Head to the COLS Portal and:

Click “Pre-register here” under the login button.

Choose Individual or Company/Business.

Fill in your details and upload a government-issued ID.

Submit your application.

Wait for your TIN to arrive via email (may take a few days).

🛃 Authorise DHL as Your Agent

Once you’re registered:

Log in to your COLS account.

Go to “Declarations” > “Agent Authorization.”

Select DHL International (Cayman) Ltd from the list.

Move them to your authorised agents and click Submit.

Now you’re ready to shop.

Step 2: Shop on Amazon

Now for the fun part.

Go to Amazon.com and change your shipping country to Cayman Islands.

Set your default address to your Cayman shipping address to make sure Amazon only shows you items that can be delivered here.

Search for what you need. Use the filter “Eligible for FREE Shipping” if you’re looking to save on shipping costs.
– Tip: Free shipping usually applies when you spend over USD $49 on qualifying items.

Not all items will ship to Cayman—even with your local address set. If something isn’t eligible, Amazon will let you know before checkout.

Add your items to your cart and proceed to checkout.

When prompted, enter your TIN.

Amazon will calculate duties and shipping fees up front. What you see at checkout is what you’ll pay.

Step 3: Track Your Order and Prepare for Delivery

Once your order ships:

You’ll get a tracking (waybill) number from DHL by email/text.

DHL will text you asking for:

A copy of your invoice

Your TIN (which you’ve already sorted—nice work)

Upload your invoice to the DHL portal as soon as you get the request to help avoid delays.

Delivery Options:

Home Delivery: This is the default option. DHL will deliver to the address you entered on Amazon—so make sure it’s one you have access to, like your home or workplace.

Pickup Option: Want it sooner? Once you upload your invoice to DHL, you can request a delivery change and choose “Pickup from DHL.” They’ll text you when your shipment is ready for collection at the DHL Service Point.

Quick Tips Before You Checkout

Double-check your cart for free shipping eligibility—not all items qualify.

Keep your invoice handy in case DHL asks again.

If Amazon says an item can’t be shipped to your address, there’s not much you can do—try a similar item or different seller.

Once your item arrives in Cayman, you shouldn’t have to pay any extra fees—Amazon includes duties and delivery costs upfront at checkout.

Delivery usually takes around two weeks from ordering—so don’t expect US shipping speeds.

Ordering from Amazon might take a few extra steps when you live in Cayman—but once you’re set up with COLS and DHL, it’s actually pretty easy.

Now go forth and add to cart 🛒
