For me, a shopping trip to the mall is never complete without a cup of coffee. My friends are saying I should buy a k cup coffee maker from CoffeeMakers.com to brew my own coffee at home. But you know what, they’re missing the whole point.

I want to end my shopping trip, on a high note, with a good cup of latte or cappucino. It’s a good way to wind down and relax a little after all that working. So it’s very different from having a cuppa in my own kitchen which is nice but it’s not the same as hanging out at a coffee joint, know what I mean?

This, apparently, is a good year for having babies. Babies born in the year of the dragon are supposed to bring and enjoy good luck. I’m not sure how far that’s true but it sure has folks expecting that they’d be the lucky ones.

Business for preggy and baby wear, chocolates and romeo y julieta cigars must be booming right now as every other woman I’m seeing at the mall seems to be expecting . Definitely an interesting trend to watch.

I find that I work harder at the gym when I have my dance playlist blasting into my ears. Somehow music has that power to drive and motivate you into putting in more effort, I think or has the experts already proven that in some study.

At any rate, I just realized I must’ve misplaced my headphones and now I really need to buy myself a new pair of Sony studio headphones before I hit the gym next, otherwise no work might get done . So if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to shop for one right now.

A new mall has opened nearby and since we were at loose ends, we decided to pop in and have a look, have some lunch and just check out what’s new and happening. That’s me, ever the shopperista.

The atmosphere was quite festive with loud music playing over Mackie Speakers and the DJ encouraging folks to step up and take part in the live contests. Usually the sound quality is pretty bad and we can hardly hear a thing. I guess it does make a huge difference if you’re using high-end speakers because the sound quality was loud and clear and we could hear the DJ from quite a ways.
