This was before I was able to get a couple of Andromeda Wave Battle Cards, and exactly almost a year before a means were found for activating it's Wireless Event. I really didn't have any idea that the Wave Battle Card for it would work without it's activation process since my Pegasus Wave Scanner that I acquired early from a first WHF for Wave Masters Tournaments wasn't reading cards and / or making line dents on them. Perhaps maybe sometime I could post more once I get a new or fix the scanner. I also have SSR2's and EXE4~6 Secret Guides which show off such things as Event related info, battle strategies, merchandising, etc.

The first page shows the specs of the Card, it's first phase attack is Giga Missles for 100 3x3, and a Nebula Laser for 400. It also states that the Nebula Laser damages Invisible status. Dates for it were 6/23~4 in 2007, for GBA Slot transmission. Least from how Japanese Pocket Monsters Distribution was at the time.

The second page shows that the Wave Battle Card will also be distributed at the Event as a Special Wave Battle Card that can only be acquired at the Event. The Effect of the Card on SSR transforms a single Mega Class Card (only if present) into the Giga Class Card Andromeda once per-Wave in. There's also information about Wave Battle Card Booster Packs for Rockman Fire Leo (June) and Rockman Green Dragon (July) for 189 Yen.

The Instruction Booklet had a screenshot of a menu selection for Link Cable or Wireless Adapter which became an unused feature. It's really odd because I remember wanting to use the Wireless function with Friends and bought a Wireless Adapter so we could play Wirelessly instead of doing stuff via Link Cable. I even bought another two Japanese ones just in case I thought this was an issue with Hardware. I also had the English Version of Zoku Bokura no Taiyou, so it wouldn't link up with my Japanese ToB no matter what I did.

There might have been problems earlier on having both Crossover Battle with Zoku Bokura no Taiyou and having the Wireless Communication with EXE5. Maybe because linking up in two different modes with the Progress Chip Gate also made things and issue. Maybe they wanted to remove the feature because they knew they'd make EXE5DS eventually.

I used to have codes made from my Friend, radikarudreamer. Which allowed the menu in the main game of EXE5 to be accessed. I still have them some where and once I find them I'll have to post them. It did, infact work with actual hardware. But the real problem was needing more than one Cheat Device in order to do such a thing entering the Client and Host Menus. We eventually just got sick of things from that point on and used Link Cable the old fashion way. Also, the Team of Colonel booklet does not have this error in there.

Summer Updates should be coming along of certain things from my collection of merchandise. Mainly CD rips (acquired some new ones recently for the more older published CDs that are pricey these days), interesting Book page scans or HQ Photos of Book pages, and probably Game Saves.

You might notice in the Game Save sections that I've added Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS. My revision of the EXE4 Save I've finally completed this week, after it coming to a hault for almost more than 3 years I've finally finished it. There were some things I wasn't happy with on my first run through of the entire game that I wanted to correct. This save is especially a good one, since it has the actual Special Chip Transmission Cards used for GrandPrixPower G and Duo D that were given out at those Survival Netbattle Tournaments at the World Hobby Fair.

Saves that are Coming Soon status mean that I have the save done, it's just that I need to tinker with some things so they look more up to par with my standards. In progress means what it says it means. And Probably Never means I just don't care too much for it, and wouldn't expect anything so soon.

My wishes for the 3DS besides Dash 3 being decent are Rockman EXE3DS (some kind of EXE or new Series for 3DS that's Action RPG Rockman without any SSR, since Crossovers are getting stale. Return EXE, and don't make a not so great Collection where the screen isn't expanded). I also wouldn't mind the Wii U having some type of EXE game, it would be perfect for selecting Chips. Just when you thought it was done. Yet, another Arrangement for the Zero Series. Oddly enough it's not a part of the "REMASTERED TRACKS" line, and instead named after that Zero Collection and it's almost a year since Mythos released. I honestly haven't given this a listen to yet. And I'm quite tired of the Zero Series music, especially after a 6th arrange album. I only bought the CD since I had all the other ones. Not to mention naming it after the Zero Collection again (which really did nothing for me). I wouldn't mind seeing a different Rockman Series arranged personally. And I'm sure we will some time after Rockman DASH3's release on the Nintendo 3DS. I really think DASH Series and EXE Series could use arrangement work. Hopefully enough they don't decide to pull a 7th Arrange Album for a Zero Series for next year... They've been on GameFAQs for a while, but I've recently made it so they can be used on a PS3. And yes, any PSN Classic Title like Rockman 1~3 should work with these Virtual Memory Card saves.

<strike>It's kind of upsetting we have to wait until Universe for Rockman 4 and onward for Japanese PSN</strike>, yet I can't simply play it on my PS3 since it's a USA version of the console. PSX and Japanese PS2 look terrible on my HDTV. I'm basically in a situation where I have to play Rockman 5&6 via Emulator with my own backups and saves. I've had a chance to purchase Rockman 1~4 though through PSN, and it's very nice having it all internal without needing to use my Retail Discs. Which is why I couldn't wait for 4, since 4 next to 3 were my favorites when I was a Child.

Expect other systems besides just PlayStation saves at a later time.

I'm still alive and all, it's just that there's really not much going on with Rockman lately. I do have more music rips in the works to put out at some point and some other content. I've just had so much activity on the General Blog with Pokemon and Events in preparations of the new Series of games. I've typed out my opinions on possible future works of the Rockman Series for fun.

Thoughts on Portable Action RPG Rockman

It's a real shame Capcom hasn't announced something new in terms of Rockman EXE or SSR, I'm usually used to an announcement in the middle or the end of the Summer season. You'd figure they would of done something by now, especially if the new Pocket Monsters games are releasing so they could compete with them. Especially with the lack luster Zero Collection that released in June. OSS had it's faults, but I really wouldn't mind that with an EXE2DS or onward at a cheap price if they did go that route with something that isn't a new game. Anything but a Collection with a GBA Sized Screen. Maybe they're waiting for the Nintendo 3DS or haulting everything for sometime in 2011.

Thoughts on Rockman DASH 3

I gadly welcome this addition to the Series. Everyone wants it, and it's been about 10 years since the second game. It would be perfect if they went PS3 for it and maybe X360. But I'm sure I'd probably get the PS3 version considering I don't own a Japanese 360. It would be very nice if they had things like Downloadable Content for new weapons and skins. All in all, the graphics would surely look great either way.

Thoughts on Megaman Universe

I honestly don't think this is going to take off, the creepy Trailer doesn't really make me want to play it at all nor purchase it. It seems like it's geared to classic Capcom and Original Rockman more so than anything. I also don't understand why there's other Capcom Series in the Trailer too. There really hasn't been any gameplay or screenshot confirmations just yet, I just don't see it especially if it's an American Capcom product. It makes me really question the quality overall of the game.

Thoughts on Rockman 11

It's obvious that this one is coming, especially with the success of online sales and merchandising. The Ending is still left open. There's not really much to say, and why not a Trilogy of new Original Series games that are 8-Bit. For an Japanese English collaborative product, I think it's a good homage to Rockman 1~6 for the Famicom still with Rockman 9 and 10 even though there are some faults. Some of the things they can improve on are more Power Ups, like the Rush Adapters in 6, or things like Special Weapons (I suppose I can't complain with Forte Mode). I thought it was nice how they did Rockman 10 with alternate routes for certain stages. I want the exact same feel that 9 had, with the Lava ricochet off the metal. An overpowered 8-Bit game. I suppose we'll also get Duo Mode for Additional Content, and hopefully some Special Stage Bosses like 10 had with the Rockman Killers. I would love to see 8-Bit variations of the Mega World unique Stage and Bosses.

It's a lot like ZX Gigamix (which I don't own) in a sense, and has various arrangements to certain BGM for the Zero Series of games. It also has a new track for the Intro of the Rockman Zero Collection. They even went as far as releasing a Limited Box Set with every Remastered Tracks Rockman Zero 1~4 and Mythos. I probably won't end up going for it even though the Box did look nice when it first was announced. The BGM is a lot more clearer than Rockman Zero 1~4 on a GBA, the only downside is certain instruments sound a little off or changed, and the BGM connection for 2 Player Mode in Zero 2 is completely gone from both the collection and Music data. The Music is probably the only thing I like out of the Collection. It's still just a real shame the Gameplay is the Original size from the GBA. The only thing that's new is the Intro, again, like OSS.

I imagine the game process would be even simpler if they recreated BGs. When it's side/top scrolling game play where the BG repeats with jumping it wouldn't be such hard work to expand the screen. And there's only that many BGs in throughout Z1~4 that don't repeat.

Update 2:

Logical is using the GBA Slot, and not using more Battery Power for useless touch screen artwork that's a big distraction. Logical is not having things like blood, voices, and whole features removed from the Original games. There must be something wrong if people aren't understanding and denying what's wrong with the compilation. Especially when the Artwork Screen is bigger than the gameplay screen. I also like having features untamed, the way the developers intended it to be. My only explanation is Capcom aren't the ones that made this Collection. Inti's English branch probably did, seeing as the release dates are all so close to each other. Every English Collection out there isn't much of an improvement. The Anniversary Collection has whole features gimped from the Complete Works games (aside from the reverse buttons on the GC Ver.), the X Collection is awfully slow and doesn't sound right. All in all, lazy port is still lazy.

Update:

It seems as if people are having a big issue over my opinions. I'm entitled to say whatever I please and do with my Blog. Deal with it, and leave the jealously rage behind you. It's just simply a poorly made compilation next to other games. Besides, people are only going to complain the very next week about everything I'm saying right now about it all. Right? I have a right though, just like people pissed all over SOS.

GBA game size resolution with annoying Artwork on the bottom, and nothing new (I can't really count Zero 3 Card e-Reader+ as I own all of them and used most of them on Z3). They really did a lazy job with this. Everyone can say what they want about EXEOSS. But at least that had some new things and fit the DS Screen size.

This really isn't any better than playing on the GBA Slot of the DS or even the GB Player. He'll run and jump around and fight round bullets at you. Jewel Satellite is his Weakness upon hitting him with it, but you could also reflect the bullets right back at him, but that only takes off 1 peg as if you were shooting the regular Rock Buster at him. Another strategy that's good incase you run out of J. Screw Crusher has a lot of Weapon Energy for what you'll need it for.

Boss Hatch.

Ballade

He's like he was in Rockman World 4. I'm quite honestly disappointed how fast I was able to destroy him with Screw Crushers. He's not too bad, if you're using the Rock Buster even though it takes one peg off. Just explode his bombs, and avoid when he walks over to you after the jumping face planting Ballade Crackers. He never took into his Second Form neither. The Sprite Data is definitely in the game too, maybe it changes if you defeat him once. He'll usually throw 3 Screw Crushers at you as he jumps in the same spot, they're pretty easy to dodge once you get the timing right. The Mirror Buster worked the best against him, then again I didn't have B.Cracker on me before this because I did it in order. Since there's no Slide, you'll have to jump over him if he's in the middle or too high when he's doing his phase to get to the other screen with his pattern. It's kind of odd fighting him though, it's a shame you can't used charged Rock Buster shots against him like World 3. I ended up using Rock Buster shots to finish him off, since I was tired of getting used to the Mirror Buster and his Screw Crushers to get absorbed.

After you defeat Punk, you'll get a Clear Time. When he runs, he does a slide over to the other side of you. He'll jump twice to get to the other side of the screen, or just do one big jump. Sometimes he'll even do his Mirror Buster absorb power with his lance in the middle of the screen just to throw you off, depending on where you're currently standing. Like RW1 for GB, he's pretty easy with his pattern. The only weakness is the Rock Buster. You can use the other two Special Stage Weapons in Time Attack once you clear the desired Special Stage. I haven't gotten a chance to try the S.Crusher nor B.Cracker.

After you defeat Enker, you'll get a Clear Time. If it's your first time completing the Stage, your System Data will flag Mirror Buster unlocked for every game mode. This means all Saves when you start them up (can be saved after load), and New Playthroughs, Time Attack, and Endless Attack. The Weapons can only be used by Rock only. Blues and Forte never get these Weapons, even hacking them in manually makes the game freeze trying to use them.

The Cushion is bigger than I expected it to be. It has cotton probably from how it feels, and the surface of it is very smooth and durable too. The Black Marking print on it has a nice feel to it. I just couldn't pass this up when they announced this with the RM10OST. I knew I'd have to get the Bonus Disc from e-Capcom, I knew other places like Amazon Japan wouldn't get something like that. I missed out on the RM9 Pins because of the whole restock, even preordering the first day the page was up.

Hopefully there'll be an easier way to acquire one, and not just from e-Capcom. I recommend it for any fan of the Series, it's right up there next to the E-Can Drink (thanks MajinTB!) with the coolness and nostalgic factor.

There were only 3000 Beast Operations given out across Japan. I saw the single auction one time for around 3500 Yen, but that was back when I wasn't bent on collecting every Special Modification Card. That was around March 2006 when Beast Operation had just released. It's now 2010 and I've finally acquired the Card. It's another one of those rare cards. Just like the Duo D Special Chip Transmission Card that I obtained in another auction, which was a free giveaway at WHF 2004 Summer ~ Survival Netbattle 2004.

It's just so nice to have all of these Cards now. Instead of having some empty holders in my binders that really stand out. And I really didn't need anyone's help neither to acquire these. It was a fun hobby for the amount of time I've been collecting them. Everything after Card e-Reader+ with Rockman didn't seem as good. As a EXE4's DarkMemory Card has not been talked about, or seen since CoroCoro Magazine Issue February 2004, and reports of game memory of it being unused and non-existant. I think it's safe to say I finally own all of the Special Mod Cards for the EXE Series.

I'm not taking requests for Dot Code dumps or Card Scans at this time, that especially means not giving other places my Dot Code dumps and not getting credit for my own work. Maybe in a couple of more years or longer I'll set up some type of project like I originally planned to. Also don't mind the Images, I made them crappy on purpose so they can't be recreated.
